The food is delicious - we had the fresh mozzarella (it's a must when visiting here), the heirloom tomatoes, and the Ribs. All of it was fantastic. The highlight of our night was sitting at the bar with Bryan and Bryan - the cocktails were true art! They put so much care into what they were making and it was fun to watch. The service was also wonderful. Definitely a favorite stop in all of Napa Valley.

What an amazing meal. We were big fans of tra vigne back in the day too. One thing that jumps out is how beautiful everything is. The salads, drinks, pasta, mains, are all so attractive. You gotta get the mozzarella. I will admit that while it is served tableside. Tra vigne had a little more showmanship with it. Also it is not on the menu so you have to ask for it. I got the short rib pasta. Definitely a winner. Very satisfying. My wife got the ahi salad which had loads of fresh ingredients and very tasty. Service was very attentive and professional, this is a must do in Napa Valley

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I always choose a seat outside by the pizza ovens for the best dinner ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is fresh and seasonal. Don't miss the corn soup when it's on the menu! They also kindly customized a red sauce vegetarian dish for my dietary restrictions that was perfection-thank you!!

Absolutely phenomenal! Drinks: 1. The Blood Moon (my fave--amazing), 2. Lychee drink (tasty) App: mozzarella with the most amazing, warm soft bread and a side of prosciutto & arugula-hazelnut pesto. This is A MUST main course: lamb chops with pearl couscous and some greens I could have done without. But the lamb was heavenly. THIS IS A MUST GO

The mozzarella in olive oil secret menu item is soooo soooo good! Must go try it if you are in the area! The outdoor seating area is delightful when the weather is nice. Service is polite and fast.

4.5 stars! We had a blast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place has great ambience & outdoor dining space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great. Our waiter made our experience 100x better. He had a great sense of humor. He was helpful with dishes & being attentive while giving us space to enjoy our time. Drinks: enjoyed our cocktail & wine. - oysters: very yummy & fresh and perfectly shocked. - Arancini: they were just fine, wasn't impressed. - Scallop risotto: very tasty & perfectly cooked, loved it. - pork chop: another great dish, couldn't be better. - Tiramisu: yum! Light, yet creamy & tasty.

We did the lunch and wine pairing here based on a recommendation from a nearby winery and wow this was my best meal of the trip. The wine paired perfectly and was so drinkable. The food was AMAZING!!! We added the fresh mozzarella and it was so tender and chewy and perfect. The arugula salad still lives rent free in my mind, the perfect combination of flavors. The lamb chop was phenomenal and I'm not big on lamb in general. The dessert was panne cotta with salted caramel and this also continues to live rent free in my mind. Service was great, attentive but not rushing us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside had a lot of seating options, we were in a booth which felt very cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We made a reservation ahead of time online. This is top of my list to come back to in my next visit.

    Short Rib Sugo $28
    Vanessa S.

We came here during beginning of December for some R&R and we were pleased with our experience. The food was delicious; we shared everything including the short rib sugo, the duck leg risotto, fritto misto (super delicious), the persimmon and prosciutto salad and of course their popular panna cotta dessert. Their menu rotates and is seasonal so the dessert images and other items that you see on Yelp does not reflect their current options. I saw a seafood pasta on Yelp (what better place to read about a restaurant than Yelp!) and was told it was no longer on the menu. Nonetheless, everything was delicious and we wish there were larger portions bc we were a bit hungry that evening after a long but restful spa day. The service was not bad, it just seemed to be longer than the other tables. The ambiance was ok, it was a little too dark for our liking but thankfully we got to sit in a comfy booth. The hostess as first seated us in a not-so-comfy 2 seater with the chairs feeling sunk-in. We had a reservation and came early. We will probably be back in the future when we are in the area again.

Brasswood was recommended to us, so we stopped by after our wine tasting which was close by. I love duck so the duck bolognese captivated my interest right off the bat. The ambiance is dark and kind of cabin-like, very cozy. We ordered the mozzarella bread (off-menu item that was hyped up to us), fried arancini balls with pesto sauce, and the duck bolognese. Both the mozzarella bread and fried arancini balls could have used a touch more of salt. The duck bolognese was good, but to be honest it tasted like a regular bolognese with zero hint of duck, which was a bit disappointing. Service was okay, I did have to ask for my water to be refilled. In the future if I were in the area after a nearby winery tasting, there's a chance I may stumble back here and try a few different items.

