The food was not good at all. I ordered eggs. They were ok. I had scrapple that came out over cooked. I sent it back and it came out better, but it didn't taste good. I sent it back and asked for bacon. The bacon wasn't good. Their home fries were mashed Potatoes and they fried them. Not good. I didn't eat much of my food. I left it. My apple juice was good. My server was very accommodating and nice. That's the 1 star. I won't be back here.

We had a group of approximately 35 walk in on them after a baseball game ... they were extremely accommodating, set tables together so we all could eat together ... the food was hot fresh and surprisingly fast. I had a ny strip cooked medium well with Brussels Sprouts. Cook perfectly and the Brussels sprouts were tender . My son wanted chocolate chips pancakes with sausage. We had 14 different bills and the handled it professionally and with expertise.... And the desserts .... Wow ... so was the coffee ... just great !!!! Don't pass this one up ... Alex the owner made sure we were happy and Dominic one of our serves held the attention of the boys while he did his job !! Great people and great food

French toast, apples, bacon, sausage, and potatoes.

The diner is sizable with a nice atmosphere. The entrance and waiting area is a nice size also. The dessert counter is nice as well. We stopped in for breakfast. The parking lot and most tables were full. We waited maybe 5 minutes to be seated. The diner was extremely busy, the kitchen was a little backed up, but they worked it out. We ordered eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, cream chipped beef, toast, English muffin, and coffee. Everything came out piping hot and cooked as requested (to perfection). The server had many tables and managed to provide good service. If ever in the area again I will sure stop by to have a meal.

Corned Beef Hash with scrambled eggs

Despite the fairly low reviews, I decided to give Brandywine Diner a chance for breakfast due to the nearby hotel I was staying at not having a breakfast option. I ordered the Two Egg Meal (scrambled) with Corned Beef Hash. I immediately realized my toast was missing and I was so disappointed in both the presentation and flavor of the meal. The eggs were your standard dinner scrambled quality (unseasoned, textureless) but what really caught me off guard was the corned beef hash. It looked like it had been plopped straight out of a container into my to go box, and was very unappealing too look at. The hash browns were also flavorless and seemed a bit watered down somehow. The only area I will give a star to is that the quantity of food was pretty good for the price. Overall, I would not recommend breakfast here. Even though the restaurant seemed packed on a Saturday morning, it was definitely not to my standards (especially for such a basic and easy breakfast to master!) Will not be back the next time I'm in Wilmington. Price: 4/5 Flavor: 1/5 Value: 2/5

We went here in 2022 while traveling with our youth group. I had a seafood dish and was satisfied as was our entire group. The waitress was very friendly and talked with us while she made sure we had everything we needed. At the end of the meal she told us the bill had been taken care of. She paid our bill which was probably more than she would have made all night. I don't know what moved her we had a few kids who did have much money because it was the end of our trip but no one told her. I will never forget this experience.

Brandywine Diner, Wilmington, DE. Different cheesesteak #1124 in the last five years. I'm a diner fan. Pickle, little cup of coleslaw and a side, gotta love it. I went to Brandywine diner with low expectations. On the menu in the Panini & wraps section I saw a cheesesteak wrap. I asked if they could make me a cheesesteak panini. Without hesitation, the waitress said yes. It had a lot of flavor. I forgot how much I like Ciabatta bread. All things considered this was a good stop.

There are better dinners in the area, wouldn't personally recommend. Food was not great, service was subpar.

The food came out a little slow though but worth it. Starters: Brussel Sprouts: 5/5 delicious and made well. The skin lightly fried but not charred. Rib rolls: 4/5 The shredded short ribs could be a bit more moist and flavorful but pairs very well the horseradish aioli. Chicken Alfredo: 5/5 likely on the of the best Alfredo I have had. This takes me to Wilmington, the largest city in Delaware where I had the opportunity to try out "Opa Opa". Located at the Village of Trolley Square strip mall and adjacent to Delaware Ave & N. Clayton St., this place has been serving up delicious Greek food dating back to 2015. I came here with my lady during the afternoon of Friday 10/10/2025 at around 2:45pm. The interior is bright, spacious, ample room for dining in, and pays homage to the blue and white Greek colors. Additionally, there are several art pieces that represent some of the more popular Greek destinations. Sodas, water, and other various beverages are available in a refrigerator across from the register/counter area. Since I was very hungry (and on my way north to Philadelphia), I decided to go with something that will carry me through the rest of the afternoon. I finally decided on their "Chicken Gyro Platter" w/fries. My lady went with their "Grilled Chicken Greek Salad". We didn't get any drinks as our waters is all we needed to enjoy our lunch. Both of our meals are ready in just under 7 minutes while everything is presented to us in a quick and timely manner. I do have to say that if you're starving, this is the place to come! My gyro was a very generous portion that offered huge chucks of seasoned chicken. In fact, the chicken to veggie ratio was 2:1 as they did not skimp on the protein. My pita bread that encased this was warm and made each bite very savory. The fries were also made well; crispy yet soft on the inside. And as you can see from the photo, the salad that my lady got was also huge. As I mentioned, come hungry and you will leave very full. All in all, "Opa Opa" was a very pleasant surprise as Wilmington offers a lot of ethnic food in all directions. This place also offers very generous hours as they are opened for business Monday through Saturday from 10:30am-10:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am-9:00pm. With above average customer service, a spacious inside dining area, reasonable prices, and generous food portions, this place earns a perfect five-star rating from me.

I came for their "Super Tuesday" deal, which included the Gyro Platter with fries for just $9.95.
