Visited the Four Season's Truss Bar to indulge in their Golden Hour Menu. We were hosted by Carlos at the bar who made us feel right at home with explaining the menu, getting creative with drinks, and being extremely hospitable to myself and my husband. We started off with the Truss My Old Fashioned and Sunset Negroni. My first Old Fashioned was spirit forward, classic, and good. I also loved the Sunset Negroni's flavor profile where there was depth in what notes pulled forward. During our second round, my husband got the Silverado Manhattan and an Old Fashioned that was curated specially by Carlos. He not only pulled sweeter noted t pair with banana but also smoked the cocktail. It had amazing tasting notes to create depth of flavors. Additionally, we tried the Onion Dip & Bruschetta which we both enjoyed sharing. The complimentary truffle popcorn and savory crunches were a nod to another bar near home for us. We enjoy our time at Truss and even more with Carlos. We felt like family and enjoyed the unique profiles Carlos created for us to try.

The evening was quite spectacular. We had family and friends join us The scene and setting are amazing. From the moment we walked up into the restaurant we felt that we were comfortable in at home. We were directed to our seats, where our friends were already waiting. we had the best waiter. He was attentive to care of us and unobtrusive, but yet erved us exceptionally well. However, it wasn't just our waiter. It was the team that came together and served us holistically. The ambience was phenomenal. This was not a hotel lobby or area. This was a restaurant with a bustling bar a bustling area to sit in a terrific although small area for dinner. Dinner, consisted of several entrées appetizers and shared and shared food. We all enjoyed the spectacular dishes, the way they were cooked and the textures and varieties. As you can see from the pictures, this is not a run of the mill restaurant. I am going to go back again and again and again. This is a place that will be our go to point. it is pricey, so bring your credit card, but at the same time the value quality and service, ambience, and beauty of the place make up for it. I highly recommend this place!!!

Party of 8 - spent $131 per person after taxes and tips. Dinner started great - got there at 6:15pm. Starters were the star of the show. Had 2 dozen oysters and they were as smooth and sweet as ever! The truffle fries were yummy - crispy outside and soft inside. Seabass ceviche with house made chips were tasty - the fish was cured well! Steak Tartare was pretty good for red meat tartare fans - creamy! The Burrata salad was also a win with the accompanying items! Myself and two others who got the Tagliatelle Caccio e Pepe were not very happy with it. Not enough pecorino or salt and the salt shaker they gave our table was not very good at getting out salt. Thank goodness for the side order of mushrooms I mixed into the pasta - otherwise it would have just tasted like butter noodles. All in all - the vibe of the interior was very posh and nice - service was mediocre - we didn't finish dinner until 9:15pm. Definitely a vibe dine over service timing. Food was good and cocktails were yummy but nothing phenomenal enough to go out of my way to come back.

Lovely property but the food is not impressive. A more creative menu would make a great difference. $15 onion dip and pizzas was such a let down for me. Service was good, a little slow but I appreciated the purse stool and conversation I had with my server

Golden hour is amazing! From the cocktails to all the food selections! The prices are reasonable. The staff is welcoming and very attentive.

The service was amazing! It's a beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view of the wine vineyards!

First evening server was not attentive, plus they switched serves ( maybe someone went on break), but was just cold. The only difference made a manager-make with glasses, is super real FS person. Food was good though, and the fireplace is cute Breakfast is kind of nothing special-if you stay in the hotel/or need a one before go out, or if just lazy. Otherwise there are a lot of cool almost iconic places around

This place is not only esthetically pleasing, it's delicious. It's healthy and the menu is vegetarian friendly. A variety of vegetarian options which i appreciated. The chilaquiles were so good, I didn't need to add anything . My friends enjoyed their food always and said the French toast was good also. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Made us feel welcomed and I loved the complimentary birthday cake she brought me. Great atmosphere. All the food was delicious and resonably portioned. We had mimosas and they also good. The outside seating area is beautiful with such a great view .

I wanted to get in the holiday spirit so I booked a winter chalet. I was really excited especially since this would be at the four seasons. There is valet and self parking here. The ambiance of the chalet was really cute and festive. There are many christmas trees and everything looked lit and classy. My brother and I were seated right away. Our server was ok. I don't think she ever introduced herself. I never heard her name. She got the job done though. The person refilling our water and giving us clean utensils was very polite and attentive. The water was refilled several times. We ordered the fondue, smores, and beef cheek poutine. There was one smore per person. It was fun to roast the big square marshmallows. It was very sticky. It would have been nice to have like a wet washcloth after that. My brother enjoyed the s'mores. The fondue was just ok. It came with little cuts of asparagus, tiny potatoes cut into halves, cauliflower, and small bread pieces. I was a little underwhelmed. the beef poutine was a large portion. We didn't finish it. it was kind of salty. I still had a good time. I recommend going for the overall experience. It would be a great date night idea.

Look no further--this is your next breakfast spot! Everything was freaking delicious, and even the coffee was divine. The pics say it all--trust me, it tastes as good as it looks!

Beautiful property, with awesome view and ambiance. My wife and I went for lunch, sat outside on the patio area and had Burrata Salad, Oysters, Mezzi Rigatoni and Chickpea Falafel. Complimented with some nice wine pairings for our meals, All were delicious and service was great. Our server Fernanda was very attentive and pleasant. Maybe a little pricey (it is the Four Seasons after all), but otherwise no complaints at all.

