The good: Cute place and cozy. Friendly staff. The bad: kitchen greasy smell strong and all our clothes and hair smelled after. But the really disappointing part is the food. Ordered three items. Steak and fires but meat texture and flavor showed that it is not fresh high quality meat. The fries had lemon seasoning which makes it sour. Sad dish even though recommended by bartender. Vietnamese chicken wing too saucy and have almost no tamarind taste. The Brussels Sprouts is decent but over fried and dry. HONESTLY!! I walked in and I felt like family. Everyone was so nice. Bartenders were attentive. They knew I was in a time crunch. They found it funny and they gave me a shit like the boys do. Woo weeeee! Branch Line Bar is my kind of vibe! It's dark, it's sexy, it's low key. The drinks are excellent, the food is yummy, the music is bumpin', and the crowd is fun. So, not sure how it was lookin' before, but it looks friggin' haaawt now! It's like propagation on the back wall, rusticism on the floor and bar top, and dazzling light work on the ceiling. Very eclectic and easy on the eyes. Plus, that dark lighting just sets the mood, yo. It's a yes for me decor-wise. 100 percent bae. Sat at the bar and basically got a free show. I'm a lover of craft cocktails, and seeing when bartenders "craft" them always puts a smile on my face. The bartenders were all warm and friendly. They too were having a fun time and it was such a joy to see. Ordered two cocktails and a beer to wind me down before I left. The cocktails are beautifully crafted here. They seriously know how to mix the perfect ingredients together. Pure utopian liquid sustenance right there, I tell ya! Had the Wimbledon Station and the Fiyah Water cocktails and both tasted amazing and left ya girl with a sizable buzz :). They serve food here as well and practically everything on their menu sounds delicious. Ordered the steak frites and the steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Their frites are potato wedge style but still so enjoyably crispy. One thing that Shayla loves is crispy carb, and those frites just did it for me. You cannot go wrong with the food or drinks here. The music was bangin' baybee! They was bumpin' that good sh¡t, makin' my head bob for most of my time there. They had a game on, but I wasn't really paying too much attention to it. I guess if you're into the games, this would be a nice spot to kick it and watch. On a side note, their restroom was super clean! We all know how some bar restrooms can be. I applaud them for the upkeep, and I enjoyed reading the little lit up quotes on the walls. One of those rare times where I felt like I could stay there all day. Like, take AAAALLLL my money! This whole dayum wallet. Mm hmm, one of dem nights. Loved it, loved it, looooved it. This place is going in my pocket of favorite East Bay bars. Hey, my friends and neighbors took me here the other night and I'll be honest I think this is a great tucked away spot. The music is slamming, and the service was great, but I used to work for the health department in Pennsylvania. I actually worked for the Director, and anytime we went out to eat he would say, "If there is anything wrong with the food you're gonna know within 12 hours after eating it." Well, I knew within an hour. I don't know exactly what it was but it didn't sit right with my stomach. It had me up for hours. This time, theyve outdone themselves. I went there with a rather large group for business purposes and wanted to show them a place with great drinks. Not only were my guests impressed with the services being provided, but they were also impressed with the drinks. Hearing them leave satisfied and everyone had a great time here was such an honor. This place is small, but packs a punch! Its delightful. This spot is hidden amongst the newish buildings in Emeryville. Its got a snazzy and classy interior. Perfect for an evening date. We went on a Wednesday and there were probably about 10 patrons there, plus 2 visible staff. Just enough people to make it look alive, but not too many. I suspect on a Friday or Saturday night, this place will be packed. The drink list is clever. It ain't cheap. But where is it possible to get cheap crafted cocktails with decent ingredients. One recommendation I have for them is to turn the music down a little. Its a little loud for talking. Parking is fairly easy. This place is good and has decent bar food. You should come here for beer and to watch games, but if you're looking for amazing tasty food- maybe try another place. The artichoke crab dip was good, but I didn't get much artichoke or crab, just cheese which was complimented the toasted baguette that accompanied it. The steak frites were just okay. I visited this place Monday 11/11/24 at about 6:30 pm as I was waiting on in the Bartender came out for the bar and leaned against the wall next to my table which made me very uncomfortable. So I ordered a virgin cocktail for starter and water. I ask what he could make and he stated it can't be that f**ken hard it mocktail. I was a little taken aback. It was trouble the worst mocktail I have ever had. After my friends arrived there order drinks and we ordered food the service continues to be horrible I wanted to get up and leave. The workers need some training on customer service and the cooks need to go back to cooking school. and the bartender needs to go back to school. I finally checked out this stylish cute little bar/lounge after moving to this neighborhood and OMG I loved it and I had a great time! The outdoor seating area and the inside is adorable. And let me just tell you, that Alissa, the fabulous and amazing bartender was also such a warm host, a master of ceremonies and overall "Julie the cruise director." Awesome little spot tucked away in Emeryville- Branch Line Bar offers up beers, wine, cocktails, and bites and burgers! Their menu rotates from what it sounds/seems like because it used to be Asian fusion food, but we ordered some burgers, wings, and chips and salsa. Service was quick and attentive- it was relaxed with dim lit lights. Beer selection is written up on the chalkboard wall- they had some games showing so I assume that they show popular games as well. We ordered buffalo wings- not a crispy exterior, sauce seemed homemade and was yummy, came with either a blue cheese or ranch dressing? and celery. 8 pcs for $10. Pretty decent. Chips and salsa- chips seemed like they were from Costco, but the smoky salsas (esp the tomatillo one) more than made up for the cost. $6 as an appetizer but they were also served alongside the burgers if you didn't want to upgrade to fries for an extra $3. They also had charcuterie boards, shrimp chips, and oven baked fries to share. I went with a Moscow mule which was an awesome nightcap. Hope to return! read more

It took me a while to find it as signage not that noticeable and it was freezing out. Once inside it is very dark, 1 bartender working but very nice. I ordered the poke ($16) and steak frite ($28) and a passion fruit margarita revised alcohol to vodka ($11 on HH 4-6). Drink was tasty. The steak frite had perfectly crisp fries as I normally don't like steak fries. The steak was tender but lacked flavor. It definitely needed some salt, it wasn't salty and maybe more sauce to help. The poke was good but lacked enough poke pieces and missing shrimp chips. It came with tortilla chips instead and it didn't hit the spot. For the price portions were lacking but we wanted to give it a try. Again vibes were great but food didn't impress like I was hoping. It started to get filled up (its small) by 6.
