a food truck with a menu on the side

Semo's is a food truck on the corner of Jefferson and Delaware Ave, serving Greek/Middle Eastern favorites like gyros and falafel as well as hamburgers, fries, and other traditional fare. If you are looking for something cheap and delicious but don't really care about the healthiness, this is definitely the place to go! The gyros are tasty and overflowing, the pitas are solid and the sauces are wonderful, albeit sloppy. It can get crowded around noon, and since there are only two of them, it isn't the fastest food around, but it is most definitely worth it.

Love this little unassuming food truck which we affectionately call "the meat truck". Food always good, you can get a great and filling meal for under $7. I always get the chicken over rice or chicken gyro. I've had the lamb which is also good. Order ahead if it don't want to wait in the cold. Service is always fast though, even at noon rush you never wait more than 10minutes. Great place for lunch or take out. No seating around cart.

Chicken gyro-lots of veggies and chicken! I use a fork to eat it!

The meat is dry and stale. If you have eaten in NYC halal carts you will not definitely like it. The white sauce is salty.

This takes me to Wilmington, the largest city in Delaware where I had the opportunity to try out "Opa Opa". Located at the Village of Trolley Square strip mall and adjacent to Delaware Ave & N. Clayton St., this place has been serving up delicious Greek food dating back to 2015. I came here with my lady during the afternoon of Friday 10/10/2025 at around 2:45pm. The interior is bright, spacious, ample room for dining in, and pays homage to the blue and white Greek colors. Additionally, there are several art pieces that represent some of the more popular Greek destinations. Sodas, water, and other various beverages are available in a refrigerator across from the register/counter area. Since I was very hungry (and on my way north to Philadelphia), I decided to go with something that will carry me through the rest of the afternoon. I finally decided on their "Chicken Gyro Platter" w/fries. My lady went with their "Grilled Chicken Greek Salad". We didn't get any drinks as our waters is all we needed to enjoy our lunch. Both of our meals are ready in just under 7 minutes while everything is presented to us in a quick and timely manner. I do have to say that if you're starving, this is the place to come! My gyro was a very generous portion that offered huge chucks of seasoned chicken. In fact, the chicken to veggie ratio was 2:1 as they did not skimp on the protein. My pita bread that encased this was warm and made each bite very savory. The fries were also made well; crispy yet soft on the inside. And as you can see from the photo, the salad that my lady got was also huge. As I mentioned, come hungry and you will leave very full. All in all, "Opa Opa" was a very pleasant surprise as Wilmington offers a lot of ethnic food in all directions. This place also offers very generous hours as they are opened for business Monday through Saturday from 10:30am-10:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am-9:00pm. With above average customer service, a spacious inside dining area, reasonable prices, and generous food portions, this place earns a perfect five-star rating from me.

if i am being honest 3.5 stars would be better…read more now let's start with the good part. the gyro is delicious! I went out of my way to come here for lunch after i saw a facebook post from the cheese steak adventures's guy pop up! it was from a while ago but i figured if he liked it... why not? the pita is really good. chewy. warm and moist. i got the classic (more to come) which is basically a gyro with the fixin's. lamb and fries tzsatiki. perfect. now let's move on to the staff and the restaurant overall. there are so many things wrong. the website will not let you honor several of the lunch specials. if you click on certain links they're no good. dont try to use them, since you will get to the restaurant and they will charge you for whatever the order would have been. i mean i want to save two bucks like everyone else. next, i'm going to agree with the many other reviews... why in the world can you NOT get sauce on the side if you pay for it? do they not have any lil cups?! i looked around this place is pretty cut and dry. i know it sounds like BS but i think they dont have those lil tiny cups. ...then there is the staff. i want so badly for them to hire the 'local lady who answers the phone'. they need it in the worst way. the guy who picks up is as fun as paint drying. it's a huge turn off for folks who know the food is good but the staff is not. will i be back... ?you damn right. but i am going to avoid a bunch of things from the jump: i'm only ordering online, if there is an upsell for sides and they do not have them i will just ask for my money back. they use toast for their ordering system and they will honor refunds if need be, and park around back. they have 2 spaces, the staff is using them too! i really hope things turn around in this location. they are not in philly anymore. it's the 'burbs baby!

Gave it one more shot today but I seriously doubt I will be back. The manager himself acted like…read moreit's too hard to go to the back of the store(which is how he put it) and fill in a very small amount of feta spread in a mini cup, even though I paid two extra dollars for it, like he was being inconvenienced . He also had to for whatever reason try and make a point that, if I got it on the side. He made sure I knew that he was only gonna do it this time. Like, whatever already. lol In the past, this was not an issue. Also, there's an option to get your fries on the side instead of in the pita and he literally gave three french fries in a bag separate. (granted, I'm not expecting obviously a whole bag of fries but come on.) Out of the past three or four times they've forgotten many things in my food and I haven't really said anything(because the employees were actually nice at the time, but not the owner tonight), and this is ridiculous now. Oh, and they got my appetizer wrong tonight. I asked for FETA Mini Phyllo Pies. They got it completely wrong and gave me spinach. If the manager/owner wasn't so rude then I wouldn't be so upset right now especially since I let them slide so many times.

The roll was good and the au jus was on point, one of the best french dips I have ever had. They definitely toast their own beef so anything with beef should be good. All of the food we had was great and everything I saw around us looked excellent. Definitely a great option for breakfast or lunch. The fries were also really good and the avocado chicken wrap seems to be one of their most popular items. The service was great and it was a nice , clean dining area with clean rest rooms. Definitely enjoyed the hash browns with a breakfast order , super crispy on the outside and very good. All the breakfast options looked excellent and the Benedict options look really appealing. I will be trying the Reuben next time so look for the future updates.
