Paid for an unlimited revision logo. Lost access to the email account it was originally sent to, asked if they could resend it to new address, they wanted to charge $99 to do so. The guy called back and said "your supposed to be a business man, if you cant afford $99 you can go to hell" then he hung up. We had this company design a logo for us. A couple of months later we asked to design a website. The website we did not accept as is was not up to par. Upon doing so we were called and informed we were no longer allowed to use the logo they created. We would have to pay $399 to register it. We were told this was a one time fee and for life. We paid that , months later they call portraying to be the US patent office stating we must pay $299 to register and get the certificate. After probing we realize it is Branded logo calling. Omgah where to start. I'll try to keep it as brief as possible. If you are considering using this company for anything please reconsider and read on. They are the biggest cheats and liars I've ever dealt with. Being in business for almost 25 years I've dealt with some pretty bad folks but Branded Logos takes the prize. They start off by quoting you a price (in my case a website) and forget to mention all the stuff they mentioned during the sell is extra. Professional content. Oh that's extra. Even though the content was "professionally written", my 14 year old daughter laughed at it and we used all my own verbiage. Although I did get the pleasure of paying for the service. Oh the video they mention, that's extra. Oh all the edits and requests you make they really don't care or understand. Oh and once it's live it's yours. So I paid for that the video (which no one likes) twice like an idiot. And then there's the server for the video. That's not included. So $2500 site ended up around $6k. However the lowest, scummiest, rottenist move they pulled started about a month ago by trying to charge me for the Wordpress update plug in. $400 at the time. When I refused the charge and service it escalated to my site would crash. Few weeks later they wanna do the plug in for $890 or site would crash so I immediately went to log in to change my password. I was too late as it was already changed. Now the site is down and I have no access and they refuse to give me the information unless I pay what is on "special today only" for $590. No site and no business email for a small business is a very bad thing. I'm debating on just counting my losses or handing over this information to my attorney. Would not recommend this company. I wanted a cheap logo for my YouTube channel, and their sale (making the basic 40$) made them a good choice. Upon receiving my designs, I was told there would be an additional 190$ fee to make it copyrighted. Once I said I will not pay this, the guy I was working with hung up the phone. I had my own artwork and thought it would be simple process and safe to use a firm like this to follow through with making my logo and website official. What a mistake!! I asked him to send over the logos in the formats as promised and THEN he promptly asked me for an additional $199 to register a copyright for my new logo. IFRAUD, EXTORTION, THEFT- I have experienced all from this company. They are currently HOLDING MY SITE FOR RAMSON FIR $500. they took my site offline when they realized I was making changes to it) because they quoted me outrageous prices to make simple changes. ( they charged me $150 to update my address) they have attempted to extort money from me 3 times within the last month. $150 (1st) attempting me to copyright with them or my logo would "disappear ") they then changed the password to MY website that I had paid in full for. $500 (2nd) when I pointed my nameservers to GoDaddy - they said that "crashed" my site and it would have to be rebuilt. I paid £499.99 for an Ecommerce website to sell Judaica but all he did was a logo which was computer generated. I went on his UK website, Branded Logos. After providing the logo he refused to answer any emails etc., only when the bank provided the money back. Now he is disputing this and the bank has given the money back to him. So I have no ecommerce Website and lost a lot of money. The UK authorities seem to like to protect him over there, after reporting him, they do nothing. read more

They did not meet their promised deadline initially, and when I pushed them to meet the deadline they provided stock images that had nothing to do with our organization description. I would choose no stars if I could. I needed help with a website redesign and logo help. They started out great. They are very responsive. Then with each step they added a cost they never mentioned. They would tell me the cost to do something was a certain price and then later after we were into the project, they added another layer saying it was absolutely necessary. Do not work with this company unless you want to be paying many extra layers that they don't tell you about with the initial price of the project. BLD will not release or transfer your domain to you regardless of whether or not you feel you are the rightful owner of the company you created. 2. They will attempt to sell you back your own domain at top dollar and will negotiate until you finally agree to a fixed price. They will try to sell you the entire package transfer, which includes your site, logo, domain, and access to your emails. 3. They've accepted your payment and have assured you that they will provide you with the transfer link.......WRONG! This is where they position themselves for their next extortionist scheme. So lets recap all the times they have purposely shut down your site, disabled your emails, asked for logo copyright fees, or made up a reason for you to give them more money like asking for more hosting, bandwidth, and site maintenance fees. Lets not forget that everytime the newest malware or virus hits the streets, they act like you've been infected or are succeptible to infection. If you've been dealing with these frauds for more than 6 months, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. 