Friend asked to meet here, it's a small location with limited parking but I am glad we went. I got the pork bowl and wow it was good! (Reheated great too with my leftovers). Food came out very quick. We had a large table with a lazy Susan, which was pretty useful. I struggled to choose what to order because so many things sounded good, but I finally went with the pork bowl. One of our meals took quite a while to come out. The food was really tasty and the servers were nice, so there just really isn't anything to complain about. I got eggs and they were good, but they're eggs. Maybe that was dumb since they're known for their chicken. Yuca fries were awesome. They forgot the green sauce with both of our meals but it was so good. If I went back, I would find a spot in the parking lot and sit in a booth (we didn't want to wait for one and sat at a tiny table by the window in the direct sun). Brasa is one of my favorite restaurants; it's so good that my husband & I wanted to have them cater our wedding! I've tried quite a few of their menu items and keep coming back to the Huevos Rancheros. It's a generous portion with a perfectly crisp base, plus all of the toppings you could want. Their yucca fries are a must, even when you don't have the room to eat more! The sauce given with the yuccas is so fresh & delicious, I want it on everything. This is the first time we've visited since they returned to normal table service; they still have a QR code at the table that you can order from, but our server was so fast that I couldn't even get our order started before we were helped. Everyone here has been super helpful & kind. I love the music they have playing, it's upbeat & fun, which just adds to the overall sunny atmosphere. I will also say that I really appreciate their pricing/wage policy. The food is reasonably priced while providing the staff living wages & maintaining their high quality ingredients. Brasa is set up to pick your base meat (or not meat, they also have vegan and vegetarian bases) and then choose if you want it as a plate, a sandwich, or a bowl. They have many staple sides to choose from as well. Our service was friendly and had good recommendations to help us order. My partner got the pork sandwich and it was excellent. This location used to be our go-to I stopped in for the first time and probably a year maybe a little more. I was greeted right away at the door which was nice, I noticed that the restaurant space was half the size They converted half of the restaurant to a banquet room / meeting space (That I'm assuming people have to rent out via reservation not quite sure) So the actual restaurant - dining area is a lot smaller perhaps they did that to accommodate the actual business that they were getting and scaled down. Nonetheless the staff were friendly there have been a few menu changes but overall their old standards are still on the menu. Since it had been a while and I noticed the visual changes and was aware that there was a lot of newer staff there I figured I couldn't go wrong with the classic two-piece plate and side. I make mention of the changes because oftentimes when a favorite spot changes management/staff and changes aesthetically oftentimes the menu changes as well so I didn't want to order something and be disappointed so I got what I thought would be a good way to test the waters. It did not disappoint the mac and cheese was done perfectly. Very cheesy with tender noodles but not mushy The flavor was great as was the consistency... Done to perfection! The chicken was also good although the pieces for the price are a little on the small side(in fact I'm convinced that it was a Cornish hen, I cook regularly and I cook game hens and roast whole chickens several times a month at home for my family This was no chicken But it was still tasty) but the cornbread muffin was also very good (And I'm very particular about cornbread I won't get it everywhere). My family and I were visiting from out of town and heard rave reviews about Brasa, so we decided to give it a try. We were able to get a table immediately and were greeted by the staff members who were super friendly with our four littles. Our food came out so quickly. One of my kids remarked that the food came out with "record speed". Everything was AMAZING. It was so delicious. The portions aren't huge, but it was surprisingly filling. I think that we are just so accustomed to restaurants gorging us with food that we don't know how to recognize healthy portions anymore! It's cold right now, so the garage doors are obviously closed, but we bet it would be a really nice atmosphere when they are open and the indoor/outdoor space is blended. I went with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised when I read that everything on their menu is gluten free besides cake,corn bread, and the Mac and cheese! We ordered with a QR code from our table and I got a glass of wine, chilaquiles, crispy yuca, and butterscotch pudding for dessert. I really enjoyed all of my food and the large portion size for the chilaquiles. The price for all of the food was very reasonable with the main dish being around 16 dollars, wine was 5, and dessert was 4.50. I would like to come back and try some of their other items and sides.
