    Different cuts of meats

My husband treated me to a special dinner at La Estancia, and for a restaurant located inside a mall, it truly did not disappoint. This Brazilian-style steakhouse offers an impressive variety of meats, including several cuts of beef, chicken, pork, and sausages, along with an all-you-can-eat salad and fruit buffet. Every cut we tried was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. One of the standout parts of the experience was the tableside pasta wheel, where the chef prepares fresh Alfredo pasta right in front of you--rich, creamy, and made from scratch. Dessert options are also included, like flan at the buffet, but I couldn't resist going back for seconds of the grilled brown sugar-glazed pineapple. It was so good! The ambiance was romantic and upscale, with dim lighting and live music playing throughout the evening. We were even serenaded by a violinist performing popular hits in such a beautiful, classic way. Service was outstanding, and I loved the light system they use at the table to signal what you need--blue for meats and white for drinks--making everything seamless. Come hungry and leave full--this is definitely a place worth visiting!

5 star for Service. It was excellent! Everyone was really attentive and friendly. The manager on duty, Anthony was great. He made sure we got the temperature of meats we wanted. Meat was seasoning was flavorful. We always request for medium rare meats. Their pricing is half of what you would have paid in other Churrascarias. Please manage your expectations. The cold bar has something for everyone. Has salads, cheeses, olives, fresh fruits etc. The also have a hot bar which has empanada, friend plantain , rice, beans etc. They also have the cheese wheel where they do the pasta. Request for it, it was very cool to watch.

A solid steakhouse that won't break the bank. For $24.99, the menu offers plenty of options to satisfy your appetite. Salad Bar - Decent variety, including cold cuts and chicken salad. The warm items weren't particularly appealing to me, and they could improve the soup for the beans, which were quite runny. Meats - All the meats were great, especially the garlic beef and spicy beef, so good that I had to ask for seconds. Special mention: The flan at the salad bar is a must-try!

This place is pure awesomeness! The decor is beautiful and the lighting is perfect and I especially liked the music! We went on the weekend for my husband's birthday and he was very pleased with this place. The salad area and hot foods were very good. The meats were amazing from the ribs, sausage, chicken, sirloin, pineapple and more. There was a gentleman that came to our table with this huge round cheese and melted cheese for us and added to some pasta. It was very delicious! The people here are so nice and accommodating. This is one of our new favorite restaurants.

Charro beans are FABULOUS!!! Best kept secret there. Flautas & empanadas were not great. Fried plantains TASTY!!

Went there Friday evening with an old friend and it was delicious. We had a wonderful server named Poly and be sure you take notes on the operations of the light because otherwise you may go hungry OR have an overloaded plate. I like my meat juicy and rare or medium rare. My opinions: Salad bar nothing to write home about like some Brazilian steak houses which was fine with me as I went for meat and not rabbit food. Didn't try many of the "hot" side dishes except empanada and flauta. Will pass on them in the future. Flan was very good for desert as were the fried plantains with cinnamon sugar AND the grilled pineapple! The charro beans may be their best kept secret!! THEY ARE FABULOUS!! I had no poultry. My favorites were probably the sirloin and the fajita. I know that's not the "specialty" but I thought they were the tenderest and most flavorful. The filet wrapped in bacon was way overcooked for me. It was dry and bacon was still limp. Maybe precooking bacon some and then wrapping and cooking meat would be better. Was looking forward to the Parmesan pork but it unfortunately would have made a good crouton for the Caesar salad. Very dry and tough. Was also looking forward to sausage but it had no flavor and had no blackening or scorch marks on it to help with flavor. One of the managers stopped by and introduced himself and made sure that we had a wonderful experience which we did. I will go back!!

My daughter and I went to lunch to a place called La Estancia Steakhouse. This is a Brazilian type steakhouse and is uniquely located in the Irving Mall, in Irving, TX. The restaurant is very roomy, soft instrumental music playing and was very clean, neat and very well organized. The atmosphere was delightful. As my daughter and I walked in we were immediately met by a distinguished gentleman by the name of Mr. Anthony, who is the manager of this fine establishment. He was very welcoming, with a kind smile and very accommodating. He told us about the meats being served the hot foodbar, and the amazing saladbar and brought us a small dish of hot puffy cheesy bread that was truly at another level. As my daughter and I attacked the salad bar it all looked very delicious and every salad item on the salad bar looked fresh, well organized and amazing. As we sat down another gentleman came out his name was Mr. Daniel, he rolled a cart with a large round Mozzarella cheese wheel. As we sat there he took out a chef's food torch and began to melt the center of the Mozzarella cheese wheel. Along side of the cheese he had a medium size ramekin of Alfredo noodles. He kept melting the cheese until it almost became liquidfied and then took the ramekin of noodles and dropped them in the cheese and pulled them out and served them to us covered in cheese and wow, what a transformation. The noodles were very cheesy and delicious. Mr. Anthony arrived with our drinks Mango juice and Dr. Pepper. Then and other gentleman Mr. Carlos brought out the fare of meats, pork ribs, lamb, chicken legs and hearts, skirt steak, rib eye and other meats that I lost track of all types of meats being served. All the meats were well seasoned very tasty. Lastly he brought out grilled pineapple with cinnamon and it was very delicious. I tied the guiso, rice and black beans from the hot foodbar and it was truly awesome. I was so full I just couldn't not try anymore of the hot foods. Every employee there were awesome and and efficient, friendly and well trained in their jobs. This is very indicative of a great manager like Mr. Anthony. The saving grace of this place it that you can walk out straight into mall so you can walk off all the food one eats. Please come support these awesome people say hello to Mr. Anthony, Mr. Daniel and Mr. Carlos. Hope to see you there.