4. Now, lets talk about turnover. How many account managers have you had? Each of these new hires are sent in with one purpose.....EXTRACTION. They will call you with their latest and greatest scheme to get you to give them something. When you reference any discussions with your previous account manager, they will simply say he made a mistake or was not authorized. By the end of the phone call you are forced to make a decision.....pay them something or shut down your livelihood. Its hard to be a legitimate business when your email is down or your site has purposely been snoozed. You're left with no choice but to pay to play. 5. Let us pick up with what happens when you decide it's over. As I mentioned in paragraph 2 and 3, this is where it really gets messy. The company and brand that you have worked so hard to create is simply held hostage.....which is wrong on any account. You've agreed to pay them for the domain transfer and have been told a link will be provided from name.com to set up an account......NOPE!!! Instead, you get a phone call the next day from "IT", which is just another salesman, stating that while transferring over the domain, an offer has been placed on it by another company which so happens to be in your state. Company protocol says "the site will be available during the transfer phase for a period of 24 hours" and if no bids are received, they will transfer over for the negotiated amount you thought was legitimate. Well, the person making the bid is probably them and this is yet another way to make more money from you before you leave. They go into, "we are running a business bit" but what it really is, is that they have little to no regard for you or your business and could care less if you purchase your domain or not. They know that most small business owners do not have the ability, funds, or resources to rebrand their entire company so they use that against you. 6. The going price for your domain will always be 599-899-1099, something that ends with 99 because its yet another ploy to squeeze out more money from you. Absolutely horrible. I was "upgraded" to a package that included 12 logo designs, unlimited revisions, and stationary and business card headings and 100% ownership rights. Plus expedited processing. Nearly two weeks in, after asking for a phone call on multiple occasions to clarify what I was looking for, I finally decided on a half assessment logo just to get it done and over with so I could order business cards that I desperately needed and they, at this point, decided to "inform" me that I owed them $250 more to have them register my logo. First, who asked you to register my logo? I can do that myself for $35. Second, at what point did you inform me that 100% ownership rights involved another $250?? You didn't! Ever. All I needed them for was to create a higher-res version of an already-created(!) logo and to plug in the name of a second location into basically the SAME logo. There was little to no design involved and we paid for the job. Fast forward a couple years later and they WILL NOT STOP calling to harass me with vaguely threatening calls about being in trouble with their "legal team" if we don't pay them MORE to use their copyright services. On 4/25/18 I started the nightmare of dealing with the Branded logo company. They created a logo for me, with revisions that took about a month and at this point I'm out of $270, dealing with David Meyer from April- July 24th. Then out of the blue in December, Ian starts emailing and texting about the copyright, asking for additional money and threatening to send his people to my address to collect the money. Then Don gets involved and like a fool on Jan. 23rd I pay another $200 because he tells me that this is all I'll have to pay everything will be taking care of after this. Then some other person starts calling me for another $250 for "attestation". I explain to him that I'm not paying anything else. now since it's April John Anderson, the "Google verification" guy, which conveniently sounds just like Don and the previous caller from March, asking for another $250, which I refuse to pay. Then I get an email from Austin Sarkozy stating that they received "notification" from the "US PTO" if I don't pay, they will void the artwork "under federal law" since I did not register the business yet. Well, I don't have nor have I seen any paperwork to submit and they refuse to show it to me. This company is a scam and it cheating people. All I really ever wanted was the logo. all the rest they added and have stolen from me. I want all of my money back and the right to the logo I purchased. In addition, the County DA Jeffery Rosen, and the state Attorney General Becerra need to file a federal lawsuit against this company and get all of these people that have been cheated out of their money, back and more. Paid for a logo design service. They advertise 100% satisfaction guarantee, but I was not satisfied and did not get a refund or did they live up to their 100% guarantee. After changing their account managers and giving me more designers to work on my case, none of which read the details of what I was asking for, so I received poor designs and very little communication beyond a simple short sentence. After 5-6 weeks of leading me on and promising to get me what I need, they eventually stopped emailing back. It was a very wasteful, terrible experience with poor quality, poor communication, and a scammy-run business. Not at all satisfied. Poor creativity and less integrity I hired Branded Logo Designs much to my despair and regret. The first round of logos were mediocre and seemed like they just copied prior versions from other clients, some were so generic that I could swear having seen them in other places. They finally managed to produce a logo only after significant input and hand holding from me (I had to give them some pretty basic feedback like "reduce the line thickness or it is going to print poorly over canvas or other materials"). They were quick to promise powerpoint and doc templates but could not deliver (I even had to send them a link to microsoft help but seems like they don't know how to follow directions). After completion of the project I kept getting calls from them offering other services, which I politely declined given the bad experience, until one day, an account manager by the name of David Myer called me to inform that they owned my logo copyright and could not guarantee proper use of it unless I paid $150 to transfer the ownership! I had purchased a logo design package which included ownership of the logo, this was also stated in their website terms and conditions but David argued that my prior account manager should have told me that "100% ownership" meant one year right to the logo and that the web site Terms and Conditions were wrong, that their policy had changed, yada yada. When I asked to talk to his manager or even better the owner, David dared to compare the owner to Matt Zuckenberg and indicated that he would never talk to me for such a small dispute! This is matter of integrity, not of a few dollars! I finally negotiated a price and got my letter with official transfer of ownership of the logo, which by the way is poorly drafted although David indicated that the cost would cover the fee of pretty expensive intelectual property attorneys working for them Do yourself a favor and commision your logo design to a more professional company read more
