Let me start by saying you are such a liar! You failed to provide the attention, safety, and basic needs of caring for a pet that was in your care! You lied and stated the dog climbed a 6-foot fence knowing that was impossible! You never took accountability for what happened you covered up your employees' lies even admitting how unwelcoming she responded to what happened! In addition, you have been dishonest about several situations surrounding this matter. A customer posted that her dog died in your care and you didn't tell them until later! Due to the hurricane Florence, we were evacuated out of our home. I called Brandywine and reserved with a nice staffmember named Katrina was friendly although I was stressed. Nice yard for them to run and play in. The kennel run was average size. They seemed happy as we left. I was unable to keep them at my sis house since there was construction going on in the backyard. Sounds great huh, well initially i was quoted $25 per run per day. We checked in Wed after 4pm for 4 days, out on Sunday. Upon arrival my daughter urged me to put them in one run, they would be happier. The quote then changed to $48 x 4 days for ONE RUN . As we are retired military and current government employee. Friday the evacuation was lifted so we were able to return home. I called Katrina to advise. She did advise me that she would adjust my rate. Sat Morning we arrived 1hr after opening. A lady said they had been out but not feed yet. Nice Katrina was not there. I was then charged the complete 4 days, although they were there 3 days. A lady whom did not offer her name checked us out. I called as i we arrived home, gathering our receipts for the unexpected trip. Pretty sure i spoke to the same person as was advised that the charge was for the calendar day, not the hour. Again I called on tuesday to speak to Katrina for explanation of the new overcharge, and was told she was not there. I will not use this kennel again. I did mention it to some friends with pets at Ft. Lee as well as my groups I belong to in the area. I feel we were definitely overcharged. Price gouging during emergency situations is also looked at by the state. read more

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I bring my dog Pharoah here whenever we have to leave town and it's obvious by the way he acts when we're on our way there that they give great care to all of the pets that they board there. The staff is so friendly and the facility is great and well taken care of. He loves going there and that gives me peace of mind when I have to take him that he is going to be looked after with the same kind of love and attention that I would give him. read more

I put two dogs in Brandywine for 4 days. They came back in HORRIBLE condition. My small dog had feces (dried and hard) hanging from her bottom. It was a full/complete movement as if she tried to hold it but was not let out properly. I know she can hold it at least 12 hours, so, I'm guessing they never let her out but perhaps once a day. My other dog had a terrible ear infection/wax. They both came back with fleas, and flea dust. I know it happened here because I had not a few months prior taken them to the vet for shots, and grooming. In addition. I called the owner, who did return my call, but I missed it. she said she was going out of town for a week. She NEVER followed up with me. I emailed them about a week later. Still nothing. Why should I have to chase them down? Do NOT take your dogs here. read more

I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog at Brandywine Kennels. I received a recommendation to board at Brandywine through my vet. I booked a weekend stay for my dog and they were very accommodating. They require a negative heart worm exam, which my dog does not have due to the fact that we just moved from AK where heart worms aren't a problem, and it takes 6 months after a dog is infected for it to show up on a test (which we haven't been here for that long). I explained this over the phone to the person, and they were willing to accept my dog, stating that they tried to do what they could to work with military. The drop off and pick up processes were extremely quick. Since it was my first time, they had to enter my dog's shot records into the computer, but I think from the time I showed up to the time I left was only about 10 minutes. The checkout process when I came to pick up was equally as quick. The facility is well kept, and it seems to be on the property where the owners live. It's a bit out of the way, but worth the drive. They exercise the dogs three times a day, and although they don't get any play time together, the play areas are side by side so dogs can sniff and see each other if they want to interact. I was also told that the people try to be in the pens with the dogs to play with them. I was really happy about the amount of outside time. A lot of kennels only give the dogs outside access attached to their kennel, which is just not sufficient for my high energy pup. She needs the opportunity to run around. I got my dog back clean and happy. I'd considered having her bathed while she was there since they offer those services, but since I didn't have a chance to look at the inside of the kennels when I dropped her off, I wanted to see if I'd get her back smelly or grungy. Fortunately, I didn't. She came back to me in great shape. read more

We had such a wonderful experience with this kennel! We evacuated due to hurricane dorian and I had never boarded our dogs before so I was super nervous because one of our dogs had pretty bad anxiety. We arrived and the area is beautiful and so peaceful! The girl at the front desk was so friendly and got us checked in quickly. She was so sweet to our pups and helped us carry everything to the run. We were able to have both of our dogs in the same run which was perfect to be able to keep them together. They were able to give our hound his calming vitamins because of his anxiety which was great to know he would be taken care of. We called daily to check on them and they were always patient with all of our questions which was wonderful for calming my nerves. Pick up was easy and the dogs were happy and clean! Couldn't have asked for a better experience and will continue to use them if we are in the area! read more

We love Brandywine Kennels. The staff is all friendly and attentive, and they take great care of our two dogs when we have to go out of town. The kennels all have well-kept big runs for the dogs to enjoy outside time. Brandywine Kennels itself is on a beautiful piece of property out in the country, but it only takes about 10 minutes to get there from I-95. I have had reservations about leaving our dogs at different Kennels in the past, but here I know they'll be well looked after. I love that our dogs get to stay in the same room together. I love Brandywine Kennels. They have taken wonderful care of my dogs, Auggy and Otto for years. My dogs don't mind going, and I like the way the staff remember them and seem to like them. They always return to be happy and well cared for and I never worry about them while I am away. Also, the grooming services are excellent. Neither of my dogs like baths, yet the staff can get them bathes, groomed and smelling like a peach. I will add the Auggy has exceptionally long hair that is a challenge to work with too! Witnessed a lot of dogs there over the years (including my own) receiving personal attention when necessary, well beyond the routine services offered.