After visiting Rombauer winery in St Helena, we asked for a recommendation for lunch and our server told us about this place...mainly for the fresh mozzarella. We arrived about 11:30 am and got seated in a nice booth with our Friends. We started off with the mozzarella appetizer, I believe not listed on the menu. They came with that first and presented table side. This dish was absolutely amazing...I wish I would have ordered this thing for lunch. Everyone at the table just loved it. Hub got the arancini with pesto... this was so wonderfully fresh and the fries that were also amazing. I got the Brussels sprout warm salad...extremely tasty... and our friends got the pizza and they really applauded that. This is really a great restaurant with great food and I will be sure to return if in the area....

Seriously one of the best meals I've had in a long time; had scallops and they were so lovely and delicate. And they were super-accommodating to gluten- and dairy-free needs. Also - fun fact - you can get half-orders of the pasta and salads, and the portions are still quite large. The famous handmade mozzarella - prepared table-side - was truly outstanding. The duck bolognese was a table favorite, even with the gluten-free pasta. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The one downside is how incredibly loud it is inside. Hard to hear each other and the waitstaff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Kristal R.

You have to get the fresh mozzarella!! I had heard about it but doubted it would be that amazing but I was wrong....it's that amazing!! I'm not a big toasted bread person so the brought me lettuce and it went perfectly!! I also went to Prague last year so I was shocked too see absinthe on the menu so I had to have that. The service was fantastic too. They are attentive but never intrusive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is absolutely fantastic as well. Right off the main road and your can do a tasting in the gift shop beside it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Wife TikTok's "food in Napa" and first one was Brasswood! All great things spoken about here so we had to try! We made reservations around 7pm we arrived early because we seen there is also a winery there as well so we wanted to see the outside and surrounding area. All was unkept to the best top quality landscape. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside the restaurant was very nice. A lot of nice decor and looked nice lit up at night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was very friendly and our waiter was amazing. The appetizer was the fried Calamari and the toasted bread with mozzarella on top. Both were so good our fav was the cheese that was top tier . We did order drinks I had a Russian river IPA very good beer and wife's drink was recommended by waiter and she loved it! My pork chop dish was amazing! I wish I had ordered another to go! If have a sweet tooth the dessert menu was great as well! This early turned into a spot we must come to when Napa.

I originally had dinner reservations elsewhere and changed it to this place bc of all the reviews I'd read and so many locals said this was their favorite place. The food was ok. Let's just say my favorite dish was the SALAD (miso caesar). The steak tartare was disappointing. While it looked good, it lacked flavor. The bread which we ordered (was not complimentary) was hard. We took the lamb and $13 rice to go. I tasted the lamb before we left and it was pretty salty. Although service was mostly good, our serve did not offer us an alcoholic beverage. We thought maybe he forgot, but after visiting our table at least 3-4 times in the first 20 mins, we were never asked if wanted one. We decided with all the food we ordered, we'll just grab a drink elsewhere afterwards. The other thing is the server suggested putting in the order all at once and that they would space it out. This is bc they cook most of their proteins over an open fire. So we did what was recommended and EVERYTHING, but the entrée came out five minutes after we ordered it. This is why we ended up taking our lamb and rice home...we were full from eating everything else that was supposed to be spaced out. Also, everything came out so fast, we were there for just 45 mins. Anyway, I'm sure this was just a one-off situation, but I was highly disappointed bc I had convinced my hubby that this place was all the rage. I would disagree after my visit. I might go back one day, but to be honest, there are sooo many restaurants to dine at, I don't think I would be back soon unless a friend suggested it. Side Note: Parking was easy as they have a designated parking lot and there are also lots of side street parking.

It looked like a nice place, and we decided we would return the following day for a visit. We came in for some drinks and to enjoy the swanky interior. Dark, sexy vibes, very nicely done. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name, but he was terrific, friendly, engaging, and down-to-earth. He made us some great drinks (lemon drop for me, tequila & lime for my partner - we're such one trick ponies), and later showed us around the place. There is a lot of history in the building.
