This was our third visit in 4 years! The show is updated every year or so and just keeps getting better! The food is served buffet style and food is marked for Gluten Free which is fantastic for my wife and I because we have that unfortunate requirement! Food is well prepared and tastes like home cooking! The show is a riot with the Deputy Hawkins as the lead hilarious character! This is a Christian family run business that has a fantastic show! I thought the food was very good; salad bar was fresh and had all the basic ingredients. green beans, baked chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and gravy and my wife and I split a piece of chocolate cake, which was good. I went back for a second piece of chicken and was pleasantly full after that. I did not eat a biscuit or macaroni and cheese, but they looked like they would be very good. The staff was very professional, courteous, and friendly from the minute we walked into the building. While we were eating, the staff were constantly going through making sure drinks were full, and empty plates were removed from the table, and taking care of anything you needed. The show started, kept our attention the entire show! We laughed and were very impressed at the tempo, the choreography, the acting skills (professionals), involving the audience participation, the whole thing. A little comment about the people that visit Branson. They're great people - we have met so many nice people everywhere we go and I think that the group of people that visit Branson help make this town a great place to visit! Back to the murder mystery. What a great job these guys and gals did to put on a fantastic show and make everybody laugh so hard. During my booking experience I had to change my date due to a winter storm and was charged double for the tickets. I was disgusted at the time but hoped the experience would be worth the price. I was charged $200 for 2 adults which should have been a cost of less than $100. WHAT HORRIBLE SERVICE!! The play was cute and fun to watch but I an sorry to say everything else made this an experience one that I would not recommend to anyone. I really enjoyed it. It was silly cute. We were seated in the perfect seats facing the stage. Robin Banks has a beautiful singing voice. Sadie Hawkins was over the top funny. Food was ok. I must say, in all of Branson/Lucia, these actor/entertainer/servers had the best attitude & most welcoming attitude. I really enjoyed it! It was my birthday show. The building is the Majestic building. So when you arrive & wonder of you are in the correct t place, you are. It is in the bottom floor. We loved Riga Tony's murder mystery at the Clarion. It was fun, engaging, and the food and drinks were good.

This small production featuring Larry and Toni Hoover was awesome. It is a small town show, with a big heart. It is very interactive and encourages audience participation. The Littles and I had an amazing time. It is located in the the Old Historic Majestic Steakhouse Theater. It is an old theater and the chairs are your standard banquet chairs with banquet tables. There is tons of free parking. The staff is amazing. The performers are also the ones collecting trays, refilling drinks and clearing off tables. The staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. They do pack a bunch of people into the theater and the tables are tightly spaced. We visited in late November when they were doing the Christmas show, Murder by Eggnog. You can eat as soon as you get there. The buffet is good for what it is and they serve mac and cheese, salad, rolls, green beans, meatloaf and baked chicken. It was pretty good for mass produced buffet food. I must admit that I was a little skeptical about eating dinner at 3:30, but it worked out perfectly for me and made way for the show to end at a decent hour. The show started after everyone was finished eating dinner. A select few people are chosen to have small part in the show as suspects. I was Walt Mart. It was pretty fun. Most of the audience-actors were really good and blended in nicely as part of the show. The show itself was witty, funny, and upbeat. My littles and I really liked it. The show lasted about 2 hours and at the end of it, the actors greeted everyone as they left and poses for photos. I was deciding between this and anither Murder Mystery Dinner in the town. I am so glad that I chose this one. This was one of my favorite shows during my stay in Branson. My eight year old said that she wanted to come back here every year until she was 30. I don't know about that, but I do hope to make it back here soon. I highly recommend checking this show out while in Branson. read more

The food was baked chicken, meatloaf that was not seasoned, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, green beans, roll, piece of cake and tea or lemonade. Seats were assigned and ours were bad so we had to watch it on a television screen. We didn't stay for the whole show it was just not good enough to keep our attention. Starting off by saying this is a five star review so any negative things were very minor. I brought my wife and two sons (ages 9 and 12 going in 30). I laughed they laughed we all laughed. Some of the jokes were over my boys heads, not dirty but older references they didn't get, but they were delivered in such a way that the boys liked them. The staff/actors were so nice. When it opened we were shown where our table was then we went to get our food, which was a buffet. The food wasn't the best, but it was good, especially the cake. Highly recommend if you're into comedy. The show was definitely silly, but it was very entertaining and funny. The food is a buffet so it was as expected, decent. Comfort foods that are hard to mess up. I'm an extremely picky eater but I still ate everything. The actors were also servers, and they were amazing. They were all extremely helpful, nice, and took into account your family. With families who we talkative, they'd chitchat, and with families who don't won't to be bothered will just get checked on. The show was very funny. I was expecting it to be very corny and geared towards kids, but me (23) and my parents all enjoyed it. We laughed the whole time and it was fun to participate in some singing and other parts of the show. The actors are great at improv, and they engage the crowd a lot. The crowd also has some acting parts which were funny. The only downside was the show could do without the copaganda. Talking about cops isn't a necessary part of the show. The show gets 5* This was a good show. There was some singing, some dancing, some puns, and some Murder. The audience volunteer to take part in the performance by reading lines. Not everyone can participate. Some that did participate could not read very well...so they shouldn't of volunteered. The dinner gets 2* This was a mediocre dinner at best. First you had to eat at 330 in the afternoon. Second the food was just blah. The salad bar was small, the baked chicken very dry, the meatloaf was wet, and the chocolate cake was dry. This show was recommended to me and we needed something for the entire family to enjoy. We had chosen a variety of things to experience and this was our first murder dinner show. The service was fantastic. The food was good, they did offer refills or seconds if you wanted. It was a self serve buffet. Chicken meatloaf potatoes salad. Mac and cheese that sort of thing. The food was good. The theater is long and narrow. They have tv screens scattered around to help make sure everyone can see. When you get your tickets. Do your best to tall them you want to be centered on the stage. I think this would be around table 30? The play had five main actors who did a great job with the production. I think I just didn't understand and had the wrong expectation. This is not a who dunnit where you really try to solve the murder. It was full of laughs 100% read more

The actors are having fun but it feels like they have a number of inside jokes while the audience remains in the dark. The actors laugh but the audience smiled. For teens, there are not many laughs, saw a number walk out before the conclusion. The family of five seated in front of us left at intermission. For a family of four at the cost of well over 200.00 the product is overpriced and you will leave wishing you had gone elsewhere. Short scripts are given to audience members to read when each is questioned as a murder suspect. The show was very well attended, near sell-out. What totally ruined it for me is one actress. There's an art to performing slapstick or vaudevillian physical humor well, and she over-did it thru the whole show (I never got a break from it)!
