I'm a vegetarian so I asked about options when booking. They had a few selections that were vegetarian (mashed potatoes and white gravy, salad bar, rice, and an assortment of desserts). Because we ordered tickets in advance they also said they could make a special vegetable penne pasta specifically for me. The food was decent, not stupendous but not bad. And it's buffet style so the portions were decent. The show was great. Funny with a lot of audience participation. Some of the magic tricks were obvious but others had my group scratching their heads trying to figure out how it was done. And one trick really blew us away. If you go to the show, I'm sure you'll figure out which one I mean. Now the only downside is that I am disabled with a wide powerchair (27 inches) and it wouldn't fit through the stall door of the restroom at the theater. So I had to wait til I got back home to use the restroom. A minor inconvenience but worth noting. All in all a good experience.

The theater could use a much better setup for restrooms as you get a quick 15 minute intermission and the women's, men's and food Line all co-mingle and block the theater doors. It becomes a complete mess but happy people just make it doable. Still something to make 1058 people "flow" through the restroom lines better would be helpful. We are planning already how to get back here in October. Love this place and the shows.

I cant say for sure if actors were used but seems a bit of coincidence. supposedly the people on the stage would continue to do some of the things she said. there was only one person who attempted to do this and this person was the most animated person on stage. the food described made you think that it would be served to you this was a buffet. there was a salad, iceberg lettuce shredded cheese, croutons, bacon bits(not real bacon) and a choice of two dressings. for the actual dinner there was cold dinner rolls & butter, green beans, red potatoes, smoked pulled pork and baked chicken this was red on the 2 pieces that I picked and 1 of 2 pieces that a friend picked up. drinks were not included in the price and the alcoholic drinks were over priced and was only available till the first intermission. the first intermission just before the hypnosis part of the show. after the show was finished there was the cheesy attempt to sell you some other videos that she had done and the video of the show. the sound system wasn't working properly, granted this was the first show of the season so maybe all the kinks weren't worked out but to me it seemed a bit unprofessional and unprepared for the show. I felt the overall experience is not worth the price in my opinion it wasnt worth half the cost.

The corn was canned corn but it was at least warm. No butter available for the cold rolls. The salad was what most places served, prepackaged stuff. The desserts (apple and berry cobbler) were the best part of the dinner. Not the worst show we saw this week but certainly not one of the best.

From where we started at the White River Landing, everything was smooth and well organized. The landing itself is charming, especially in the evening with string lights and a couple of shops designed to match the showboat's vintage aesthetic. There was a dedicated priority boarding line for Captain's Club guests that started on time and before general admission, so we avoided any wait. Staff efficiently guided us through boarding (complete with photo opportunity with an option to purchase later) and to our seats in the dining area. The dining experience was outstanding thanks to our attentive server and other dining staff. With Captain's Club, we enjoyed a menu to choose from, were served ahead of the general admission guests, and the food arrived quickly. During dinner, the show with the Rivertown Ramblers was energetic, also well-organized, and highly entertaining. The talented vocalists and musicians delivered a fantastic performance. The combination of the scenic cruise, great food, priority service, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening and one of the highlights of our Branson trip. I highly recommend the Showboat to anyone visiting and definitely upgrade to Captain's Club if you can.

Truly appreciate the way the honor birthdays, anniversary's, and veterans. A 40 minute intermission and the invitation is given to explore the boat meet the captain and take in a truly beautiful table rock lake sunset. They told us to arrive an hour before our ticket time but we I think we would have been okay even coming 30 minutes before. It's well organized but having that extra time for our first visit was fine. After dinner and disembarking we tried the trail around the lake because we were still full. Would 100% do it again. The boat bathrooms were a little different and stopped flushing but staff were quick to respond. Overall staff were great and attentive! Nice big parking lot. My only advice is avoid the 2nd tier side seating. Go for the floor or 2nd tier facing the stage. The side seating visually cuts off half the stage.

I wasn't sure if they went back to the hotel or just ran out into traffic on Country Blvd to end their misery. Of the dozen or so that stayed, I caught at least half of them snoozing, and every one departed looking like they just aged twenty years. The highlight of my visit was when I nodded off and dreamed I was eternally stuck in "Fire in the Hole" with screaming kids (Silver Dollar City). In my dream, the fire was real and the melting coaster just kept making endless rounds. Just when I though it couldn't get worse, I woke up and had to finish this show. The concept of an airborne fiddler sounded interesting but the experience just didn't fly with me. This sort of act might fit better as a guest act in a variety show, it simply didn't carry this entire production. There are ways this show could be improved. Have you seen the youtube video where a kid on a rope swing uses a leaf-blower for propulsion? The show could avertise "The world's only acrobatic, aerial violinist...with a jetpack!" I might visit a second time to see this. If you're considering this show, I suggest saving your money, play some putt putt golf or catch the IMAX instead. Or just take your nap in the lobby. There was a great deal of energy from all which made it fun to watch because it appeared they were having fun also. Have to be a very good actor or truly enjoy what you are doing to make it so believable on just an average night in July. For us! the best part was actually knowing most of the songs they did. The joke was that they were going to do the best of the decades after 1980's, but couldn't find any. The building was appropriate for the audience although parking can be difficult. It is an 'older' building but inside is obviously old and an update might work. We would refer anyone to it and have fun. See some comments concerning the comedian. He was ok, am sure he has a fairly set routine but the onstage performers didn't appear to know what he might say. I rated him ok to good, but then we went for the music....this was an addon for us.
