I have been to several rodizio places, in different countries no less. This is top of the pile. Food: I suggest you and your whole group go for the rodizio - the endless barbecue. It's fun, delicious, and allows for easy conversation. If you decide against the extravaganza of meat their other dishes are excellent as well. The "salad bar" is included and has some nice items. It's all starchy stuff that's supposed to get you full before you eat the meats, but some of it is very good and worth some "room" - beans, cheese balls (a brasilian specialty) , rice, plaintains. In all my experiences there I cannot recall a single time that was disappointed with the meat. It's well seasoned and cooked properly. Very rarely do you get a tough cut or one that is over cooked. There is a great variety as well (try a chicken heart, they are delicious). When you finish your meal ask for some pineapple. It's served hot w/ a sprinkle of cinnamon - better than any dessert. Drinks: Guarana! Delicious brazilian soda. Their sangria is also pretty good, and a pitcher is reasonably priced for sharing. We got almost 10 glasses out of it. Service: Weekends it can be very busy. If you can't stand waiting and want the undivided attention of the servers who are working together to serve every table, then come on a weekday or at lunch. It's slightly cheaper and much less crowded, so the service is more personal. Desserts: they have a cart of desserts that goes around. Nothing very special here, and if you still have room left over from the rodizio, you're doing it wrong! read more

We really enjoyed this place however i do not feel i was hungry enough to be here. My Wife, Daughter & I came here on a Sunday afternoon, the place was pretty full. Seemed nice and clean and well maintained. Upon looking at the menu we were trying to decide if the all you can eat rodizio was the way to go being my daughter would have to pay full price ($27.95) and she's only 9yrs old. We noticed ont the menu something called "The platter", the waiter described it as everything offered from the all you can eat meat on a platter, easy enough. We decided on that the meat platter @ $44.95 and includes the buffet / salad bar. They actually let my daughter eat from the buffet for free. The buffet was pretty good with some authentic Brazilian fare, maduro, rice & beans, fried zucchini, all different empanadas, fried fish, beef stew, chicken stew, cheese bread etc. etc. etc. Lots of good stuff. We filled our plates and headed back to the table, before we finished our dishes the meat platter came out and it was worth every penny. Rib eye steak, skirt steak, beef wrapped w/ bacon, chicken wrapped w/ bacon, sausages, chicken, chicken hearts, sliced pork loin. It was a nice big dish of super tender meat, meat and more meat. This is my 3rd time here and all three times have been a bad experience. First time they tell me a price for the buffet, and when the bill comes it's a completely different price. Second time they get my order wrong and tell me that's what I ordered. Which it clearly wasn't. I ask for churrasco skirt stake and they bring me something not even remotely close. We've ordered take out from here a few times because the food is good, but every time they make up a price for the item and it's never what's on their menu. Today the manager told us that they haven't updated the menu and that was the reason for the price difference. How is it that for a year they never managed to change their prices on the menu? Really? The facility is huge . They have a separate bar that has live music on the weekend . Me and my gf both had the rodizio. It was pretty damn good . I was pleasantly surprised with how well seasons the meats were and how it was all cooked to perfection. My gf likes her meat a little more well done than I so the waiter had them cook a piece of meat to her liking . I thought that was an example of excellent customer service and for that it gets 4 stars from me. They had a pretty great selection on the buffet and all of their cuts of meat are authentic . You know when you are so hungry that you don't know what to get? I had one of those moments today. Eventually we decided to go to Brasilia since we hadn't been there in over a year. My, my, my how they have fallen from grace. The open space and ambiance are great as always. It's a little ironic how all the prices have gone up but the food quality has suffered. Their salad bar used to be great, especially on weekends. Today's selection was sad at best. Dry chicken. Stale baked breads. "Pizza" that looked like it was sitting there since last night. Flavorless chickpea salad. Listen I could go on and on and on, but I'll quit while I'm ahead. The staff was attentive and the meat was cooked to my liking. And I'm very glad they asked how I wanted it cooked. The quality and selection of meats was certainly not up to par with the other rodizios in the area. This was a place I used to frequent a lot back in the days. Today was a grim reminder of why I don't frequent it now in the days. We found this place when a lot of restaurants were closed on a Monday night. They had strong caipirinhas and the paella Valencia was good, so we were happy. They didn't have a buffet when we went and I think some things on the menu are for certain days. read more

