So, this was my very first visit and I got my nails and toes done.... I did not like the lady who did my nails because she kept messing up, the paint job looks a mess and it took longer than I expected....the worst part is after I've brought it up to the head of the store, he still made me pay full price and told me to come back later.... Today was my first time there. Ryan did my nails beautifully and worked fast. The elder lady did my pedicure and my feet feels like a neborn baby's foot...amazing. The only thing that prevented me from putting 5 stars was the process...I got there at 11am and left at 2pm. I felt like because I did my feet it delayed my nails and I got lost in the shuffle. It could be a simple fix if a different process is put in place for customers getting multiple services. There should definitely be a "NO KIDS" policy unless the child is also having a mani/pedi. People go to a nail salon to relax away from the daily stresses of life, when peiple bring stress to the shop, it ruins the experience. Overall, I will visit again and hope for a better atmosphere. Ryan is definitely my new nail tech, but I don't mind trying the other techs as they all seem to do great work. read more

I went to this salon for the first time this past weekend. Online, it says this place opens @ 8:30am. I arrived @ 9am on Saturday morning & had to double check the address as the gates was down & the salon was closed. I I noticed 3 females standing in front of the salon, but I'm not from this area so I wasn't sure if maybe they were waiting on the bus or waiting on the salon to open. I decided to park just in case. There's only on the street parking so I parked about 2 stores down. It was raining pretty hard out so I was a bit reluctant about getting out of the car just yet. Then someone pulled into the parking space behind me & she got out & stood on the side near the other ladies. I got out & asked her if she was waiting on them to open, she said yes & that it was her 1st time there also. After standing in the rain for another 15 minutes, someone finally arrived @ 9:40am to open the salon while apologizing for being late. Since this was my 1st time here, I decided to keep it simple & get a gel mani & regular pedi. I was seen immediately as the salon quickly began to fill up. The lady who helped me was quick, efficient & gentle. I noticed the pedi area growing more & more crowded as there was no one there yet doing pedicures. Luckily the lady that was doing my mani ended up doing my feet as well. Again she was gentle, neat & the massage chair was relaxing. By the time she was almost done, 2 workers finally came in to do pedicures in which they started on customers who were just finishing up with their mani's so the ppl waiting to get their feet done had to wait even longer‍I would've been annoyed. Overall, I was happy with my service. The lady did a great job. Idk if being late is a regular occurrence. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since it was storming outside. The prices aren't bad. I ended paying $42 for everything. After seeing other people's nails, next time I'll get tips with a design. They seem to know what they're doing. This place fills up quickly so I would recommend getting there early. read more

Ten stars. It was my first time at this establishment. I'm very particular about my nails, which are always long. Sometimes you go to these Asian spots and they don't care how you say you want done to your nails, they rush thru the job and talk smack about you. Not this place. Jayne did my nails and was very receptive to my nail requests. She was VERY sweet and friendly. The establishment was swept and clean. My nails turned out wonderful. I just recently moved to New Jersey. I was scared to try a new place but I saw it while driving by and gave it a chance. Jen was AMAZING. I was waiting for about 2-3 minutes before she sat me at her chair. Every step she asked if I like it, which I really appreciated. She was just so sweet. AMAZING customer service!!! DON'T GO HERE !!!! went here to get my eyebrows done and this Hispanic lady did my eyebrows zigzag..they where so messed up it looked like a wiggly line then I call the own over and he fixes it but now my eyebrow is thin af looking like the 90s. I tend to refrain from bad reviews but I know this will save someone. I was greeted and informed by an older Asian man that I needed a fill-in. He said, "Okay, "do you want a pedicure?" I said, "No". Two customers came in after me and were seated right away for the same service. I asked the same man why I was not seated right away and out of nowhere an obnoxious loud younger Asian man comes up and starts yelling about how he didn't see me. I pointed out and got confirmation from the older Asian man and customer that I had been waiting. Customer service and decorum do not exist. Instead of him apologizing right away, he assumed I was going to get out of character like he did but absolutely not. He was extremely rude and speaking down to me instead of fixing his mistake. From watching his behaviors it looks like he is the owner. He has a vile sense of ownership but as mentioned before this place lacks class. I walked into kids running around, yelling, and other alarming behavior. My nails are decent. If you are a custom to an upscale establishment, please refrain from patronizing. If you need something open until 9 pm, bring headphones and park close. The location should have been a warning but I tried to give it a chance. Also, the swiftness of how they do pedicures are alarming. It's worth paying the extra money to go somewhere with professionals and by appointment only. read more

