Nice place with good food and great service. We shared the Irish Nachos with brisket, brisket sliders that came with tater tots and beer cheese to dip in and a bowl of French Onion soup. All were tasty. The brisket was a little on the fatty side and the nachos were pretty plain but the chips were fresh and crispy. The soup was great. The service was really good although we were there for lunch when they just opened so it wasn't busy at all and the bartender was also our waitress. Very sweet. The interior is very clean and appears to be newly renovated, very nice. They offered outdoor seating but I was expecting something a little nicer than the few tables they had near the entrance that I thought might be for waiting with something nicer on the other side but that was it so we opted for inside. Overall 3.5 stars for the food and 4.5 for the ambiance and service. read more

So, yeah. This is an okay joint serving overpriced, soul-numbingly mediocre food with strong high school cafeteria vibes. Staff is nice enough. The adequate chicken riggies were the highlight of the evening, stealing the honors from the $27 steak we ordered rare (see photo). Nothing surprising here, though. The Fairhaven-Oswego area is a restaurant desert of Gobi-like proportions. If you're having suicidal thoughts, please don't decide to think about it over a meal anywhere in Cayuga county. Awesome live music on Saturdays and Sundays! We were in the area looking for somewhere to eat and came across this restaurant. The food was good and the live music was excellent. The singer had a beautiful voice. The restaurant is on the smaller side. With a bar in the center. Probably best to call ahead especially for the weekend. Our party of three enjoyed the food. The house wing sauce was delicious. Definitely recommend. Overall a solid choice for dinner. read more

I stopped in here for dinner on a Saturday night after enjoying the nearby winery. We made a reservation which was good since it was pretty busy! They had live acoustic music which was great and the volume wasn't too loud. We were also able to park right across the street and walk over. The food was good, I found the entrees a little expensive, but the sandwiches were reasonable. I will say that they got someone at my table's order wrong for their burger, but it was still good and the person just removed the toppings that were incorrect. Our waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was casual and fun. I'd recommend a stop in overall. read more

Stopped here for fish dinner Friday night with a good friend who suggested this place. We had great fish dinner meals. Very generous portion of haddock with fries and coleslaw. Delicious new discovery on our visit to Fair Haven! Very pleased . The beverage selection was extensive . The beer selections and the wine too very satisfying! Our only regret was we devoured our meals with no room for the tempting desserts. We will return next time with a plan to eat half the meal to save room for dessert!! read more

We rolled in on a beautiful warm Friday evening and had a great time! We both ordered fish, mine was beer battered, and my partner ordered broiled. The beer battered fish was just out of this world, and the macaroni salad and clam chowder were equally tasty. Sitting in the corner we were able to take it all in, and greatly enjoyed watching the regulars come into the bar and greet each other while we were there. Another couple sat down at the table next to us and we struck up a brief friendly conversation about the specials. Everything was outstanding and we look forward to coming back to Fair Haven in the near future to stop by again! read more

During my recent visit to Oswego, NY, a colleague recommended this pub and grill. 5 of us went and had one of the best dinners I've had at any restaurant in a long time. To start, the waitress was very down to earth and attentive, she checked on us often and made sure we were well taken care of, and the chef came out to say thank you and ask us if everything was ok. When the food came out, it was all she wrote. Everyone ranted about how good their food was. I had the Brandon Delmonico. It was spectacular.. which .. for me to say that about a steak is a big deal. I don't really eat it that ofen. But I know how I like it to taSte. It almost tasted as if it was literally melting in my mouth. This pub is a must do if you are ever in Oswego, NY. read more

The place is still in business for a small town so being on vacation really makes getting something simple or enough to feed a family of 6. They are seating inside and outside. Masks are required for any movements through the establishment. Required for going to the bathroom. Once you hit your table you may take it off. Though they wear masks you can still sense their smiles! Great costumer service skills and hospitality. I recommend Brandon's to whoever is and isn't picky. read more

After a long hike we happened across Brandon's Pub and Grille. We wanted to find a place with good burgers and we sure found it! We ordered the Black Jack burger, essentially a fully loaded (i.e., bacon, onion straws, bbq sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion) burger. Firstly, the burger was excellent, slightly overcooked, but still excellent. My husband also had the same burger and he also loved it. Do yourself a favor and get the homemade chips, they are heavenly. Lastly, I'm not sure where they get their buns from but honestly I was so impressed at how well it held the burger. Especially such a substantial burger! The bun wasn't the shining star, but definitely an added bonus. Highly recommend this place, great atmosphere, great service, and great location. read more

So we took a day trip up from Syracuse to visit the Fairhaven Park. Stopped here for lunch. Food was great. I had the Chicken Riggies and was the best I've ever had. My family had the wings, Calamari and quesadillas. Everything was great and the staff was friendly and fast. We definitely recommend visiting. read more

If you think you want to go here......I would go to the ice cream place across the street instead. Food sucked, service was terrible and the manager was getting a foot rub at the bar and gave me attitude. My son's meal was cold and raw. My bread on my sandwich was doughy and waitress lied about what was on it. My dad who eats everything finished less than 1/2 his meal. When we complained, our waitress rolled her eyes and walked away. my 9 year old said "She has an attitude". It was very expensive for the quality and they didn't tell me there was a charge for using my credit card and then the manager gave me attitude when I question why my bill was more expensive from the time I gave them my credit card to when the bill came back. And I had our Novelis discount card and apparently from when it was printed to now the discount changed. I will NEVER eat there ever again. They only gave me 10% off my meal Instead of what was printed on the discount of 10% the entire bill. read more