I came here with a group of 4 friends, we frequently do lunch together and one of the newer people in our group didn't have as much time flexibility as the rest of us, so we choose a place close to where they worked. All I can say is I'm so happy we did because the food was great. Some of the biggest draws upfront was the free parking, which was the deciding factor for coming here originally. By the time I got there 2 of our group were already seated and we ordered shortly after. The waitresses were attentive, we really never needed anything. The food came out fairly quickly. As for the food itself, it was great. I ordered the lunch chicken and rib, with rice beans and the breaded banana. The meat was pretty good, I like the ribs better then the chicken but they were both tasty. The rice and beans were rice and beans in my opinion; although the breaded banana was... divine. I could have housed an entire order of breaded banana should I have known. All in all the place was pretty good, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back the next time we did lunch. I don't know if COVID-19 caused them to make budget cuts or whatever but their food quality is rubbish in comparison to what it used to be. I ordered a churrasco for two and found the meat to be undercooked when I specifically ordered well done, along with a reduced amount of meat and a order of beans contained 75% water and 25 % beans. I frequent this restaurant on Sundays with my girl. We love the Feijoada stew, as its delicious, and reminds her of home. Well this weekend I decided to bring my family there to celebrate my uncle's 50th birthday, it was my first time trying the rodizio, and let me tell you....it's excellent! The entrees were really good, and fresh, BUT the star is always the meat. My favorites were the beef ribs, and the chicken hearts BUT everything is quite tasty. BEYOND THE FOOD...the staff make this place a great spot to go to for a date, family meal, or any occasion. I made reservations for my team outing a week ahead and called in 30 minutes prior to our arrival to ensure our table was available. Upon walking in to be seated, the hostess claimed we were not on the list, she went inside and came back out to seat others. I had to go up a second time 15 minutes later to ask what the verdict was. Essentially she told me that since nothing was on the books, we would have to wait an hour or more to be seated. I played her the voicemail message on my phone that confirmed our reservation and asked to look at her list. Sure enough, my name was on there, just spelled incorrectly. The lack of effort on her part was absolutely upsetting. We get seated and order rodizio. Since this was a advertised as an all you can eat rodizio, we expected more than one round of meats. The waiters went to the other tables a few times and blalanty ignored ours after the first round. This was certainly a very disappointing experience. It's a big place, the wait can take a while depending on the size of the group your in however, it's worth it. Every time I go, I go with my boyfriend who speaks Portuguese. If you been reading my reviews, you know that I am a big fan for steakhouse, and little bit more about me, I am a 'HUGE' fan for Brazilian steakhouse Is great you go into a steakhouse, and you look over the menu, order whatever steak that sound good to you, and you know what even better? The steak kept coming to you till you put down the sign saying that is 'really enough'. That's what Brazilian steakhouse is all about For some of you not from around the area, your first thought would be "Newark, NJ"? Is that where all the ghettos gathering for drug meeting? lol No no no.... Just like to clarify, Newark, NJ is really not a bad city at all "IF ONLY" they clean it up The ghettos Newark and the good part of Newark is divided out by the New Jersey Trainsit railroad, and if you google it type in Ironbound, you will find this a small really nice area where mostly Brazilian communities If you take a Path Train or the New Jersey trainsit, stop at Newark Penn Station, and you can take about 10 minutes walk to Ironbound, where you will find many many Brazilian restaurants Now, lets talk about Brasilia Grill, before I go in, there is a free parking next to the