Breakfast plates were great with many options to choose from. I had the burger one night for dinner and it was well prepared and very tasty. The second night I had the hcicken tacos and those were really good. So many good flavors combined. Their kids meals were great too. Best food in HR, in our opinion!

This is one of our go-to spots on Hood River. We've been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and…read moresomehow they manage to nail it every single time. Today's mission? Split the St. Helens Burger, an order of fries, and a side salad with the recommended goat cheese (trust them--it was the right call). The burger was everything you want it to be. A fresh poppy seed bun, a perfectly cooked patty, sweet caramelized onions... and then came the poblano pepper. That little bit of smoky heat tied the whole thing together. Now let's talk about the fries because they deserve their own paragraph. These are, without question, my favorite fries. They arrived hot, crispy, perfectly golden, and had that satisfying crunch that makes it impossible to stop at just one. If you're a fry person, these alone are worth the visit. The side salad was fresh and flavorful, and the creamy goat cheese took it from "just a side salad" to something I'd happily order again. It was the perfect balance to all those delicious fries. If you're looking for a place that consistently delivers great food in a welcoming atmosphere, Kickstand Coffee should absolutely be on your list. We've yet to have a bad meal here, and it's one of those places we recommend without hesitation to friends, family, and anyone who asks where to eat. I now wish I didn't let my husband eat more of the fries. Gotta head back up there soon! Service was great and love that the girl at the counter asked me if I was doing anything fun today - extra friendliness goes a long way!

Amazing textures! Juicy berries! It's yogurt with seeds, apples, raisins, honey, and banana BLENDED in, Cold Stone style, with fresh berries layered on top. I've been craving some sort of masterful yogurt/fruit concoction ever since I tried the forbidden orchard blueberries at Destroyer in LA, and this completely quenched that craving! And for less than half the price! The grains and seeds make it hearty and filling, and the fruit is perfectly juicy. 100% recommend. Breakfast sandwich #5 (egg, cheese, apple butter, caramelized onions) -- Tastes like autumn. One of the more unconventional breakfast sandwich ingredient combos, this little fella was actually very gentle on the tongue. It had just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect for when you want dessert for breakfast but don't want to admit it. The bread was soft, and the sandwich as a whole was just very comforting. Hot mocha latte -- Rich chocolatey flavor. I would have liked it sweeter, but I do tend to like things sweeter than most people do. Whipped cream on top was yummy. Service was quick. It wasn't too busy so that definitely helped. There are plenty of outlets and places to sit. Peaceful, upscale environment with lots of outdoor space. Loved it!

Even though they were super busy, we were able to find an outdoor table quickly because they have plenty of space inside as well as outside and luckily people didn't linger around for long. Both drinks we got were so good - I got the Hot Mexican Mocha, and it was strong but also so chocolatey! Definitely sit outside if you like people watching!

You can also contact Beverly, the owner, who will do special orders and even provide treats for events like weddings, celebratory parties, special dinners, anything! Over the years I have tried many items and loved them all. There are always unique flavors built into everyday pastries which take B's Sweets to the next level. For example, the maple scones have figs incorporated giving them both texture and contrast. The doughnuts are sometimes flavored with lavender, sometimes hibiscus, sometimes both, giving them a scent and flavor that elevates the ordinary doughnut to something truly special. Even though I am not gluten free, I often buy the GF shortbread cookies beautify decorated with an edible pansy flower. Trust me, you need to buy this for your next brunch or gathering. Not only do they add an artistic flair to your table, they are scrumptious! And all of your friends can enjoy them. The mini tarts - in various flavors depending on what's in season - are also decorated with pansy's and dried fruit. Just gorgeous ! The lemon tart is my favorite but recently bought the blood orange and everyone loved it. Sometimes there are purple tarts - lavendar - and while the color may throw you off, go for it! So good. There are various types of stuffed croissants, brownies, artisan chocolate bon bins and caramels, cookies, focaccia, hand pies, cinnamon rolls, lavender tea cookies and more! Really hard to make decisions. Luckily I'm there weekly so I get to try most everything. The lavender shortbread squares with half dipped in dark chocolate, sprinkled with lavender, are my favorite. Only available in the cooler months as chocolate melts in the heat, I always buy a box of 6 for $10. They also make a great little hostess or just because gift for a friend. You can also find these at the gift store at Hood River Lavender farm for a treat any day of the week. The owner and baker, Beverly, is the best! So kind, friendly and enthusiastic about her baked goods and the customers genuine enjoyment. Call her for special orders. She also provides dessert spreads for events. Your guests will love them!! We all got different sandwiches and every single one of us loved what we got. Wasn't too busy on a Friday morning, plenty of open seating. They did have pastries as well but did not partake. Ordered the bagel and lox which was amazing- came with all the fixings such as tomatoes, capers & red onions. The salmon was fresh and the bagel was nice and toasty, just the way I prefer. Got to taste the sandwich with the jam and loved it. Kind of wish I got that sandwich instead just cause of the jam. The bread was really good too- I think they were homemade english muffins. Everything on the sandwich was just chef's kiss! All of the employees were really nice. The place was clean as you have to "buss" your own table. Glad that people can follow directions. The drinks my group ordered came out piping hot and was served with a smile. Cool spot!

You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. The dining space is bright with tons of seating. I love that they make their own bread!! It's super soft and such a nice touch. I usually go with the turkey which has turkey, white cheddar, tomato, pickles, onion, lettuce, and hot mustard. It was a bit spicier than I would have liked, not that it was too hot, but that flavor was really dominant for me so I'd probably modify it a bit in the future or just build my own . My daughter loved her ham sandwich which comes with sprouts, avocado, and cucumber. My husband also really liked his Italian and their clam chowder. This place is definitely worth a stop if you are hungry in the Gorge!
