Charcuterie

Wow! A culinary treat. Great wine. Charcuterie is nothing short of a work of art. The Relleno De Maz is amazing! Bravo! You're cheating yourself if you don't visit this spot.

Great N/A selection

Such a fun little spot! Great cocktails and the best n/a selection in town. An amazing cheese plate and tapas style menu. They also have a great little imported foods section for you to take home. Delish!

Thank you so much for a wonderful charcuterie board. You exceeded our expectations We had a wonderful meal and we had a Zinfandel from California to co with it. 10 You all are amazing. We loved how friendly and happy everyone working there are. And your pairing is incredible. Thank you

Nice atmosphere! Had the wine and platter for two. Delicious combo of items to eat that went with our wine. You are also able to purchase food items in the store as well. A must stop on Lincoln street while in Steamboat Springs, CO

We stopped by for lunch after a day on the mountain. We sat at the bar area and had an excellent experience. The service was amazing and they gave great recommendations. Even better that it's woman owned and operated!

Plate of surprises, all good.

Unhappy because I don't live in Steamboat Springs. We ate at Meatbar earlier this week and I am still thinking about this lovely lunch we had. We each had individual charcuterie boards with the most unique and tasty selection of all the little special extras that come with the very best meats and cheeses. Sorry I only remember the name of one the meats. It was speck. We also each had wine and I chose the Tempranillo. It went so well with everything. Hopefully my photo will illustrate just how attractive and delicious a well selected charcuterie board can be!

Amazingly good for a mountain town. A genuine gastronomic experience at a fair price.

This visit, we ordered the Watermelon Gazpacho (GF), Beef Short Rib Anticucho (GF), and Ensalada de Manzana y Manchego (GF). The Beef Short Rib Anticucho was the star of the meal, at least for me, I honestly wanted more because it was so good! The salad was also delicious and, while definitely more apple-heavy than greens, they were happy to accommodate my request for extra greens. My only criticism is that the menu doesn't mention the compressed watermelon in the gazpacho is infused with sangria. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, I could definitely taste it and wish that had been disclosed on the menu. Overall, Besame remains one of my favorite spots in Steamboat. Consistently great food, great service, and always a solid dining experience.

We ordered about 10 different toppers for the table, so it was pretty good odds to find a couple that weren't winners, but I have to be honest. The ambience is so cute, very swanky, but anything in Colorado still feels casual because everyone shows up in flannels and T-shirts. We had a 5 o'clock reservation and were sat right on time, and the service was really great. I started with a Pisco sour, one of my favorite drinks and really uncommon to find in this part of the world. It was delicious. I could've drank five of them. We shared a bunch of tapas for the table, starting with the patatas bravas, octopus, ceviche, duck wings, yuca frita, croquetas, gyozas, and shishito peppers. The clear winner was the ceviche - not your typical Peruvian style, made with salmon and a thicker aji amarillo sauce. It was absolutely amazing and served with these yummy plantain chips that paired so well with it. Those were also a big standout. The texture was perfect both outside and inside. I liked the octopus too, and the patatas bravas were good but felt they could have been a little more crispy on the outside and had the sauce more well-distributed. The wings really were not memorable, overly breaded and thickly sauced. The yuca was the biggest letdown of the night, usually one of my favorite dishes, but these tasted like they came frozen from a bag and did not even finish microwaving before they were served. Still, I loved some of these dishes so much that I would definitely come back and stick with what I liked and try some new things too. Thanks!

After my first one I had to use an entire cloth napkin to clean it off my hands, and then asked for another one. When I got to the 2nd taco it was falling apart because of the mayo tsunami, I used my 2nd napkin to cleanup from this one. Then I started on number 3 there was no way to pick it up, had to use knife and fork. The Bistro Steak My wife enjoyed the seasoning, and the potatoes and veggie, she had 2 pieces left and she gave me one. One side was well done the other was rare, She ordered medium. I don't know how you could cook a 1 inch steak rare on one side and well done on the other. I didn't eat it. Finally the desert, it was really good, large cookie with ice cream - excellent. We also had coffees with desert and it was one of the better coffee's I have had in a long time. A little better quality control would have made this a great dinner

The bar area with the TV seems a little out of place, but I like sports so I'm good with it. The staff were incredibly, incredibly knowledgeable about their food. Most knowledgeable waitress I've probably ever encountered. We ordered the Wild Mushroom Arancini and Whipped Feta & Bruschetta for the table and together they were the perfect appetizer for four people. I'm usually not a fan of wild mushrooms, but it worked well with the crispy arancini. The whipped feta & bruschetta was a nice cooling change of pace, but I wish they gave you a couple more bread bits. For an entree I went with the interesting pork cheeks. They are literally pig cheeks, like the cheeks from their face. And I absolutely loved them! They reminded me a bit of chicharrones, but softer. They were supposed to be sriracha based, but I barely tasted sriracha, so that left me wanting more. The broccolini made up for it, but that's because broccoli/lini makes everything better. Definitely make this a stop when you're in Steamboat Springs.

The service was amazing - our waiter was funny, knowledgeable and checked on us often. Everything we got was very good. We ordered a variety of apps and entrees -see pics. There seems to be a "neighborhood bar" ambiance with several diners greeting staff like regulars. We also had a sommelier come to the table who helped with wine choices (he was super chill, helpful - not too formal like some soms can be). Would recommend this restaurant!