I came to Brandon initially after looking at the reviews and photos on Yelp. I came on a Thursday waited about 15 mins for a tech my sister went to Kevin i was placed with a lady didn't get her name. She flies the nails down then i guess she couldn't do what i asked for so i was sent to Nick. He did ok i explained i work with my hands a lot he said he would make the acrylic "thicker" i let him finish the set they looked ok not what asked for but i guess what they could with what they had. The nails were shaped bad and thick then they popped off went back 2 days later to fix one nail waited an hour for Brandon to fix and he did better but not what my set had. By the following week i had 6 nails come off and went to get them fixed and was charged 40$ to do a whole new set Wow. Now a week later i have a broken nail with and ok set still was not pleased i tried to have good faith but I'm at a loss how i was charged again to re do his mistake not returning to even fix the broken nail read more

2 stars is generous considering what I just went through. Literally walking out of this place and it was a one and done for me. So I came here based off google reviews and requested Ryan who came up frequently. Sat down immediately (it was early, barely any customers waiting). Ryan asked me, "gel or powder?" I said Gel. Brandon (manicurist next to us) said show a photo. I did and Ryan tells me it's powder. No problem. He proceeds with powder. He chooses this peachy color I assumed was just the base. I haven't done acrylics in a decade so im new to this. During the nail prep he was very rough, clipped me with the nail file drill machine several times. I have 2 cuts on my finger from it. After he bases all my nails with this peachy color, I see him begin to prepare for the design I wanted. I stopped him and asked where the color I wanted was. He looks at me like this is the color. I bring up the photo again so he can see it's absolutely the wrong color. Ryan tosses the gel polish sample nail packs in front of me and tells me to choose a color. See had I known that peachy color was the actual color I would've stopped him early. I can see that he was annoyed which is insane because he chose that powder, not me! So now that the powder was a waste of time he goes right over it with gel polish and completes the design which was just ok. The finished product had several flaws, not smooth, polish and acrylic on my skin, acrylic on the sides and underside of my nails, and my nails were just way too thick. Please do not go here. I recently moved to East Orange and this was my second time coming here and I thought I really like the spot. I had showed them a specific photo with a 3-D acrylic image that they agreed they would be able to do. Im sorry but these people people that work here care way more about feeling chairs and making money when they do their own clients. I waited until they opened at 9:30 AM. I went called and was told I could come in. So when I get there I explain to them that I am taking off my nails and I'm getting an acrylic set. So they have me sit and wait because there are a few other women ahead of me. No problem. I noticed more and more time keep passing by until they finally decided to put me in a chair and soak off my nails with acetone. Not only did it take them forever to put me in a chair to soak my nails off, but The same man who was supposedly taken care of me with the acetone wanna head and took another client and decided to work on her whole acrylic leaving me there in the acetone for another hour drying out my hands. When I finally decided to say something I was handed a nail file with expectations to file off the rest of my acrylic. This place was unbelievable. I wish I could rate this place a 0! I came here, showed them exactly what I wanted. I wanted one nail to say 9 and the other to say 7 in a script type of font. The font was very simple to do & I even showed the man a picture and left it in front of him, however, he did what HE wanted. The number 9 was supposed to have a diamond shape instead of a circle. The man wrote the numbers on my nails the way HE would do it on a piece of paper. He had a lady try to do it but she did the number 9 slanted and didn't do the 7 correctly either, so at that point, I asked the manager to take the numbers off and paint it all one color. I then noticed that my middle finger nail was very bulky and the manager proceeded to tell me it's not his fault that I didn't tell the man to fix it. I told him I didn't notice before because I was too busy looking at how horrible the numbers looked. He kept trying to convince me that he can't fix the nail for me. Do not come and waste your money. Showing them what you want is a waste of time because they won't be able to do it. Every person around me had a complaint about their nails. I am upset because these were supposed to be my birthday nails. I can understand if he didn't know how to do what I wanted but I would've appreciated if he told me that so I could've showed him other options. I ended up leaving with all one color nails and I am highly dissatisfied. For me to be spending MY money, it shouldn't matter how many times they have to fix it. I need my money's worth and didn't get it. I don't need a response from the owner because if y'all deserve a bad rating, that's what you're gonna get because I'm not gonna let people go thinking it's a gonna be a good experience. read more
