Service is absolutely terrible. The staff are really nice and mean well and want to do the right thing - but they have 0 training or guidance on how to be efficient. This entire staff operation can be streamlined so much. Everyone seems to be doing everything - which lead to us havjng to ask them to manage the waitlist, asking them to seat more people when tables were empty, requesting cutlery when seated and even the bill process took long. The food was good (expensive), but the service experience was horrendous. We had the papri chaat, gol gapey, and also a samosa plate. We also had saag with makki di roti and some channa baturas. Everything tasted good snd was clearly fresh. Will not be returning for a period due to the service experience.

If you love spicy Indian food, then this is the place!! You can enjoy a wide selection of street foods (pakoras, chaats) as well in a nice fine-dinning like ambiance. Service is really good. Servers are polite and attentive. Foods are cooked with a wide range of selected spices and herbs, tastes good, spicy. It's located in a nice plaza, with ample parking spac

Like this Restaurant a lot, as their sweets and Indian desserts are very good quality and taste This outlet being across a movie theatre has ppl coming here after the movies as the food and service here is good too We were 4 people came here after a movie we started with our cupachinos with paneer pakoras aloo Tikky chaat and pani Puri s which were good too. The food was fine though not very good We ordered Shabi paneer with butter naans and samosas to take home The service here is excellent with friendly servers The food was average could have done better however the cuppachino was was excellent really good We would love to come here and try other food too

I love Indian food!!! I was craving for Chai this morning so I literally waited for it to open at 11am today. I got three combos of Chai and Samosa for $2 each combo and two additional cups of Chai. I enjoyed the Chai very much however the wait time was a little long. When I ordered there was no one in front of me however I still waited 20 mins for total 5 chai and 3 samosas which were already there to be served. A man ordered after me got his food and chai ready before me I was wondering why?! Anyways.. While I was waiting for my food there was a caucasian lady who inquired about the price of "that deep fried broccoli" thingy, she found it pretty pricy and the employee replied her " yes! It is very expensive, very expensive..." the customer turned over and left without saying a word....as a customer I thought it was pretty rude that an employee emphasized "ya it is very expensive." I will still come back for chai as its close to where I work. However the customer service def needs to be improved.

Once a place known for quality indian good but my recent visit made me realise it is worst experience in Brampton. Bought a takeout order worth $65 for onion pakodas and samosas ... pakodas were soooo chewy that your jaws would hurt.... Some pakodas were burnt black ... still served... samosas had oil smell.... it's better not to serve if you can't prepare and quality snack. I want to speak to manage (person) looking for quality they offer in food. Contact me @ 6479629870Pakodas

If you are looking for Indian thali or some chaat options like sev puri this is the place to be. Lovely ambience, good service and great food. Weekends are packed, but nevertheless it's worth the wait.

I am now regular at Brar's, especially at their Great Lakes location. Since last 3 times, Kumiss Kubreja is taking care of us. She is great and always ensures my mother is doing good with her food selection. Employees like her really add value to overall customer experience. Thanks Kumiss for the best service you have been providing us, and I am sure many more customers say the same thing. Another great experience at Brar's. Food and crew both are very good. Feels like eating at home. This time Naira took care of our order, recommended stuff and all went wonderful. Service = Excellent Food = Excellent Price = Economic Overall = Great value Thanks Naira for the great service. Will be visiting again soon

The only thing that I didn't like the first time around, and didn't like this time around either, was the lighting. It was much too dark in the restaurant, even though it was daytime. We were even sitting at a table near the bar, which had potlights however, it was still dark. We were served by Nimrat, whom brought over our menus, and allowed us ample time to order our items. I had settled on butter chicken, with a side order of regular naan, and plain rice. The food took a bit long to arrive however, since there were seven in our group, I understood why the food took longer to prepare. However, once the food came, I was very happy with how delicious everything was! The butter chicken came in a large dish, which was placed on top of a small pot with a flame inside, which kept the butter chicken hot during my entire visit; this was a great addition to the meal! The naan was an excellent accompaniment, along with the plain rice; everything was well-prepared, with the perfect amount of flavouring. It also wasn't spicy, which is perfect for my taste buds; this chef definitely knows how to cook an excellent meal! Nimrat checked on us regularly, filling our glasses with water, and taking away any dishes that we had finished with. Even the owner came by to greet us, and ask how we were enjoying everything. Overall, this place had excellent food, with wonderful service provided by Nimrat, and beautiful décor. The only thing that I didn't like was the lighting however, I would definitely come back.

This place opens at 5 pm so no lunch .... open for late night dinner till 2 am. Went in , restaurant had an overwhelming bouquet of Indian food , after few minutes felt like their exhaust was not working and all kitchen smoke was flowing in . Not good for dine in but we resisted n ordered chicken tikka masala n dal makhani with garlic butter naan .First the servers are not dine in friendly as we ordered the server said " u will have to wait for 50 min as we are too busy with take out orders " , though the restaurant was almost empty with 2 tables occupied . We were patient n waited . To our good luck food arrived in 38 minutes . Vooooooo yeah ! Food looked appetizing , tried the crispy butter garlic naan with dal makhni n chicken tikka masala . To my surprise the food was tasty . Though it lacked authenticity but it was a great creation by the chefs toward the success of the gourmet ! Most irritating n uncalled in the whole experience was the lack of oxygen in the restaurant to breathe with all the smoke around . Though the food experience was good but I may not visit again due to unhealthy ambience . 3 stars for the food !!!!

As part of the exhibition season, the first stop takes us to Caledon. We decided to go there early to beat the traffic and to find a nice place to eat an early pre-game dinner and to hang out for a little bit (by hanging out we really mean to finish his Chinese school/math homework...LOL). Of all the types of cuisine available in Caledon, we opted for Indian. What? Seriously?, Indian food in Caledon??? To my surprise, Caledon's Curry and Cocktail is a pretty legit Indian place. We went with a lighter (we thought it was a lighter order between the two of us) order, considering that there's a game still to be played: butter chicken, chicken samosa and a mango lassi to wash things down. Butter chicken was rich, savoury, super buttery and had the right mix of spicy. They were rather generous with the basmati rice... we couldn't finish it. The chicken samsosa were the heavier batt-ery type and not the thin crunch type. Which is fine by me. The filling was in the form of minced chicken. I personally would have preferred chunkier chicken. But still a good, satisfying appetizer. If you aren't super hungry, this could of been a mini meal. In addition, the hot sauce that was paired with the samosas was a perfect match. Finally, the mango lassi tasted exactly how a mango lassi should taste like...fruity and yoghurty. If I'm ever back in this neck of the woods, I would not hesitate to return to Caledon's Curry and Cocktail. Stay tuned for our next stop, erh... I mean after the game when my son is hungry again.