restaurant, is a small parking lot, but at night time, you can also park on the street, is really easy to find parking, if not, you can also find another parking space close by, but if is not belong to Brasilia Grill, it will probably be a small fee, but don't worried, we are not in Manhattan, you are not going to pay $45 for 2 hours parking. lol I parked my car in one of the indoor building with guard watching only $10 for 6 hours, no, I didn't accidentally type in the wrong number, $10 is from between 6 to 8 hours, and yes, you got rip off when you park in Manhattan. So, I looked around, the restaurant divided by 2, one is restaurant, and one part is bar/restaurant I walked into the restaurant, the waiter was nice, but he look like he is ready to go home, but he don't have any attitude at all. I ordered the Rodizio, that's the Buffet, and I can have all I can eat salad bar, which have salads, rice, beans and few other items, and the good part, the Brazilian style steakhouse, which one after another bring out the warm and juicy. They cut it into small pieces for you, every round they're offering different type of steaks Don't worried, even though I said cut it into small pieces, doesn't mean you are leaving here hungry, each table has a small sign, as long as that sign is up, the steak will continue coming to your table till you take down the sign and says, "Please..no more" lol The services here is good, soonest you be seated, you go to the salad bar and back, your steak is ready to hit your table, and they are coming up fast, so my suggestion for you is when they come the first round, second round, take down the sign, have them stop for a second, finish your plate, and put the sign up again and continue have them bring out more steak, because if you kept the sign up, you will be rush eating it, so the steak will not get cold, a good steak you need to eat it when is hot and juicy. Hm.... I'm not sure about maybe because today is Monday or the chef just not in the mood, I found that the steaks here are just A-Okay, I can use some more salt and paper on it, and I may not be Brazilian, but I tried many Brazilian restaurants before, and they are really yum yum yum. lol Overall, 3 1/2 stars just like what the total ranting showing on here. My bf ordered the sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and beans/rice.. he really enjoyed it. I ordered the rodizio plate with salad bar. The plate had wayyy too much meat! Which is great for you meatlovers. My favorite was the salad bar. The salad bar had empanadas..beat salad, and some beef stew thing that was absolutely delicious! This is a great place to bring someone who has never had Brazilian food before. They offer the essential salad bar and a great assortment of Rodizio options that are very authentic tasting. I personally love the sirloin wrapped in bacon, pork wrapped in bacon, and the chorizo (wrapped in bacon). The garlic shrimp app is freaking BOMB!!! Their red sangria is great tasting, I suggest that too!!! If you're an avid steak eater they don't really cook it exactly how you want it and I believe it's too salty. First time visiting here after a relative of mine brought me and said she had a great experience. Ive been to other restaurants prior to here and have done food the same way so i was antsy waiting to try everything i can. Finally i was able to catch his attention and ask about the food that shouldn't have taken long. Rice and beans shouldn't take forever as shouldn't have plantains and collard greens as well as mashed potatoes that were from a box and yuca that was years old and dry. All of our starters were cold and super depressing only thing I enjoyed was the plantains. We had ordered a salad as one of our sides and it never came. All the meats we got passed around were pretty good nice juicy buttery flavors but again not hot. What really pissed me off so much was how our server was pretty much intoxicated from drinking beer with another table which is HIGHLY unprofessional. When i asked for a few items we wanted including the side salad we ordered that didn't come was so damn sad. Who calls something a salad thats just a platter with lettuce thrown on the bottom like a bed of it than a pound of onions white ones shameful and a few slices of tomato. No dressing no nothing they expect US TO DRESS THE SALAD. Sorry that was the most depressing salad I've seen yet i wouldn't call it that. Thats what you serve guests at a bbq with burgers. Finally we got our check and table cleaned from another server who i swear was such a sweetheart. Stopped in a couple of weeks ago to celebrate the birthday of Red. They have gotten to know us here and treat us really well. It helps when you leave a generous tip! The wait staff are always attentive and friendly. Being a