It's so cute inside. Very aesthetic

This location is down the street from an outdoor mall. Parking is a bit challenging because it's a main shopping area in Walnut Creek filled with brand named stores and 3-5 star restaurants. The merchandise is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the clothes seems okay. I honestly think customers just love the Brandy Melville brand. While we shopped, I noticed a lot of cropped t-shirts with "New York" printed on them and expensive boy shorts ($18?) Found some sweaters but they were over $30. Everything I found were in earthy colors. I'm a mom of a teenage girl and she loves this store. She wears a size 0 to 1 so she always finds something to buy. As for me, I usually stick to the accessories and cute tote bags. One thing about the tote bags, they're super thin yet very fashionable. I bought a cute beanie today for $15. Cute store for teens, not so much for the anyone who wears anything over a size 7 in jeans. The only con: We waited in line for about 20 minutes. The pros: The cashiers were friendly and I love the the aesthetics inside, especially the led lights on the ceiling.

I was in WC for the weekend and my 16 year old shops online for BM clothing. I did a FaceTime so she could virtually shop with me. I will say a few things she saw online weren't in the store so we scratched that idea and just found things in the store. As a parent, I had no idea it was one size fits almost all (teens). Keep that in mind when shopping there. I also bought what I thought was a heart necklace which turned out to be a bracelet, but it's because the jewelry is near the checkout counter and everyone is looking at it while also trying to check out. The store was a little hard for me to navigate through, being petite in height so I was happy the staff could help. It does look like they could use a few more hands as there's so much inventory there and it's just not manageable with the few hands on deck. I wish we had this store near us in the Frederick, MD area. We could use it for sure and the kids would be so excited!

Workers are so nice and helpful! The brand is a bit "iffy" but the clothes are really good quality and good pricing.

I never felt rushed, had plenty of options to choose from, and found everything I was looking for, plus a few things I didn't know I needed. My only disappointment was at checkout. After purchasing nearly $1,000 worth of clothing, my items were placed into the bag without much care. In the past, my Aritzia purchases have been carefully folded and wrapped in tissue paper, which always made the experience feel more special. I wish that same attention to detail had been given this time. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would happily return. A little more care with packaging would have been the perfect ending to an otherwise great shopping experience.

No one offered me a fitting room or asked if I needed help while shopping, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. When I went to return the tops I ordered online, I was incorrectly told that my items did not qualify for a refund because the return window had supposedly passed, even though I had received the order that same day. The cashier repeatedly insisted I was ineligible for a refund until she eventually realized it was a mistake, yet no apology was offered for the confusion or inconvenience. For a company that prides itself on a semi-luxury customer service, the experience felt dismissive and disappointing. As a person of color, the interaction left me feeling especially overlooked and undervalued as a customer. Not worth the price and headache!

After standing in a long line to the cashier, I asked the lady cashier for a stock check because the shirt I got had loose threads and no other size on the rack. She found one and they need to get it from the stockroom, which would take additional 5-10min. She gave me instructions to pick up the item at the front of the store, on the Collections rack. I thought I could purchase the shirt and wait for it at the front...but no she sent me away. (I didn't understand why I had to leave the cashier after waiting in a long line, pick up the item I was trying to purchase at the front door area, then go back to the cashier again to purchase the item. What a weird process! Never experienced this with other stores.) I had to reiterate, that I just lined up for 10min and I don't want to have to line up AGAIN. She said, "no, you don't line up again. Just go to the side(front of cashier), and WE'LL take you IN FRONT of the line." Ok, I thought that was fair. I left and waited another 5min-10min for the replacement shirt. Walked back to the side of the cashier, front of the line. There was a different cashier, 1 person in line for purchase, and 1 person to the right at Return/Exchange line. The Cashier didn't acknowledge me when he saw me(like "do you have any question, or I'll be right with you.."). When he finished with a customer, I approached the cashier, explained that I picked up the item from stock and I was told to come back to the front of the line. Then he told me with an attitude that,"you just got here and I need to help the person in line." I further explained that I was at the cashier earlier, but was told to leave to pick up the stock and return to the front of the line. He said, with an eye roll, "well, I didn't tell you that." So I stood in line again, and waited for the 3rd time! When he finished with the customer, he wouldn't assist me, and called the other person in line for returns, avoiding me. So I stepped closer again to the cashier, asking for assistance. He moved away from me to use the other cash register, took the other customer, and told me why he wouldn't assist me, "I don't like your attitude." I was surprised..and I answered back, "you don't need to like my attitude, but you guys should know how to follow your "OWN PROCESS AND PROCEDURES." (It's ashamed that you employ a person who can't deliver professional service, who needs more training to follow Zara's OWN process!!!) Maybe if I was instructed to go back in line after waiting for the replacement stock, I would've decided then if: 1-it was worth the wait to go back in line again 2-additional wait time for a replacement stock 3-or purchase the shirt I originally lined up for, but live with the poor quality of loose threads on the seams and collar. I would've went back in line, in peace, and not be harassed by your own employee. No wonder, you guys have 1.5stars on YELP! It's embarrassing. If more customers shopped online, you're jeopardizing the dying practice of professional customer service, and corporate could close down the store, and jobs would be on the line. I'm in customer service so I know how it is to properly treat a paying customer.

Embarrassing and unacceptable experience…read more I had a very disappointing experience at Zara on February 6th around 1:05 PM. My husband purchased a men's jacket for $140.93. He shops at Zara often, so this was a normal visit. After paying, we were given our bag and left the store--but the alarm went off. We immediately stopped and cooperated. Instead of handling it professionally, a staff member approached us in a very rude and accusatory way. We went back to the register, where the cashier confirmed we had paid and printed our receipt. Even after that, the same employee continued to raise her voice, called security, and there was even a police officer present. It was extremely embarrassing. People were staring, and we were treated like we had stolen something--even with proof of purchase. It honestly felt like we were being profiled, which made the situation even worse. To top it off, my husband was told he was banned from the store, despite being a loyal customer. I've worked in retail for over 15 years, and this is not how situations like this should be handled. There's a respectful and professional way to approach customers, and this was not it. We still have our receipt, and management should review the cameras from that time. Very disappointing experience. An apology would go a long way.
