    Butternut Squash Custard

I've been here twice while in town visiting and this place does not disappoint. The butternut custard is to die for! The staff is super friendly. They have great kid options! And I love the variety of beers on tap.

Amazing food with high quality service. We are so happy we found this little gem in Steamboat!

    Trout

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and charming place, well lit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Polite staff. Husband got the trout and said it was the best Trout he had ever had but he was still hungry. I had the French dip and it was meh. We love French fries so we were excited to try their specialty fries but . Neither of us ate them and that is saying a lot for us carb loving fans. Definitely worth a trip just skip the fries.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing food and ambiance especially when the bay doors are up![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Servers are friendly and the food is delicious. Could use a little extra Brass, but they had the perfect amount of pepper.

My wife and I had dinner at Brass Kitchen and the food and craft cocktails were great. Cali was our bartender and she was great with recommendations. Cali was spot on with her recommendations. Great night.

Cute new downtown spot with great flavors. Everyone at the table thought that the food was tasty, but overly salty. Servers were prompt and attentive. I got the mezcal paloma. The paloma itself was as expected for a mezcal-based drink, I guess. I might just have a preference for a lighter, more refreshing Paloma. I wasn't a big fan of their house tajin... felt like something was missing but there wasn't enough tajin on the rim for me to determine what it was. Maybe a tad bit more lime? Sugar? Enjoyed the cassoulet -- duck confit was yum and executed well, more sausage would've been nice though (I didn't see any)!! Or even some pork belly! Both?!?! Lemon sorbet was where it was at!! OMG!

After enjoying a day in Steamboat, we grabbed dinner at Brass. It was a great pick as the staff was extremely friendly and it seemed like they knew all of the customers who highly recommended it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our server was great and we dined outside on the patio as it was a lovely temperature.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was tasty but I wish they offered more pescatarian options! The seasonal pasta was tasty but a little too watery because of the squash. The pancetta sandwich was absolutely delicious but very heavy so I'd recommend a side salad to balance it out!

    Raclette over fingerling potatoes

Came for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Fun interior and ambiance suitable for groups of all sizes. All the dishes stood out and weren't overly heavy. We shared the spicy pork ribs, fingerling potatoes and the ratatouille as appetizers. Instead of cheese, the raclette was served with fingerling potatoes, sweet peppers, apple slices and an IPA-infused mustard The salad was fresh and refreshing-- we loved the pistachios with champagne vinaigrette. For entrees we shared the pork cheeks and the baked barramundi. The pork cheeks were super tender and flavorful and had lots of sauce that was absorbed by the fluffy Jasmine rice. The veggies it came with were thoughtfully prepared and definitely not an afterthought. The barramundi was tender but crisp on the outside. The miso-shiitake broth it came with was genius and highlighted the fish well. I really appreciated how none of the entrees were overly protein-centric-- each of the sides were well-made and delicious in their own right. We enjoyed the meal and finished it by sharing the peanut butter cheesecake (more mousse than cheesecake which was fun). Definitely will be back next time we visit Steamboat!

This visit, we ordered the Watermelon Gazpacho (GF), Beef Short Rib Anticucho (GF), and Ensalada de Manzana y Manchego (GF). The Beef Short Rib Anticucho was the star of the meal, at least for me, I honestly wanted more because it was so good! The salad was also delicious and, while definitely more apple-heavy than greens, they were happy to accommodate my request for extra greens. My only criticism is that the menu doesn't mention the compressed watermelon in the gazpacho is infused with sangria. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, I could definitely taste it and wish that had been disclosed on the menu. Overall, Besame remains one of my favorite spots in Steamboat. Consistently great food, great service, and always a solid dining experience.

We ordered about 10 different toppers for the table, so it was pretty good odds to find a couple that weren't winners, but I have to be honest. The ambience is so cute, very swanky, but anything in Colorado still feels casual because everyone shows up in flannels and T-shirts. We had a 5 o'clock reservation and were sat right on time, and the service was really great. I started with a Pisco sour, one of my favorite drinks and really uncommon to find in this part of the world. It was delicious. I could've drank five of them. We shared a bunch of tapas for the table, starting with the patatas bravas, octopus, ceviche, duck wings, yuca frita, croquetas, gyozas, and shishito peppers. The clear winner was the ceviche - not your typical Peruvian style, made with salmon and a thicker aji amarillo sauce. It was absolutely amazing and served with these yummy plantain chips that paired so well with it. Those were also a big standout. The texture was perfect both outside and inside. I liked the octopus too, and the patatas bravas were good but felt they could have been a little more crispy on the outside and had the sauce more well-distributed. The wings really were not memorable, overly breaded and thickly sauced. The yuca was the biggest letdown of the night, usually one of my favorite dishes, but these tasted like they came frozen from a bag and did not even finish microwaving before they were served. Still, I loved some of these dishes so much that I would definitely come back and stick with what I liked and try some new things too. Thanks!

Our waiter was personable and professional and gave some great recommendations. I had the old fashion as my cocktail choice. Not sure what bourbon they used but it was so smooth I had two. We also split the cauliflower wings and Brussel sprouts amongst five of us. The sprouts were perfect as were the wings. For dinner my friend and I split the burger (a happy hour special). I'm glad we split it as there was no way I could have eaten the whole thing. I didn't think to ask if the beef was house ground but it was really good regardless. We had pimento added, which as a southern, I appreciated the option. Would definitely be on my circuit as a casual but nice place to go.

After my first one I had to use an entire cloth napkin to clean it off my hands, and then asked for another one. When I got to the 2nd taco it was falling apart because of the mayo tsunami, I used my 2nd napkin to cleanup from this one. Then I started on number 3 there was no way to pick it up, had to use knife and fork. The Bistro Steak My wife enjoyed the seasoning, and the potatoes and veggie, she had 2 pieces left and she gave me one. One side was well done the other was rare, She ordered medium. I don't know how you could cook a 1 inch steak rare on one side and well done on the other. I didn't eat it. Finally the desert, it was really good, large cookie with ice cream - excellent. We also had coffees with desert and it was one of the better coffee's I have had in a long time. A little better quality control would have made this a great dinner
