This shop commits INSURANCE FRAUD! Wish i could leave a 0 star review…read more.. I took my car to this shop after being rear ended and having damage on my rear bumper. The shop told me that they would replace my bumper and any parts associated with the collision I was in. They ensured me that they would replace everything especially because the other party's insurance company was covering the damages. I was told by the insurance company that this was also going to be case given the paperwork the shop had submitted to them and the amount they had approved. Everything was to be replaced. Now, one year later, I had a reason to take the bumper off for a paint scuff that occurred at a car wash, and I come to find out that my original bumper is still the one on my car, and it has been repaired. This is clear fraud on the shop's end and I have full proof of documentation and photos. I called the shop and spoke to the owner, and he began to tell me that he doesn't have any paperwork to corroborate this work that was supposed to be done on my car, and he isn't even sure he got paid by the insurance company. This is a lie because I have proof that states otherwise. I then go to this shop and meet with the owner, who by the end of a 30 minute back and forth admits to wrong doing and that he is going to reimburse me for the fraud they committed. Since that meeting in person, he has been blowing me off and not answering my calls. This shop committed insurance fraud and collected money from insurance for parts that they did not replace. My assumption is that this is a common part of their practice given the owner's response to me confronting him about it, and now not being ethical about dealing with it. I wonder how many other customers of theirs this has happened to... no one is the wiser unless they have a reason to inspect their work from underneath.

The staff was very nice and communicated often, so there is a plus. The damage to the car required a new back area, I don't understand why the car wasn't totaled out by my insurance company because they paid more than the car was worth for repairs, but I am not sure that has anything to do with Caliber Collision. It took a month for the repairs to be completed, there were issues with getting the hatchback to fit properly, and ended up having to get a whole new back area. I was finally told I could pick up the car, and then later that day told to wait because they wanted to wash it for me. When I got the car home I noticed the items from my trunk were tossed all over, some things were crushed and many items were covered with a slick, greasy liquid. in addition, the car was filthy on the outside and there was stuff smeared all over the inside window, which I still haven't gotten off the entire windshield. Why say the car would be washed when it obviously wasn't? Also, the cover to the trunk is broken when it wasn't before. When I picked up the car I looked at the rear and it looked ok, the other day I looked at the area where the rear meets the back, right door and there is a gap, which also wasn't there before. They are nice people but beyond that, I wasn't thrilled.

0/5 - Extremely Disappointing Experience I would not…read morerecommend this shop based on my experience. My vehicle was repaired here through my GEICO insurance claim. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward collision repair turned into multiple trips back to the shop because of workmanship and quality-control issues. After I initially picked up the vehicle and inspected it carefully in daylight, I noticed significant problems with the paintwork. The refinished areas had very noticeable orange-peel texture that did not match the surrounding factory finish. There were also imperfections that appeared to be dirt or debris in the paint, along with other areas that simply did not look properly finished. I immediately contacted GEICO and brought the vehicle back to the shop. I gave this shop multiple opportunities, ultimately three chances, to address my concerns. Instead of properly resolving the paint-finish issues, they repeatedly attempted corrective polishing. After one of those attempts, I could clearly see polishing/buffer marks on the hood. Even after their latest attempt, the orange-peel texture was still noticeable and the overall finish was still not acceptable to me. What made the experience even more frustrating was the customer service and communication throughout this process. I repeatedly had to follow up, explain the same concerns, document the defects with photos and videos, and involve GEICO. I wasn't expecting perfection beyond reason. I simply expected a professional collision repair where the refinished areas would reasonably match the appearance and quality of the rest of the vehicle. After giving the original shop repeated opportunities to correct the problems, I contacted GEICO again and provided documentation of the condition of the vehicle. GEICO is now working with me under the repair warranty on the next steps, which may involve having the issues addressed elsewhere. I have photos and videos documenting the condition of the vehicle throughout this process. I don't enjoy leaving reviews like this, but after three opportunities to make the repair right, I believe other customers should know about my experience. For me, this was absolutely not the level of workmanship, quality control, communication, or customer service I expected from a collision repair facility participating in an insurance repair program. One star.
