I had a 2018 Ford Fiesta that was rear ended by an SUV over the summer. My insurance sent me to Caliber Collision for repairs. The staff was very nice and communicated often, so there is a plus. The damage to the car required a new back area, I don't understand why the car wasn't totaled out by my insurance company because they paid more than the car was worth for repairs, but I am not sure that has anything to do with Caliber Collision. It took a month for the repairs to be completed, there were issues with getting the hatchback to fit properly, and ended up having to get a whole new back area. I was finally told I could pick up the car, and then later that day told to wait because they wanted to wash it for me. When I got the car home I noticed the items from my trunk were tossed all over, some things were crushed and many items were covered with a slick, greasy liquid. in addition, the car was filthy on the outside and there was stuff smeared all over the inside window, which I still haven't gotten off the entire windshield. Why say the car would be washed when it obviously wasn't? Also, the cover to the trunk is broken when it wasn't before. When I picked up the car I looked at the rear and it looked ok, the other day I looked at the area where the rear meets the back, right door and there is a gap, which also wasn't there before. Had some rear end damage to my Honda CRV. Insurance recommended Caliber Collision in Lynwood. James was my service rep. Really nice guy, communicated well through the repair process. Got my car back quicker than I expected and I'm very happy with the repairs. Unfortunately the radio stopped working at some point. These guys were happy to take the car back and ended up replacing the whole radio with no charge to me, which I really appreciate. Really happy with my experience here. read more

Called for an estimate, person on the other end said that estimates were scheduled out to the end of December, then stopped talking. I asked if I could get on the schedule, she then asked what insurance company I was working with. I said Progressive, she then told me they don't work with Progressive. As other reviewers have said, shady "working the system" business. Avoid at all costs. read more

Not speaking for them all but my experience was much different. I found it to be more like the fox guarding the hen house (Legally contractional extortion.) They know their game, they don't like questions and I found them to be quite unorganized and somewhat sketchy. GM was non existent. They have the customer relation skills of most a drive through take out establishment. read more

Terrible customer service. Was recommended by insurance to use their services. Went in for light quarter panel damage, when I went to pick up the vehicle it was dead, had to jump start it myself, they forgot my spare wheel, had to go ask for it. And on top of that, they totally messed up my instrument cluster causing it to be inoperable and they told me, "try smacking it and it should work". What a joke. Now because it was damaged by them, I had to take my car to volvo where they confirmed it was bad now. Mind you it worked before getting hit, after getting hit, but when I pick it up it's bad, nice. So the manager told me to kick rocks and would not help a customer that he did wrong. This repair is a couple thousand dollar fix for something that SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPEND. Unfortunately, my overall repair experience was not great. My entire right side of the car was sideswiped and needed extensive work. While the repair work itself was relatively quick overall (a few weeks to source parts and complete the physical work), my final outcome was pretty poor. The first time I got my car back. Several parts and pieces were simply missing entirely from my car. I pointed it out and they eventually fixed it, but still not great. Then I discovered that they must have laid protection across the car to try and cover the hood while working on the car, but that protection scratched the heck out of my hood. I brought my car back yet again to fix this and they ended up doing more harm than good when trying to buff it out. That's when I took it to my detailer and discovered that Caliber not only screwed up my hood, but they got clear overspray across my entire vehicle, so now my whole car's paintwork was hazy and dull. Once I finally got the paint back to pre-accident condition, it also exposed some pretty poor paintwork overall where Caliber had repainted the car but wasn't clean and caused ripples and other paint defects. Ultimately, Caliber has yet to make me whole for the damage caused to my vehicle. Pretty disappointed. read more

This shop made my car accident experience a breeze! I worked with Progressive as this is one of their preferred retailers. Customer service is fabulous and gave updates on my car throughout the week. Went over my bill in detail and described the fixes that had been made. I would give Caliber Collision 10 stars if it were possible. I was in a car accident where the majority of my damage was to my fender and driver's side door, but there were scratches all the way down my car to the bumper. I took my car to a different shop for an estimate. This estimate took about one minute and only two pictures were taken of my car (both of which were taken of only the main dent). An email followed about an hour later with the actual estimate. Then I went to Caliber Collision, and right away, I could tell the estimate was being done how an estimate should be done! Ben Wilson took about 20 minutes going over ALL of the damage to my car, writing everything down, checking for scratches, checking underneath the car, between crevices, under the hood, inside the door frame, etc. Ben entered all the damage in the computer and I got my estimate no more than 5 minutes later. (Not to my surprise), the first estimate from the place I went to beforehand missed a lot of the damages, and therefore, I was under-quoted what it would cost to fix my car. So obviously, I chose to go with Caliber Collision and Ben made the whole experience awesome. He did all of the communicating with my insurance, constantly sent me updates on my car, and got it back to me in a timely manner (especially during COVID where a lot of businesses are running a little slower). He was also very friendly and seemed super excited to get to work on my car, so I knew it would be in good hands. I got my car back and it looks better than it did before my accident. They even washed and waxed my car, vacuumed the inside, and put air in my tires before getting it back to me. I would 100% recommend Caliber Collision to anyone who needs their car fixed! read more

I recently took my 2004 Sequoia in to have some work done on the hood / roof / rear and bumpers. All through the process I was updated with the progress. I had a great experience at the Shop after my car had couple of scratches and was sent to the shop by my insurance. I came in for repairs and was expecting a huge bill, but I ended up paying nothing.The service supervisor was very sweet and personable. He seemed very honest and told me not to get body work done as its not required and the issue can be taken care by polishing it self. I have never seen a service being so honest and dedicated on saving money for customers. Caliber Collision in Smky Pt has the WORST customer service imaginable. I had two open claims on my vehicle. The payment through my insurance company was applied on the wrong claim. Now Caliber Collision won't refund my insurance company. My adjuster is having a very hard time dealing with them. They lie and hide behind blocked number. The admitted that their office messed up on the payment but wont process a refund timely so the claim can be paid out to the new body shop. I am now going on week two with my car at another shop ready because my adjuster cant reissue me payment until they are reimbursed by Caliber Collision. The regional manager refuses to give out his phone number. All around shady business. They tried to push me around saying if I wanted the refund that my insurance company sent that they applied to the wrong claim, they would have to charge me sales tax on a service I never had received. Then it was taken to the corporate level, still nonresponsive. The manager Brian is very rude if you want to take your business elsewhere. The won't be responsive to my insurance company on when the refund will be processed. I am going on three weeks now.. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.. The work they did on my previous claim isn't even that great looking at it now a month later. It was convenient to go to them due to location which I regret ever taking business to this shop. They are seriously worse than a hungry used car salesmen. read more