My husband and I ate lunch at La Estancia Steakhouse today, Memorial day. The price is 24.99$ without drinks. Their lamp on that table changes color when pressed. For the service light meaning whenever you ask for the meat to be serve its yellow color. They had salad bar with many choices. They also had the hot side dish. I like the medium well sirloin, lamb, picanha and flank steak. My husband preferred the parmesan chicken and sausage which he said were both delicious. The meats are so flavorful. We both liked the grilled pineapple. I like the chicken salad best of all the salads. The fettucini alfredo is also delicious. They offered us slices of cake for 10$ extra pay as dessert which I did-not avail. They have fresh fruits, flan and fried banana included in the AYCE. The flan is so good. The drinks like iced tea costs 3.50$. Service is quick. Ambiance is quiet with romantic music being played. Its very relaxing to eat there.

I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that's what really matters in a restaurant, of course. But the vibe is odd. I can't put my finger on it. It's "clique-y". Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I've walked in before they opened. They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. They don't tell you this: but it's for the regulars. You'll feel like you've wandered into a party you weren't invited to. AND.....order the Prince Edward Island mussels!

They've recently updated their menu with several a la cart items, and I came to try the Prime Rib. Wow. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The one major change I've noticed is Brasão is getting busier. Used to, I could walk in a get a table, but now I make sure I use OpenTable to reserve a seat. If you've never been to a Brazilian style restaurant (in the US), the first thing you'll notice is the opulent salad bar that sits in the center of the restaurant. There is also a dedicated bar area that's separate and elevated, so you people watch from above. 1 Star. Service - Brasão has the best severs (again I'm biased). The entire staff works in unison with dedicated roles. Your sever will take your order why gauchos walk around cutting meat. Speaking of cutting meat, if you order the Prime Rib on Wednesday, they will cut it at your table to order. 1 Star. Food - The Prime Rib is absolutely sensational. The Prime Rib is so tender, and the au jus adds a little salt. The Prime Rib is sliced and dressed at your table, so you can see the heat and seasonings up close. My bite was so tender and flavorful, it did not need extra au jus. While the Prime Rib is ala cart, it still comes with the standard sides of mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and fried bananas. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. My first visit to Brasão was because the meats were so good. I keep coming back because the service is amazing and the menu continues to evolve. See you next month! 1 Star.

The food and service here is absolutely incredible. That said, given how pricey the meal is, you'll certainly want to reserve this meal for celebrations and special occasions. Between the four in our party, we shared the following: jumbo lump crab cakes ($36.95), prime tomahawk ($194.95), prime New York strip 14oz ($64.95), jumbo asparagus ($17.95), roasted wild mushrooms ($21.95), creamed spinach ($17.95), and a New York-style cheesecake ($18.00) for dessert to share. If you're a wine enthusiast, there's a Bible sized wine menu available here to thumb through. Our server made it a point to emphasize the scale and expansiveness of their wine list. The list goes on and on -- covering every imaginable region of the world and year, and as a casual wine drinker, I was simply overwhelmed. However, if you're looking for cocktails instead, any "standard" cocktail you can think of is available. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was stiff, yet nicely balanced. Moving on to the food, I have never had crab cakes as good as the ones here -- this appetizer is a must order. Most crab cakes I've had have too much bread crumb fillers and tend to be a bit bland. The ones here contain generous amounts of large, chunky crab meat, are well-seasoned, and are perfectly fried. The tomahawk steak is a serious show-stopper. If there's one cut to order, it's this one. Carved table-side, you really get to appreciate the size and beauty of this cut of meat. The meat is expertly cut off from the bone, and I love the distribution of rendered fat on each piece of meat. Some steakhouses offer a bunch of different sauces and dips to go with the meat, but none of that is available here: you're here for the meat, and you can truly appreciate the flavor and quality of the dry-aged meat in its purest form. All you really need is some salt and you've got the perfect bite. The steak here is delicious; no notes. Although the steak is the clear star of the show at Pappas Bros., the sides cannot be skipped over (not that you'd want to, given how delicious everything sounds). I was tempted to order the large tower of golden onion rings that many other tables seemed to be ordering, but ultimately settled on some of the other vegetable offerings. The creamed spinach is rich and decadent. One order is easily enough for a group to share. The jumbo asparagus is honestly some of the longest and largest spears of asparagus I've ever seen. They had a nice snappy bite to them. Although you'll probably be absolutely stuffed by the end of your meal, I encourage you to order at least a dessert to split. Although I only had a chance to try the New York-style cheesecake, it's something I would happily order again. The gargantuan size of the slice of cheesecake is enough for a group of 8 to split. Like everything else on the menu, the cheesecake is rich. I appreciate that the cake itself was not overly sweet. The whipped cream on top was light and fluffy. If you're looking for a steakhouse in Dallas with quality food, drinks and service, look no further than Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. Closing note: there is no dress code that's enforced.

Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious.
