You the get the warehouse vibe right away on entering from the high ceiling to the open floor plan…read more We were seated at a high table that was in need of a serious cleaning as it was sticky, most likely because of the disinfectant I witnessed then using. We came by for lunch and some drinks. The tap beer list is quite disappointing with only about 6 brews with Coors and Coors Light being two of them. The wife ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which was battered chicken strips that (as she put it) didn't remind her of buffalo chicken. She actually added Tabasco for added spice. I got the smoked beef sandwich which arrived lightly toasted and well dressed with both horseradish and truffle aiolis. The beef was nice and tender but for 15$ kinda lacked substance and smoke flavor. The fries and onion rings were very good and well seasoned.

The marinara sauce it came with was extremely bland it tasted like tomato paste with no seasoning. The caesar salad on the other hand was amazing. It came with a lot of chicken and the croutons were fresh. For an entree we split the Reuben. The reuben and fries were slightly above average quality wise. The meat was fresh but it could've used more thousand island dressing. Overall this place was pretty average. It was a nice little stop on our road trip. The food wasn't bad by any means but I would come here if you're looking for middle of the line food with a menu with lots of options.

Well, she rents a car and makes that 4 hour drive to the small hole in the wall venue to see them! I saw Pepper play here on a Thursday night. As expected for this band, there was a line up to get in at least an hour before doors opened! This venue was perfect for me to see an amazing band up close and personal! When you first enter the building this is where the bathrooms and bar and merch sales take place. Then you walk down to where the music takes place. There are no seats (at least I dont remember there being any). There were sort of three levels to it. The most lower level we'll call the "pit" because really that is where you go to be as close as possible to whoever it is that you are seeing. Then there were two more levels with a handfull of bar tables to put a drink or two on. Each level was separated by railing. It does seem like an older building, but I think that really just adds to the ambience of the venue. :) There are plenty of eateries in walking distance if you want to grab a bite before a show. Parking is street parking. I didn't see a garage in the area, then again I am not a local, so I can only state what I saw as I was driving around looking for a spot to park. I'd see a show here again if the opportunity arrises.

This place is just another poorly conceived nightlife destination concocted by some guy who thought…read more"Hey, I bet running a successful nightclub will be EASY!". A new coat of paint doesn't mask the cheap mismatched furniture, or the hulking mass of dated sound equipment littering a stage that could use a revamp itself. "VIP areas" are clearly marked by loose pieces of printer paper with "VIP" in Times New Roman. The lock on the bathroom stall door doesn't lock, and there is unfinished wood screwed to finished wood in the construction. Not even a mirror. Dirty. The staff seems friendly. Not a fan of the music mix. Top 40 from 5 years ago, plus country music here and there. A little dubstep. There is nothing extreme about this place. It looks like they stopped halfway through the remodel and just went for it. Probably isn't a terrible place to go if Infinity is too far. They had a free limo ride promotion, but I don't expect that will last. Every time I've been there it never seems to get very busy , and the demographics of the clientele are all over the place. Some rough biker gang types, and what looked like someone's parents were in there last time I was there. On the bright side, the taco truck next to the entrance has decent pork tacos for $2.00, so it's not a total loss. I've heard that Latino Night on Sundays seem to have the best draw for them. It's not close to anything, and they seem to have absolutely no web presence whatsoever. I had to create the location to write this review. Their Facebook page is Shock After, for example. They have a nice big stage, but to date they have this strange go-go cage up there that no one dances in. They've been open for about a month or two at the time of this review. I wouldn't recommend this place above other places doing the same thing. I think if it were trying to be just a bar, they'd probably be a decent one, but the nightclub focus kinda keeps it from being great at either one. If you want $10 at the door, you'll have to do a lot better than that.

This is very much an American version of an Irish pub - basically an American bar with all sorts of green everywhere. The hostess was welcoming until she went to seat us at the table right next to the door when there was tons of open seating. So I asked for a different table and she seemed put off by the request. Our server was Brittney and she took our order. I ordered the Highlander Sliders and hubby ordered the Irish Stew and the Malted Vinegar Chips. I checked to be sure the sliders would be well done. When our food arrived, it all looked fairly good. The sliders were burnt, though. Well done doesn't equate to charring the outsides. They were dried out because of that but the sauce they use helped. They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. Overall this was somewhat of a let down. I was really looking forward to a good dining experience but they missed the mark.
