Aji de Gallina Stew made with shredded chicken breast cooked with Peruvian yellow pepper, parmesan cheese, and cream sauce.

First time diner. I will definitely return. Food is stellar with explosive flavor profile, tender protein, and all around enjoyable cuisine. Juice made from passion fruit was delicious. Waitress was attentive. Some menu items, eg, soups, were unavailable and waitress was apologetic and helpful. Restaurant has limited seating but relaxed atmosphere

Two stars because first visit it was so so. Second visit it was horrible. Waiters forgot us completely multiple times. Brought yuca without any sauces. We waited and waited and finally they came but yuca was cold by then. The chupe de shrimp was not good, aguadito had no flavor at all. Lomo was sad. Causa was wet. So bad. All of it. Waited an hour on hotdogs. Third visit was ok. We ordered an hour ahead and still waited on our food upon arrival. But they were nice and working hard. Yuca was great. Pollo was prepared well. This gives us hope they will do better. But first two visits were so bad I took 3 stars off. The two stars are for the third visit, they were nice. Friends had ceviche and it was not good at all.

The real Peruvian flavor, I didn't think I would find one of the best Ceviches in the world in Kentucky, Many times we pay in luxurious restaurants and the food is very simple, if you want to feel a bomb of flavors in your mouth visit this place.

    Canchas

This was my first time with Peruvian food and I can say it did not disappoint. To me it is kind of a meld of Mexican, Caribbean, and Puerto Rican food. The sauce on my Pesscador a lo macho ( I think that's right) was amazing and the mussels in the dish were the first ones I have ever enjoyed. My wife had the chicken with pesto and it was better than any Italian version we have had. The plantains were good and the sweet potato fries were the sweetest I've eaten. Service was great and there was plenty of cancha to eat for snacking while waiting. It is corn that tastes like popcorn but is not completely popped. It was delicious. I am looking forward to going back for more!

Food is excellent. Everything is pretty good but they should re price their appetizers, they are way too expensive.

Lively atmosphere, creative cocktails, and delicious food make for a fun culinary experience. Peruvian and Asian cuisines combine to make a creative menu. My husband loves their Lomo Tartare appetizer and the lightly spicy "Summer in Saigon" cocktail. I'm a fan of their new "Dark Daq" cocktail and the edamame appetizer. We like all of their entrees. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is friendly and attentive. Unlike other places, you won't get constantly interrupted with questions about the food or the service. It's a small place and it's generally busy most of the time we've been there. I highly recommend Dos Mundos for a special night out or a bite and drinks with friends!

I did not realize the kitchen closed 30 minutes before the restaurant did so keep that in mind. I had the miso soup which had a good miso flavor and came out piping hot. For my main I had the Arroz Chaufa with chicken. It was exactly what I wanted. My only suggestion is to add some flavor to the chicken maybe a marinade, but together as one bite it was perfect. Especially for a girl who grew up eating rice and eggs as a staple. There is a parking lot so don't waste your time searching for street parking. And if you have kids there is a parking across the street.

The waitress was friendly & attentive. I had ordered the Peruvian ribs and they were mediocre. There wasn't much flavor & just tasted a bit overcooked yet warm. The rice was delicious, loved it very much & the French fries seemed homemade & very crispy delicious!! My partner unfortunately didn't enjoy his Peruvian chicken & it was quite rubbery & flavorless. I had requested a spicy sauce on the side for my ribs & I was confused what I was eating it was homemade & yellow cream color yet it was just too spicy to even enjoy!! It seems like a wonderful place for Americanized Mexican food, so I'll need to come back to try that but as for Peruvian I'm quite disappointed:/

The last few times I've gotten the same thing and have absolutely loved it. Been so good so fresh! So I was very shocked by this. Like the shrimp are dried out and hard... idk but I won't go in late again. It'll have to be a day off so I can go early in the day. Cause I do love it- you can see the major differences from previous visits of the same exact dish. My bad for going in late but I do have to work and get things done ‍

It's a casual atmosphere and the staff are friendly and happy to help. You might not know if you'll like Peruvian food, but a lot of things on the menu are very approachable! And they have a QR link to photos of all their dishes so you can order with confidence. There's plenty of chicken-and-potatoes kind of things to try. We ordered the arroz con pollo, the lomo saltado, and the bistec a lo pobre. All were very good! The arroz was very flavorful, they say it's infused with cilantro and chicken broth, which gives it a nice, hearty flavor. I definitely recommend it. The lomo was well marinated and tasty, my daughter loved it. And the bistec was huge! We all ate well and brought home leftovers. Go try this unique place!