preferred customer really pays off. We ask for the meats medium. Everything is cooked to perfection. Someone at the grill knows how to perfectly salt and cook meats. Keep the fresh rolls handy as they are the perfect chew with pieces of beef rib, steaks, and chicken. Not to mention sweet and spicy sausage! We usually have an early dinner so the included salad bar is not fully stocked. But the usual goodies are tempting and typically rather fresh. I have to stop myself so I don't walk out feeling sick from so much food. But I am so ready to push my limits. I was in the area with some of my colleagues and we went to dinner here on a Wednesday night. The place was pretty empty; maybe 5 tables filled. We asked for some recommendations from our server. He was not too knowledgeable about the menu. Pretty much stated that it's a steakhouse and that's what is good. We all ended up doing the all you can eat bbq; which is where they come to your table with a sword with meats on it. Buffet was not impressive and meats were good, with the exception of the 2-3 times it was brought to the table very underdone; bloody and very rare. We mentioned that to the meat slicer, and got not much response (language barrier). The picanha came out twice, which is good. The first time it was perfectly cooked; medium / medium rare. The second time it was rare and half of our table did not want it like that. We did not see our server at all for the rest of the night. It was not busy; we could see him hanging out at the cash register chatting away; with his back facing us. We did not get refills on water and when we wanted to order a second round of drinks we had to wave the server multiple times. We saw other tables being taken care of; a dessert table was rolled to their table when they were done. When we were finished with dinner; we waited a good 10-15 minutes. Then waived down another server (ours was still chatting with his back towards us). Our server then finally came to our table; asked how everything was (first time he did). We told him some of the meats were very raw / undercooked. He asked if we were sure we had enough? Offered grilled pineapple. No dessert table for us. We then asked for the check. He did not get us our check. After 10 minutes or so; I went to the cashier and paid. I now regret giving 10% tip; that's how bad the service was. First time ever trying this place out. I was really excited to give it a try. We were taken to our table and our server Hugo came over and asked us what we wanted to drink. He recommended that we order the calamari as he raved it being the best calamari he has ever had and it's not because he works here. So we decided to order that. We all decided to do the brasilia but no pork as we can't have that. We did the second option of all different types of steaks and a shish kebab (which they never brought over to us) and we ordered sides. We ordered fried yuka, plantains, rice and beans (comes with the meal) salad and mashed potatoes. The calamari came out and it looked pretty good but it wasn't amazing or the best as he claimed. Expected there to be marinara as a dipping sauce for it but instead we got a cocktail sauce and I was not a fan. Next came out the sides and as we were placing the sides on our plates the meats started to come out. That was the only thing I was looking forward to having, as I am a steak kinda girl. Some of the steaks tasted good and some i preferred to not eat but i ate it anyways. Once we hit our limits on how much food we got full on, we told the men who were brining out the meats to us that we were done eating. Through out all of this, we never saw our waiter approach our table one time on his own without having one of us having to flag him down. He was paying more attention to a table full of elderly men who seemed to be in their late 60's drunk and he was drinking with them. After we ate they brought over pineapple with cinnamon on it and we ended up asking for our check and then we left. I only am giving this place a 3 star is for spaced out seating, food was decent, and other people were coming to check up on us and not our server. The buffet table had various tasty prepared salads (such as a wonderful beet salad), black beans, and Collard Greens that were particularly outstanding. Of course, the picanha is always the star of the show for me as was the fillet mignon wrapped in bacon. The servers made sure to keep coming back to our table with these offerings. Pork wrapped in bacon was another hit. We tried desserts and the reports were uneven: maracuja pudding was the best, chocolate cake was good but the strawberry cheesecake you can forget. The free parking in their lot was very easy. Without this convenience we would have had to battle the streets of the Ironbound for parking.
