Service was very prompt - but at times felt like they were trying to be helpful but keep us moving so they could get another sitting (we are in and out plenty fast - something they didn't know about us). What has happened to Opa? This used to be one of my favorite places, but when I recently brought an out-of-town guest, I was honestly embarrassed by the quality of the gyros. The meat was shredded, overcooked, dry, and lacked any real flavor other than grease. It reminded me more of something you'd get from a food truck than from a restaurant I used to love. I'm not sure what's changed, but unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. I truly hope this was just an off day because I'd love to see Opa return to the quality it used to have. read more

Just terrible. The food is awful. How does this place charge these prices for slop? The "lasagna" is basically pasta plus cheese sauce. The service is wonky too. I advise you not to go there with a larger party. Their disorganization caused so many issues including people not getting the food they ordered, the server rushing us (giving us 1st and 2nd course before even asking a drink order) and the person who set it up the dinner getting charged an exorbitant amount of money due to all the miscommunications. I've been to Opa a few times and it's always a mixed experience. This time wasn't so great but there were some highlights! All the drinks were delicious. They came out quickly and were so unique! The opa chips are always a favorite and the Pikilia Spread was something I'd get again and again! The octopus was mushy and not worth the money, the Greek salad was super oily, and the orzo that accompanied the short rib was not good at all! Mixed meal but what was really weird was that as staff and our waiter dropped plates off at the table, nothing was ever picked up. So by the end of the meal our table was FILLED. opa was one of our favs in WC. last night, we ate there and it was as off from the beginning. the owner was sitting at a table right when ya walk in the door. he came over to the rezy desk to possibly hear a small issue we had. not really an issue. he didn't look at me when I spoke and totally disregarded me (the customer). bad energy. then he told his staff to quiet down we sat and our ever was not the most happy and easy person to talk to. we didnt want fries with our gyros. he did t offer anything in place, even though the charge would be same without fries. I asked can we get anything else. I was very excited to have a nice time with my family at your restaurant. My father and sister were visiting from my home country, and we were looking forward to sharing a special meal together. Unfortunately, what should have been a happy family gathering turned into a very upsetting experience. The manager was rude, sarcastic, arrogant, and showed very little consideration or respect toward me. During our interaction, I felt that he treated me unfairly and without basic courtesy. When I expressed my disappointment with the way he was speaking to me, he loudly asked me to leave the restaurant in front of other customers. I left feeling deeply upset, humiliated, and disappointed. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed or unwelcome, especially during a special family occasion. What makes this situation even more disappointing is that the food is very good, and in the past we had wonderful service from one of the waitresses, who was kind and welcoming to my family. That positive experience is the reason we chose to return. I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken seriously. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect, regardless of the circumstances. Because of that, we wouldn't go back to the restaurant even though we love the food there. Oh. My. God. My husband and I visited last week and holy cow did this meal blow me away. The service was prompt and very friendly. We ordered four entrees and every single one was the most amazing thing! We actually didn't have a huge appetite and the manager I believe stopped by to see if all was well which was a classy move. Exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure it would be worth the hype, but it absolutely was. Fantastic Greek food. We had 3 appetizers: the halloumi cheese with tomatoes & green onions, the calamari, and the eggplant & zucchini chips with tzatziki. Everything was perfectly cooked, presented nice, hot, fresh, and delicious. The Pastitsio was so unique and like nothing I have ever had before. So amazing!!! Yooooooo this is the cutest spot I've been in a long time. We went here to celebrate my birthday and we have 13 people. The staff was attentive, happy, pleasant and attentive. The place is small but they handled it all! Drinks were on point and with proper pour. We have so many different food needs they were able to offer something from the vegan to the meatatarians. I had a really frustrating experience at this restaurant. The staff was rude from the start, but the situation escalated when I tried to order a drink. I was denied alcohol even though I am 21 and had valid proof of my age with me. Instead of calmly checking my ID or explaining their reasoning, the staff member immediately dismissed me and insisted I wasn't of legal age. It felt disrespectful and unprofessional, especially since I was following the rules and had proper identification. I completely understand the importance of checking IDs, but there's a way to do it respectfully. This felt more like poor customer service than caution. I felt like I was taking a journey exploring Santorini and Crete. The atmosphere is set to look like the Greek Islands in the decor and feel. The servers all seemed to be of Greek heritage and were friendly and attentive. We started out with the Mediterranean Flatbread. I was chalk full of veggies and Feta. Not awful by any means. I'm Greek, so my standards are probably a little higher. Most items were quite serviceable, but some were terrible. Lentil soup was watery flavorless tomato broth with about 2 sad tablespoons of lentil beans floating around in it. Dear God, that's not even close. Horiatiki should not have bell peppers, particularly not green, and for heavens sakes dry the ingredients off so there isn't a pool of water at the bottom. And no self-respecting Greek serves soup or a salad without bread. Quality and quantity just not quite enough for the prices. But, it was OK. Service was fine. Location is nice. When I realized they charged 9 for that bowl of water they call soup and 15 for a pretty sad salad, I lowered this from 3 to 2 stars read more

