Cowboy Breakfast, hashbrowns, scrambled, Chicken Fried Steak, Grits & Pancakes

Came here to visit a friend, was pleasantly surprised, I love to support mom/pop places, and it did not disappoint. Customer service was what to be expected, somewhat friendly someone country, but was efficiently taken care of even by the 2nd server because the 1st had asked me to cash out so she can leave......Younger generation, the food was pretty darn good w/ the exception of the Grits, not sure what was up with that, but over all pretty good. Loved seeing the locals old/young coming in and just living it up. No phones, just conversation and good company.

Excellent country style breakfast! It is exactly what my husband and I were looking for!

Friendly small spot. We stopped in after church and the place was almost full but no wait. Which, in my book, is great! My husband and I both ordered the cowboy breakfast. My older son ordered the southwest salad. My youngest ordered a burger. Th burger looked really nice and I was told it was good. We're weren't given a kids meal but the burger and tots seemed to be decent for him. The service was pretty friendly and fast. You can sit where you want and the place was full but we weren't overlooked or forgotten about. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because my husband and I ordered the same thing and all of my food was over cooked while his was all golden and looked appetizing. I was looking forward to hash browns but these were too hard and crunchy for me. Otherwise, it's a friendly little diner that's close by!

There aren't many good "diner" type places around the metroplex. So we decided to ride our motorcycles out to Decatur for an early morning breakfast before the Texas sun melted us in July. As usual, I relied on my fellow Yelpers to lead the way with good reviews of Brandi's. Y'all didn't disappoint us. This is a good ole fashioned country diner on one the square of Decatur. The bonus is sitting across the street with a great view of one of the best county courthouses in this state. Pretty simple menu but nothing simple about the service and the quality of food. The coffee never ran out and our waitress stopped by checking on us even with a packed (well half full due to Covid) house. I had the biscuit with eggs, potatoes and gravy on top. I came close to licking the plate clean. That gravy was really good. Never tried the other plates my buddies had but they never complained and cleaned their plates as well. All in all...great place to stop by and good food at a very good price!

What a neat find. We came here to eat with our family today. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff and seated. Both our drink orders and meal orders were taken and received in a timely fashion. The temperature of the food was good. And it tasted good. We would certainly be back when visiting near this town again.

It was a rare beautiful day in December and chose to sit on the nice porch. The server was right there and grabbed our drink orders first. She recommended the fried pickles so we got those to start. Loved the fried pickles. Plenty of them and great crispy texture, Along with just tasted good. I chose the mushroom onion burger and substituted onion rings. Only a $1.99 upcharge. I was hoping it would taste as good as it looked when she brought it out. It did! Those onion rings were huge Abe cooked perfectly! The burger was cooked well and tasted good. My only minor complaint is I hate it when a bun overshadows the burger patty. Make the patty slightly bigger. But it tasted really good! I'll come back here again!

We had coffees that were typical diner coffee and pretty good. We ordered the chorizo burrito, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and the skillets. It was all hot fresh and very good. I'll be honest, I've never even heard of tzatziki on an omelette, but I'm here to tell you... I'm here for it! You want a Gyro meat omelette, cooked to absolute perfection, a 1/2 a mile high, with Gyro meat in it... and tzatziki sauce too? If this is your flavor profile, this place is worth the drive! In the words of my wife, and to the waitress and the owner... this is the Best omelette I have ever had! They also have three pool tables and TVs. The menu is extensive and the prices reasonable for BBQ. Seems like a favorite of the locals. I though they would be playing C&W, but they had 60's and 70's music on. The squeeze and I split a two meat plate with brisket and sausage and two sides, cowboy cole slaw and Rooster Tails (Deep fried onion petals). The brisket was moist and very tender, with a slight smokiness. The sausage was deeply smoked, sliced in half and charred a bit on the flattop. The slaw and Rooster Tails were really good. A nice slightly spicy dip was served with the onions. Good BBQ sauce for the brisket, and they also had a wall of pain with some choice hot sauces on it. I didn't partake, since I have a flight to catch in the morning. They brought a second plate for no charge. The squeeze had a canned IPA and I had a Shiner Bock draft for libations. We really enjoyed the meal. Morgan was an excellent server and didn't try to shoo us out even though more customers were coming in. Not a lot of "atmosphere" per se. Drinks were ordered and delivered promptly. Breakfast order took a minute; there seemed to be some confusion over which server was taking our table. BIL ordered one of the local breakfasts with all the usual: eggs, grits, toast, bacon. I opted for the veggie omelet with home fries and toast. Order took no time to be delivered. BIL finished his, and mine was the perfect portion. I hate having leftovers but this was not an overstuffed omelet, so I made short work of it. Home fries were a bit bland, but veggies in omelet were just right. Getting out of here was a challenge. Once food was delivered, we were able to watch servers talking while our drinks ran dry, and getting the check took a minute. It was good, reasonably priced and no leftovers gives it the 4-stars instead of 3, but once I'm done with breakfast, I have things to do, so no 5-stars on this one.
