I first met the owner, Brandon, a couple of years ago when I wanted a custom paint done on my ZX-14 motorcycle. I had received a few recommendations about his work from motorcycle enthusiasts and decided to give him a go. I knew what what I thought I liked and talked to him about ideas; ultimately I decided to let him take a creative jab at it. What I got was an incredible piece of work in a short period of time and was loving having a unique motorcycle to prowl around on. Fast forward a couple of years and my wife dediced to custom paint her car. Brandon not only helped her pick the color she ultimately fell in love with, but transformed her car from a standard every day auto to a stand-out one-of-a-kind head-turner. I can't say enough great things about Brand-X-Customs and the owner, Brandon. They recently worked on my lowered Chevy, and did a phenomenal job. The truck was literally too low to drive when I bought it, would bottom out and / or dive over the smallest bump - and there are a lot of lousy roads around here. I brought it to Brand-X to see what they could do, fully expecting to have to "re-lower" it at no small expense. He took a look at it, took it for a quick test drive, and then told me what he recommended to fix it. This is where I think Brand-X sets themselves apart. He didn't oversell me on anything, didn't tack on a bunch of extra "shop & materials" fees, or anything like that. He got the work down QUICKLY, PROFESSIONALLY, and UNDER BUDGET. He even fixed a couple little odds and ends while he was doing the work that make the truck SO much more drive-able. I would stay far away from here. My experience here was from 1 year ago . I brought them a complete sbc 350 to install into my 1990 s10. Brandon told me $3000 which seemed high but I told them my only concern was that it's done right. We agreed at that price. Fast forward 6 months later and I get a call saying they need another $7500 to finish it. I was shocked and came in right away. I agreed to another $3000 which I was not happy about. After that I got a call my truck was ready. I show up and it's a mess trucks full of parts and pieces. Wiring hanging every where. I get it home and it's leaking gas, coolant, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid. The gas pedal wasn't bolted down tight, throttle cable wasn't installed right. Transmission not shifting right. Needless to say not much was done right. When I picked up my truck they couldn't even provide a receipt to me. They said there accountant was out of the office and they would call me the next day. Never heard from them again. While it was a huge disappointment I will say They do excellent welding. read more

They were recommended to me a friend of Brandon's because he believed that they could repair my Ford Escape rear bumper which had a 6x6 inch hole. Another body shop wanted to replace the rear bumper which would have been very costly. Brandon assured me that could repair it and it would look like new. They got the work done very quickly and went above and beyond to ensure the highest level of quality and service was provided at every point of interaction. The cost was very reasonable (no insurance claim) and it looks like new. Easy to work with + great at what they do = Total rock stars. Besides being a auto body/custom shop, Brand-X Customs is also a official Cerakote applicator. I had some firearm parts Cerakoted. They did an Excellent job for a fair price. The turnaround on my parts was good as well. I will recommend to everyone and return for more Cerakote in the future. read more
