Will preface review with this: I came on a Sunday evening for my birthday and it was quite empty, maybe less than 10 tables. Saw 4k reviews on Google so was a bit surprised to see. To start off, the staff were all very pleasant and attentive. Since it was my birthday, the dessert we ordered was on the house which was a nice surprise. Now on to the not so great--Maybe because it was so empty that the self serve bar seemed like everything sat for past their prime. Had an array of salad, cheese, etc. nothing you'd want to go back for seconds. On to the meat -- each piece tasted more or less like the last. I will say, the filet mignon was tender as expected. I came here on a week night so wasn't very busy but still made a reservation. The restaurant itself is pretty large, plenty of seating and very nice inside. I had great service from every one of the staff I came in contact with. The food itself was amazing. The salad bar had plenty of great tasting options as well as some hot items you could choose from next to it. The meat options were all great tasting to where I forgot how many times the meat cutters came by to add to my plate. They also frequently went walking around so there wasn't a long wait time in-between to get something you wanted. Overall I had a great experience celebrating my anniversary dinner here. The place is beautiful and the chairs were really comfy - I know that's a weird note but the comfiness is worth noting haha. We opted for the full experience - salad bar had amazing delectables. My fav was the cheese selection and the roasted garlic, yum! After finishing our salad, we were brought out new plates for our meats. Service was quick! We had tried everything in a matter of moments. We shared a side of mashed potatoes which was good - something simple to soak up all the flavors of the meats. I don't know for the life of me why this place is highly rated. We went here for Valentine's Day. Describing it as a disappointing experience would be putting it mildly. It would be the first and last visit for me. FOOD: This was the first Brazilian steakhouse I went to that didn't serve rice. They had very limited side dishes. The meats that were going around were very bland. We just stopped letting them serve us after about 5 meats. Everything just tasted like cheap meat. Oh, and the water was NOT free. STAFF: The staff was not very friendly. They ran out of bowls for their onion soup so I asked this one lady and she kept pointing me unenthusiastically to the same table I was just at that had NO bowls. I ended up asking this guy who cleaned tables to help me out. PLACE: The floors were very slippery. You need to be very careful in walking. They also cramped so many tables in there, it's hard to walk around. Also, keeping the bathrooms clean didn't seem like a priority for this restaurant. My husband said the men's bathroom was gross! I couldn't even imagine what the women's bathroom looked like! For the price, this place was simply not worth it. My husband chose it for a Valentine's Day experience but didn't get that at all. While other restaurants would hand out roses to the ladies or decorate the tables with a Valentine's theme, this place did not even try at all making the evening special. I guess I shouldn't even be surprised with everything mediocre that I observed all evening. I recommend you take your hard-earned money someplace else. read more

We had a reservation and when we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and genuine welcome and escorted to our table. Brasão was amazing with an ambiance was of contemporary elegance. We visited Brasão Brazilian Steakhouse as guests of a financial planner. As a rule, I don't review restaurants that I visit in this situation because menus and servings may be different from what is available to regular customers. I prefer to return and dine as a regular patron and then write a review. But, tonight, I have a bone to pick. Our dinner included dessert. We asked for the chocolate cake and the strawberry cheesecake. When the desserts were brought out, the servings were big and beautiful. Too much for us to comfortably put away after the array of meats we were served. So, we asked for our desserts to go. No problem. But, someone decided to pack ridiculously small servings in white clamshell boxes and brought them out in a paper sack. A few of the other couples requested their desserts to go. I wonder if they got similar surprises when they got home. I suppose our financial planner was charged the full price for our disappointing desserts. I'll have to ask him when we meet again. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday night at 5pm but picked up as the night went on. The dining room was kind of dark, with the typical salad bar in the middle. The server greeted us and she was attentive and friendly. She asked if we wanted water and I guess the only option is bottled spring water, which is strange. The salad bar was not stocked with as many options as I'm used to. But it wasn't bad. The sides were brought out when we flipped our card to green. The meats started rotating to our table. The picahna, the ribeye, and the lamb chops were fantastic. Temperature and seasoning were pretty good. One of the biggest issues was getting interrupted constantly. I understand the gauchos coming by with the meat when our card is on green, but they would come by even if it was red and interrupt our conversation. The same with our server. She was very friendly, and I appreciate attentiveness, but there a fine line between being attentive and overbearing. It got a little annoying especially with the refilling of our water glass with the bottled spring water after every sip. It was pretty obvious they were trying to sell more water. The manager came over three times over the span of our dinner to check on us as well. We really were trying to enjoy the experience and the conversation, but were constantly being interrupted. Note to management, maybe train your staff to leave the able alone sometimes, and I don't think tap water is too much to ask for. Otherwise, keep up the good work with the food. read more

