I came here for by birthday dinner after my brother had recommended this chain several times. They have 3 locations in New Jersey. It was not a bad drive from College Point, around 40 minutes crossing the bridge. Parking is super limited since they have a small parking lot and street parking could be a little challenging. The restaurant is very small but very cozy. Their decor is very elegant with low lighting. I really loved the service and how attentive our waiter was; he gave recommendations and explained the whole rodizio experience. They have a small salad bar with a selection of cold pasta salad, Caesar salad, arugula salad, white rice and different sauces. The waiter brought sweet plantains and cheesy bread balls to the table which were both absolutely delightful. Now the meats; I honestly enjoyed all the meats but my favorite were the skirt steak, picanha, chorizo and the chicken hearts. I loved that they bring the meat to your liking temperature wise; we requested medium well which was so juicy and tasty. You definitely get your moneys worth since you can keep repeating as much as you want. They end the meal with a beautiful slice of pineapple with cinnamon which is sweet. Since it was my birthday, my boyfriend requested a tres leches for the table which was honestly the most delicious tres leches I have ever had. It was a generous portion and was so moist and sweet. I'm a pretty big eater and so are my brother and my friend. From time to time we'll get a craving to just eat a bunch of food. This time our particular craving was meat so naturally rodizio was on the table. My brother recommended Brazeiro because he had a good experience there and the price was very reasonable. Technically there's a parking lot but it's hilariously small. You'll likely need to find street parking when you dine here. We were able to snag a table for 4 pretty quickly. The sides are good but not great, but that's not what you come here for. They have some meat add-ons that cost extra and they were intriguing but not enough for us to order them. The meats were delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. The server asks how you like your meats cooked prior to the service starting. They've got most of the typical cuts for rodizio and it's finished off with cinnamon-coated pineapple. Brazeiro just might be the new go-to for rodizio. read more

Went to dinner with the wife, on a Friday, no reservations. Brazeiro Churrascaria is in a small strip mall with a smaller parking lot. You're better off finding street parking. It is a small restaurant, but it is nice and intimate with smaller tables. We were seated immediately after walking in. Fortunately, the hostess informed us it was still happy hour, so we placed orders for a caipirinha and a mojito. We ordered the Rodizio Experience, which comes with access to the salad bar, fried sides, and tableside carved meats on skewers. Our drinks came, and the hostess asked how we liked our meats cooked, and we went with medium rare. The drinks were tasty, and definitely worth it at only $6 during happy hour. I tried the potato salad, Caesar salad, chickpeas, and feijoada off of the salad bar. The feijoada was especially good. The fried sides included yuca, croquets, plantains, and pao de queijo (cheese bread). All were done well. At first, i thought that the staff was skipping our table for the Rodizio Experience. But then I realized the skewers are dedicated to the table. They brought out sausage, chicken legs, garlic steak, steak wrapped in bacon, bottom sirloin, picanha, tenderloin, and beef rib. The skewers were all cooked to medium rare as I requested, and seasoned perfectly! Once we had all the meats, the hostess returned and asked us if we wanted to have another round of any particular cuts. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this restaurant yet despite. This restaurant is my favorite restaurant in Cliffside Park, it has delicious food , good drinks ( very nice selection of wine and good cocktails ) and attentive service. It may not immediately catch your eyes from the outside , but the interior is beautiful and modern. The restaurant also does fantastic job to keep it very nice and clean. Hubby and I visit this restaurant almost once every week and we still haven't feel tired of the food yet. This is really a perfect place for celebrations, for date night and for friends and family gathering, it guarantees a good time! read more

Wanted to really, really love this churrascaria as the service was first-class and excellent throughout our experience here, but, the cuts of meat just weren't our cup of tea (not to say others wouldn't like it). We strolled in on a Friday afternoon at around 12:30 for lunch with the expectation that we would do the Full Rodizio ($42 as of Dec. 2024), however, not having done much research on the menu itself prior to arriving, we were surprised to see that the restaurant had a very, very, very reasonable lunch special that we were pretty sure would also hit the spot. HOWEVER, after a very spirited debate, we decided to do the Rodizio because .... well .... , to put it bluntly, our goal was to come here to stuff our faces and every facet of our bodies with a variety of delicious cuts of