Visited Truss for dinner during our stay at the Solage across the street and it was absolutely amazing. The restaurant is located on the property of the Four Seasons Hotel so as you would expect from the establishment of that caliber, the place looks very upscale. All staff were friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. We ordered a lot of food for the two of us thinking we would have leftovers, but everything was so delicious that not only did we not have any leftovers, we couldn't resist the temptation to eat dessert. Everything we tried from oysters and ceviche, to filet and pasta to tiramisu and a cobbler was simply excellent. Everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. We will definitely visit Truss again.

Truss and Believe * We are staying at the BEAUTIFUL Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley and caught lunch at their restaurant TRUSS Restaurant + Bar . Highly recommend everything we have tried over the past week but I'll narrow down some for this post . From the views overlooking the TWO pools to the villas scattered amongst actual grape vines, everything was perfection. For bites, we got the Salmon, Truffle Fries, Tuna Crudo & Mezzi Rigatoni. Chefs kiss on everything ordered But we can't forget about the cocktails, riiiight?! We chose Pick Me Up (tweak espressotini), Fennel Wears Prada, Smokey the Pear and Spring is Here. All superb and full of flavor Attentive staff and fast delivery seals the deal * If you ever get a chance to come to #NapaValley and stay at the #FourSeasonsCalistoga, don't skip out on Truss. Truss and Believe me, you won't regret any choice here

First, my brother ordered this drink called the "Devil Went Down to Georgia" named after the Charlie Daniels song. It came out in a box filled with smoke! What a majestic entrance for a drink. Then, we had some divine oysters, and they brought us an adorable Tabasco bottle for some extra flavor. For our entrées, I was very impressed by how everyone's dish was so well done. I had the salmon cooked rare, and it came with a delicious sauce and roe that combined very well. Some of the best salmon I've ever had. My dad ordered a pizza, my brother ordered duck, and my mom ordered pork ribs. The pizza and duck were fantastic. I was surprised they could make such an excellent pizza. The duck was tender and delicious. The pork ribs were pretty good, but there wasn't a lot of meat on each bone. Regarding service, it was very nice of the staff to accommodate my mom's request of bringing out the box of smoke for the drink again. She was disappointed she couldn't get a video, and they ended up bringing another one of the same drink in the box, so she could film the delivery the second time. Then we ordered a bunch of food to share and they brought everything out slowly so we could eat it after it was freshly made. With excitement in her eyes, she described the delicious tropical-inspired cocktails with good vibes to match. Since I had an upcoming birthday, I bookmarked the restaurant so that we would remember to visit it during our stay in Calistoga. After arriving in Calistoga on a Friday evening, my wife and I thought that it would be appropriate to have dinner and drinks at Robert's. Upon walking through the entrance of the restaurant, we observed a nice backyard-style layout with televisions tuned to the NBA playoffs, patrons enjoying glasses of wine, and a DJ playing smooth yacht rock tunes. A friendly employee informed us that it was open seating, so we sat ourselves along the padded seating in close proximity to the DJ. Shortly afterwards, a server came by to take our orders. My wife ordered the short rib, garlic fries, and the Sip It Slowly cocktail; I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Dumplings (suggested by the server), and the Jerk Old Fashioned. While we awaited our orders, the server brought us a delicious miniature size soup - which was absolutely delicious and definitely a tease! Shortly after, our drinks arrived. I found my drink to be delicious, strong, and was intrigued by the flavor that the little piece of submerged jerky provided. However, I will admit that I was a bit jealous when I snuck a couple sips of my wife's delicious cocktail. Up until the arrival of our meals, I was impressed. My wife found the short ribs to be just ok; additionally, her fries were lukewarm upon arrival and dry (as if they were overcooked). I have had Jamaican jerk chicken in Jamaica, so my expectations were very high. Unfortunately, the chicken was not flavorful and did not have the "kick (spice)" that I anticipated. Surprisingly, the highlight here was the dumplings (delicious!) and the Hint of Passion cocktail that I ordered (if I had a signature drink- this would be it!). I really should have listened to my intuition when we initially observed that a majority of the other patrons were just indulging in drinks, no food. When our server brought us the bill totaling roughly $160, I couldn't help but feel like the food was not in alignment with the price point. I wanted so badly to like this establishment, but honestly could not see myself returning for anything other than one of their cocktails.

This place is so cool and definitely worth a stop when you're in Calistoga…read more We stopped by for a quick lunch and were immediately led into the distillery, which can only be described as impressive. Boasting high ceilings with exposed wood beams and a beautifully decorated bar area, the space oozes with rustic class and would make a great venue for any party or group gathering. We, however, came in for a sit down lunch with two kids and the small lounge seats and tables were not the best setup for a family meal. Which is the only thing keeping me from giving this place five stars. Similarly, the menu was also catered more to adults, with plenty of vegan options but very few items suitable for kids. That's not a knock on this place, just something to take note of. As a result, we opted to snack on a few items and the caviar and duck fat fries did not disappoint. The espresso martini with pumpkin foam was also excellent. But the really cool part about this place is the vintage train cars, each intricately decorated and offering their own dining/drinking experience. For example, one offers an oyster bar with underwater decor while another features a cowboy bar with real saddles as bar seats. The cleverness in design and attention to detail is impressive and is what makes this place special. I doubt there is a more interesting place to have lunch in Calistoga. I'm a fan of what they're doing here and would love to come back. Minus the kids of course.