We were given 1/2 each of fillet mignon and when we ask for more, we waited half an hour . This place wait until you get full with cheap meat. I came here for the first time extremely hungry of course and love Brazilian steakhouses. it's very nice place inside the gentleman who seated me stated they had levels of meats depending on the price you want to pay. I informed him of my favorite meat and he said he would go ask to make sure with manager which meat package and then he left a green circle on my table that apparently signaled what package I ordered. the salad bar was limited but ok. i waited for quite some time before any meat was offered and finally received 3 thin slices of picane then the only other was a loaf of meat with cheese oozing out of sides that I have no idea what it was called and spicy meat. I wanted to have top sirloin and bottom sirloin but none offered and i kept asking the servers after 45 minutes I gave up even though starving and told the waitress how hungry and I disappointed I was and she said I want allowed to have top sirloin or bottom sirloin on my package and acted like I was stupid because their employee told me that And didn't even offer to get me any or change meat package etc I found the gentlemen that seated me and asked for the manager and by this point I am late leaving for work and I told him about it and the gentleman who seated me told him what he told me. We all had a fantastic dining experience here at Brasao's on a nice Saturday night. The wait staff was very attentive and explained all that you need to do at a Brazilian steakhouse, and that is eat as much delicious meat as you possibly can. On a side note the salad bar was pretty good. Not to mention the cheesy bread and plantains that they have. My favorite cuts of meat were the lamb, some cheese infused ribeye (delicious!), and shrimp. Now there was more meat there but to me those are the stand outs. The dress code is relaxed, but I did see a lot of people dress up for a nice date night out. Yes this is pricey, but you are getting a TON of meat that is seasoned perfectly. Sometimes these Brazilian steak houses over salt their meat. Not Brasao's, which I'm thankful for. If you are in the area you gotta stop by and check this place out. The meats are mostly good and cooked well, however the shrimp were not great in my opinion. Very good salad bar. The problem I had was that we were mislead with the costs of multiple things. For starters, we were told that there were two options, one had more meats. When we were about done, we realized we had gotten only one of the "extra" meats. And when we asked, we were told "oh yea you need to request those". Which he did not tell us. They add gratuity to 6+ people but we were automatically charged at 5 people (three of those being kids and two were ages 3-6). They also charged us $5 per bottle of water, which we were not informed there was a cost for the water, it was simply refilled. The gratuity issue was solved, thankfully, but there was another issue that needed to be resolved because children aged 3-6 are $10 and while we informed them beforehand, they still attempted to charge us the full $35 for one. Also thankfully, that was resolved. But the entire experience left a very sour taste and I do not think we will come back. read more

Even my Yelping daughter in law, who normally is not a heavy meat eater, had that strategy! (I was actually fearful of letting my fingers get too close to her plate for fear they would get stabbed and eaten.) Our table was the best in the house, right next to the kitchen! I had the best seat, facing the door the gauchos exit the kitchen with their skewers of meat! I kept my plate full of choice meat! Steaks, shrimp, lamb, pineapple (heh, the magic fruit that helps you digest meat), pork and others. I thought this place had the best beef of any of the many I've dined at. It was always perfectly grilled, full of flavor and juicy! The lamb was tender and moist! The pineapple was grilled long enough to melt in your mouth! Oh, the table side desert drinks is another experience you have to explore. It will impress a date (and the other tables nearby)! Service was over the top! Definitely a great choice for a Brazilian Steak House and love its convenient location. The selection of meats were great with some unique options. The salad bar is not as large as other places but there was a wide variety of options available. Also, salad is the last thing on my mind in a steakhouse ;) Sides of yuca, plaintain, mashed potatoes were great. (Did leave the must try list as a tip on Yelp). They have a full bar with beer, wine, cocktail and liquor options. The Caipirinha was ok-ish, definitely not the real deal. The dessert cocktail preparation is something worth watching and a neat way to end the food coma you get into after dining here. Service was a clear winner. The entire crew was amazing, attentive, pleasant and always served with a smile. Kudos to the entire team! The ambiance of the restaurant is really good. Updating from my last review because we've come several times since then and the food and service have been amazing every single time! We ate at the bar this past Sunday and Sam and his fellow bartenders were attentive and friendly. They really took care of us, from our excellent drinks, water refills, to-go boxes etc. Some recommended dishes: - pork ribs here are fantastic - the Brasao trio comes with bacon wrapped steak and chicken plus sausage. The chicken is ok - definitely add some of their delicious chimichurri sauce to it - and the steak is SO good: tender and well-seasoned.