steak! At the time of the day that we were here it seemed that we were the only ones dishing out some extra $$$ to try the Rodizio, so it was a bit of strange feeling being the only ones in this small restaurant having meat cooked and brought out for. Although we were informed that there would be 12 different cuts of meats, we were surprisingly greeted by 14 - all listed below here: Sausage, Chicken, Marinated Steak, Bacon-wrapped Filet Mignon, Hanger Steak, Vizio, Tenderloin Steak, Spicy Sausage, Tri-Tip Steak, Carne, Picanha, Beef Short Ribs, Skirt Steak and Pork Ribs Ohhh and need I mention some delicious Grilled Pineapple at the end as well????? First, let me start with the salad bar, which is part of the Full Rodizio. I get it, no one goes to a churrascaria for the salad bar and it's just a nice sideshow, but it was pretty much slim pickings at this one. There wasn't much of a salad bar as there were only a handful of items (e.g. seasoned chick peas, boiled eggs, corn, Caesar salad, potato salad, cole slaw, pickled onions, roasted cucumbers) there and none too appetizing-looking. We tried a miniscule portion of some of the salad bar to wet our beaks, but nothing filling as we awaited our parade of meats, which came out very shortly. Second, the meats! And, yes, they rolled out in a beautiful, non-stop succession in mostly small quantities since it was just the 2 of us having the Rodizio. However, some cuts were freshly rolled out in massive pieces, so MAJOR kudos to the restaurant for doing so for us. To sum up the meats in a single world - gamey. I absolutely adore steak and I'm typically one that says you can't go wrong when it's seasoned and cooked right, but a majority of the cuts here weren't seasoned enough in our opinions. I prefer my cuts of meat to not be too gamey and it felt like every single cut was just that. A perfect example was the bacon wrapped Filet Mignon, which overwhelmed my tastebuds with how gamey it was and I had to sort of chase it down with a maduro to restart my meal. If anything, the cuts all needed a bit more salt to bring out more of the flavors to cut through the gaminess. Also, there was no char on the tops of a majority of the steaks either, which I always look forward to as I bite into a nice cut of churrasco-served steak. We felt that the steaks needed to be cooked at a higher temp for a bit longer to get that little crisp on the top and it's quite possible that the cooking ovens weren't as strong as the ones that competitors (e.g. Fogo de Chao) use. There were definitely a few cuts that we loved though - Tri-Tip, Beef Short Ribs - but the remainder were just OK to us. I'm sure some would love how gamey the steaks are here, but it wasn't my cup of tea. At the end, we were treated to some grilled pineapple, which was delicious, but it did emit a strange smell that I couldn't quite pinpoint. By the time we were through with our meal, we felt like we had tried every cut of meat here and there were a few hits, but most of them were unfortunately misses for us. Besides the overwhelming gaminess of the steaks and lack of char on the steak tops, we still enjoyed our time here, especially the nice hospitality and friendly service. It'll be tough for us to come back in the near term, but, like I said, some folks like their steaks the way Brazeiro cooks them and I have no qualms about that at all. It's just that it wasn't the way we liked them. (FYI, the parking lot for the restaurant is super duper small with just a few spots, so street parking might be the way to go for some.) read more

Wanted to check out different Brazilian spots and this place did not disappoint! It's a cute little spot, very cozy vibe with a very welcoming owner and staff. The owner kept small talk with us and kept us entertained alongside the nonstop service of meats coming one after the other at reasonable timing. We had picked the Rodizio Full Experience which comes with a total of 12 different rotating options. They give you a choice to repeat certain ones you enjoy at the end of all 12. We loved the short ribs, hanger steak, steak with onion, marinated steak, and the garlic steak. Alongside this has a tableside of limited choices of different salads, vegetables, sauces, and white rice. At the end we were served with the homemade Brazilian cheese bread and the cinnamon pineapple. Definitely recommend getting a good serving of the pineapple!! Food: 10/10 Everything was seasoned well! The restaurant is small and even though it is a churrascaria it didn't have that Smokey feel. We opted for the picanha for 2 ($51) that came with 3 sides and the server offered chicken soup on the house. Everything was delicious. Make sure you've been fasting for at least 24 hours before trying the RODIZIO EXPERIENCE... because you will need all of the stomach room you have. I had a phenomenal time dining here. Not only was the food delicious, but the service alone deserves 5 stars. Everyone (and I really mean everyone) took such great care of us and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The entire staff had smiles on their faces the whole night and they seemed happy to be working there. It's refreshing to see such a positive environment in the restaurant industry. Our orders: *Caipirinha - Brazil's national cocktail and my new favorite drink! Made with cachaca, a spirit made from sugar cane juice, fresh limes, and sugar. It reminds me of a "weaker" but more tarty and refreshing margarita. *Rodizio Experience (~$42) - Excellent bang for your buck as it's an all you can eat option. The servers continuously bring out skewers of meat that are carved table-side. Some of the meats included are spicy sausage, crispy chicken drumsticks, marinated beef, top sirloin, picanha, skirt steak, hanger steak, filet mignon, bottom sirloin, etc. BE PREPARED TO EAT. The meat cuts are thick, juicy, and tender! Once you're stuffed with all of that protein, they will serve you roasted pineapple slices with cinnamon. Don't knock it before you try it ;) Aaaaand they will NOT STOP serving you until you ask them to hahaha. The rodizio experience includes a variety of fried appetizers - yuca fries, maduros (sweet plantains), coxinhas (potato pastries stuffed with shredded chicken), and pao de queijo (cheese bread). I LOVED the cheese bread!!! You also get access to their salad bar which includes potato salad, Caesar salad, pasta salad, chickpeas, white rice, black beans, etc. They offer two sauces - chimichurri and hot sauce but you really don't need them since the meat is flavorful already. I recommend not filling up too much on the salad bar options so you can save room for the meat cuts. *Tawny Port Dessert Wine - We finished off with something sweet to help digest. I've officially found my new wine obsession- this has harmonious blends of plum, raisin, caramel, and walnut. VERY decadent. There's no question that I will be returning here very soon, ESPECIALLY with their lunch special and Happy Hour deals. I made a reservation about a week ahead of time for my husband's birthday for a Saturday at 7 pm. I read that sitting by the bar is cool because you can see them cooking all the meats, so that's what I reserved. It turned out to be a great seat because a lot of the time, they'll stop at the bar first with the freshly grilled meats. To start, they give you some fried appetizers - yuca fries, plantains, and croquettes. This was a nice way to start the meal, especially since we were pretty hungry at that point. We had to stop ourselves from ordering more so that we didn't waste stomach real estate space. If you're doing the AYCE, there's a salad bar that's included, but it was slim pickins. They had some grilled veggies (that looked cold and soggy), various cold salads (pasta, potato, cole slaw, corn, chickpeas), rice and beans. Hubby just had some beans but we didn't get anything else because again, we wanted to save room for all the meats. Onto the meats! They give you a little card that signifies if you want the food to keep coming/you need a break or are done. Our favorites were the short rib, filet with bacon, picanha, and spicy sausage. Since I'm pregnant, I unfortunately had to eat all of my meats well done, which they were really accommodating with. Even well done, these cuts of meat were still pretty good. Though, there were other unmemorable cuts that tasted super dry. We didn't try any of the chicken because we were afraid it would be dry. There's also a grilled pineapple with cinnamon at the end of the meal. I didn't think I'd like it because I don't really like cooked fruit, but this worked. For dessert, we had some sort of "homemade" tres leches cake (which looked like somebody took a bite out of) which was actually pretty good. It wasn't too sweet and it was a nice way to end the meal. 100% my new favorite Brazilian steak house spot! I absolutely love everything about this restaurant! The food, service and ambiance are amazing! I came here twice; my first visit was on March of this year for the ayce rodizio and then I came back here to order dishes al a carte! Both times, the service was fast and friendly (for the rodizio, the meats came out non-stop!). And we were given chicken soup on the house at my last visit! Drinks wise - they have happy hour until 7 pm on weekdays with $5 sangrias and caipirinhas! I tried both and really liked them - the sangria was very fruity (definitely tasted pineapple juice!) and the caipirinha was pretty strong and limey! As for meats, the portion for al a carte were hugee - I ordered a set for 2 (skirt steak and sirloin ~$50) and the picanha entree (~$20). The combo came with 3 sides and the entree came with 2. So much food for 3 people -I had lots of left overs! The restaurant is absolutely lovely and warm inside (you wouldn't be able to tell from the outside) and there is limited parking but you can always park across the street! Braziero is our favorite date night place. Very affordable price for Brazilian BBQ (which is all-you-can-eat meats that they bring to the table). The staff is wonderful, kind and you sense they like working there. You get a very nice ambiance and a great quality of meat. If you've never done a Brazilian steak rodizio it's a very wonderful experience. They have a wonderful salad bar as part of the rodizio. Excellent place for a date night or family outing. read more

