We needed a small meal and we were staying at a nearby hotel. We had been driving all day and were headed north in the morning with much food planned for that day. Looking on Yelp, I saw two pizza places nearby and this one sounded more like what we needed. Not a bar, just a nice friendly family eatery. That is exactly what it turned out to be. We shared a personal size pizza and the amount was just tright. My husband and I have different tastes and they suggested making it with his toppings on one half and mine on the other. Perfect solutions and something we often do at home on large pizzas and not every place is willing to so customize the littles ones. While we were waiting at a table for the pizza, we saw a steady stream of customers coming and going, most greeted by name. Neighborood regulars are always a good sign. Some took theirs to-go, a few others stayed to eat like we did. The food was deceived to the table, hot from the oven. And yes, a pan pizza with a crispy crust, not Italian gourmet sourdough as so common at home, but still very satisfying. read more

I stopped here to pick up a grinder 'to go' for lunch. The place was clean and had plenty of seating. The staff were friendly and polite. They had my grinder made in minutes and I was on my way. After several social media critics named this the best pizza we staked it out in our travels. Very surprised that our personal pizzas turned out to be pan pizzas with generous toppings (up to 4) piled on. I tend to leave the crust behind but theirs is some of the best ive had, so light and crispy i ate it up. With a dozen toppings to choose from you cant go wrong. We went in and were greeted by the most pleasant woman who took our order, then a very pleasant young man brought out our food. I was pleasantly surprised by Brattleboro Village Pizza! I ordered a large four topping pizza and was so thrilled when I opened up the box to find a glorious, crispy, cheesy, topping filled pie. They weren't doing indoor dining at the time but the restaurant itself has plenty of seating. They were also super friendly as I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in. I stopped for lunch at Brattleboro Village Pizza, which is conveniently located off I-91 Exit 3 on the busy roundabout (newly striped). They offer pizza (10"-14"-18"), spaghetti, salads, gyros, subs, grinders, and Coke drinks. Beer and wine available. However, the food is on the pricier side, small 10" pizzas ($10-$11), large 18" pizzas ($19-$22) and most subs are in the $7-$8 range. I ordered a Large Eggplant Sub ($7.80 with tax) to go for my road trip back to NH. The sub was ready in about 10 minutes and the place was fairly busy too. This oven baked sub was really good, which had plenty of very thin fried breaded slices of eggplant, sweet tomato sauce, and lots of melted browned mozzarella cheese in a crusty sub roll. That's the way it should be done! I finished off this tasty sub on the ride, even before I made it to Keene. The baked eggplant sub was definitely worth the price! read more

The pizza is absolutely disgusting. my kids wouldn't even eat the pizza. The cheesy garlic bread was soggy and greasy. And to pay almost 100$ is an absolute waste. The pizza here is pretty good, reasonably priced, and convenient if you're driving down 91. The staff were also friendly. My only major issue is that when I walked in none of the staff were wearing masks, there was a plastic barrier up by the register though. I also noticed that one of the employees kept touching his nose and mouth which made me a little uncomfortable considering there were no masks or gloves in sight. There were also customers who walked in without a mask. Overall I would not return during these times due to sanitary conditions, but normally the pizza was pretty good. read more

Nasty owners and unfriendly help. Owner yelled at us for having luggage as we had wanted to stop on the way to our hotel after getting off bus from downtown for our trip. Food was just eh not the best for the prices they charge. Don't drink the soda from the fountain as I saw the employees take a cup they drank from and refill it in the fountain. Normally this wouldn't bother me but with Covid everyone needs to be vigilant and careful and clean and these people didn't act that way. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

Have been a customer for many, many years. Family run shop that has always been welcoming and friendly with good food. Unfortunately on our latest visit not only were the cooks, staff and customers all unmasked, we were actually admonished by the young man behind the counter for wearing masks because he claimed he couldn't hear us. So disappointing to see this great shop devolve into Covid deniers. Sad to let them go, but what other sensible hygienic practices do they think are unnecessary [food storage, hand washing, etc.]. I am a vegan and never order from pizza places. I arrived into the area late and it was raining - so going out was not on my to-do list. There are no Chinese restaurants that deliver, so I decided to go on the hotel's recommendation because they at least had sandwiches. Plus they have free delivery with a $10 minimum order. Thinking I was going to be disappointed I ordered a veggie sub. The only bad thing was that I waited almost 50 minutes for a sandwich, but it was worth it!!!!