We went to Opa this weekend on a recommendation and it did not disappoint! We started with the Opa chips, which were zucchini and eggplant lightly breaded and fried, they were delicious! For entrees we had the chicken gyro platter, spanakopita, and the lamb & beef gyro platter. The only complaint was that the appetizer came out at the same time as the entrees. Stayed nearby with family for a long weekend. Came through the town centre and saw this place so went back for dinner. Outdoor seating is great for the summer months and the restaurant is on the side of a street which gets blocked off into a big pedestrian zone. Great food, we tried the opa chips ( fried zucchini) and calamari to start. They had a really fun cocktail menu in a binder with drawings of the drinks. For main course we had a couple of the gyro platters, octopus and mousaka (it was a little cold inside but they were happy to make it warmer). Very fun vibrant place excellent for outdoor eating. Good service. You can walk down the pedestrian street afterwards to other bars/ cookie place / ice creams. read more

And all of the staff here are passionate about Opa and know the menu very well, plus our server was extremely kind. They were out of the chocolate mousse (my favorite dessert) and I was really craving something chocolate. That's the only dessert menu item they had with chocolate. He asked if I wanted some chocolate ice cream, but I said I'd just do the baklava cheesecake instead. The server then proceeded to bring out the baklava cheesecake along with two scoops of chocolate ice cream! It was very sweet of him to say the least. Plus it all tasted great! Really enjoyed my time here and would happily return. From the moment I walked in to the time of my departure, the staff were friendly, and accommodating. I had coffee and the beet salad and both were exactly what I needed. The beet salad came with some sort of garlic spread that had a delicious creamy taste but I was told it didn't have milk or anything making it safe for the lactose intolerant. I've ordered takeout from here in the past, it was always good. Husband and I were out for an impromptu date night and stopped by. They were packed (definitely make a reservation), but we luckily managed to snag a bar table with the help of George who seemed to be managing the front of house. Such an amazing experience. Vibrant restaurant with super friendly staff and beautiful decor. I ordered a butterfly lavender lemon cocktail thing and husband got a spicy cocktail with tajin rim. Both were very good. Fresh ingredients! We ordered the 3 dip app with a cheese saganki. Both were so good, but the dips with the pita were one of the best apps we've ever had. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken for my main and husband got the chicken souvlaki platter. We both were so full from apps that we took our meals home. The few bites that we had were so tasty. A little bit of Greece in the heart of West Chester! The inside certainly reflects this, with gorgeous Greek-style decor. The service was quick and friendly, and of course the food was all delicious. We had the halloumi, grilled swordfish, Greek salad, grilled octopus, and baklava. The seasonings on everything really stood out in making everything taste especially great.