This place has a small parking lot, so parking is limited. Service was so nice. Our waitress, Hillary was so very sweet and helpful. We were a party of 6 and all choose to to the rodizio. There is an option to just order your own meal. They have a little salad bar with couple different things to choose from and dipping sauces for the meats. The meats came out great. Ridiculing or mocking of any one, particularly people from marginalized communities like the LGBTQIA , is uncalled for and 100% unacceptable. Needless to say that we will not be returning to this place or recommend it to anyone we know. First time here and I enjoyed it. I thought the food was good and not too pricey. I left pretty stuffed and had some food left to take home. Nice waitress took care of us all night and checked on us often. Forgot to pick up wine so she suggested a place nearby to get some. She opened and poured wine for us and made sure we always had water. The place is nice but kinda small so when busy I imagine a long wait. I'd have to say maybe 15 tables or less. Parking spots are very limited so park on the street or on the supermarket across. Tip is included in the check which they tell you and even circle. I would like to go back again. read more

Had a great experience at this restaurant. The ambiance, service and the food were excellent. Is a small hole in the wall that serves top quality drinks and food. Cooking with charcoal and open fire just makes food taste 10x better. I have had their full Rodizio and salad bar experience and the meat is always cooked to perfection. This time around I opted for their grilled octopus appetizer and entree of ribeye with a side of collard greens and yuca fries. Everything was cooked perfectly, Smokey and very flavorful. They brought out picanha, the tenderloin, flank steak, skirt steak, marinaded pork loin, chicken with crispy skin, steak with onions, spicy sausage, regular sausage and grilled pineapple with cinnamon. Cheap meat, tacky service, and slow attention. They only do 1 round of rodizio, and don't offer to bring anything else out. If you aren't able to finish your first round of meat you are not able to pack it. So it all went straight to the garbage, waste of our money. Not like I asked to pack the sides, only the meats to decide wether to feed it to a stray somewhere. The girl just laughed at my face when I asked, that was the most insulting part. As if it was a joke. Honestly, the location is terrible. The only nice thing is the decor inside, that's all. The chairs are too high for the tables, so it makes it uncomfortable. Never coming here again. This used to be decent when it was in WNY but even at the North Bergen location it started going down.. but now, trash. We ordered the Brazeiro mix (for 2)for take out, what a waste of money: meat: -was suppose to be picanha but I'm sure we got some sort of sirloin. We asked for medium rare but the steak is so thin that it gets over cooked. Also it was so tough and chewy. Was not eatable and a waste of money -chicken drumsticks, so dry. It seemed it cooked too long and reheated -sausage, flavor ok but also dry sides: -yuca fries, there were only 4 thick stringy pieces. Yes 4 pieces. -plantains, never had a bad plantain until now. The plantains were not ripe enough so it was more like a tostone in the middle, and there are only 4 pieces. Maybe if they cut them smaller they can give a few more pieces -rice,we ordered yellow and got white (bland) -added the black beans, no seasoning at all. I've been a fan of this family's restaurants ever since they started in West New York several years ago. Each one is very good in its own way, but this location is the jewel in the crown. If you care about wine, go! There's a reason they earned Wine Spectator recognition. Incredibly fair mark-ups and interesting selection, with South America and Portugal well represented. Not sure what to get? The owner's recommendations are always spot-on. Over several visits--for date nights, with another couple and as part of a group--my experience has always been excellent. I've ordered à la carte and had the rodizio. Can't go wrong either way. All the appetizers are terrific, with house-made sausage, coxinha and beef pasteles particular favorites. À la carte entrées are not only delicious but generous. Meats are always beautifully seared and cooked to perfection. On the few occasions I've made it to dessert, I've enjoyed the flan and the cheesecake. If you get the rodizio, don't forget to ask for the grilled pineapple to finish! There's also a small but well-chosen assortment of after-dinner drinks. The service is super friendly and efficient, and the owner's hospitality is outstanding. This is obviously a passion project for him. The space itself is modern, upscale and comfortable. There's music, but you can easily converse without shouting. Ambience will vary depending on the night and the crowd; if there are several large groups, as can happen on Saturday nights, the atmosphere will be a bit ... merrier. But tables are well enough spaced that it shouldn't be an issue. On quieter nights, this place is absolutely date-worthy. Overall, the vibe is one of conviviality. On any given night there'll be families, couples, and groups of friends of all ages and nationalities, united by a love of good food in a welcoming place. What more could you ask for? read more
