I tried their soy chicken drum sticks, kim chi, dumplings, siu mai, and radish cake. My absolute favourite and would recommend is the radish cake!! It is so good. The kim chi was off-putting and was drenched in whatever sauce. The dumplings are also really good as well. I like the layout and aesthetics of the restaurant. One thing to note also was that the employees just seemed miserable. I understand we came an hour before closing but they just seemed miserable and sort of ticked off that we were coming an hour before closing.

Just trust my absent Asian ancestry ok?! I ordered the N65. Fried Noodles with Steamed and Stir-Fried Bean Curd, and as a request asked them to make it spicy to which they happily and kindly obliged. This dish was packed with flavour. Oh em gee! Loaded with fresh crunchy veggies, the noodles were spot on: thin, velvety and a lot of them. Makes for some healthy slurps! Oh, did I mention the meat? No, I didn't, because it didn't have any, and I have never not missed something so much. The crispy fried bean curds tasted like deep fried spare ribs. My pupils dilated a bit. And that's ok cause I went into a food coma, got to heaven and wrote a review about the very first Asian restaurant I try in Toronto and I'm already planning to go back. All food has to buy ticket at the front desk. Each ticket costs $12 and can buy 1 item in the teahouse. The servers are very nice and kind. The place is very clean. I ordered 2 types of cold noodles and both are very nice. Ice cream waffle is a hit with fresh mango. The spicy noodle has Thai curry soup which is very delicious. It is very worth as you just need to give the ticket to the server and that's it.

They are only open Monday to Friday but they do have a huge assortment of vegan and vegetarian Chinese Food. What I like is that they tell you what is vegan and what is vegetarian. 90% of the store is vegan, but anything that contains milk or dairy is pointed out on the sign. They have a huge assortment of Asian vegan and vegetarian food. I purchased a couple of frozen entrees (black pepper "beef" with rice and "chicken" tikka masala). The entrees are around $7 to $8. They are frozen and all you have to do is pop them in the microwave for 4 minutes. Very tasty. In addition, I also purchased packages of vegan shiu mai, vegan BBQ pork buns and vegan curry buns. Shiu mai was $14 for 35 small dumplings, and the buns were around $4 for 6 or so. While slightly pricier than real meat, it definitely looked and tasted like the real thing. Unfortunately, if you're vegan or vegetarian and want mock meats, it is more expensive than real meat, ironically. However, the majority of the food here is hand made, and also cheaper. Verdict: if you're looking for Chinese vegan/vegetarian food, something different than the typical stuff you get at Canadian supermarkets, then I'd definitely recommend you check it out. When we politely raised our concerns about the food and service, the manager responded very rudely and said they did not have enough staff. This is not something customers should have to hear as an excuse for poor service. We expected much better hospitality and food quality from a reputed restaurant. Overall, it was not worth the visit and we left very dissatisfied.
