Ordered a Large 14" pie to go. Service was quick. The pizza was very good. I guess VIP make their pizza well done. Which I don't mind. But being from Jersey, I like to see white for my mozzarella. I have looked at some of the other reviews with a photo of their pie and it looks the same as what I got. Looks like old style pizza. We visited at 7pm on a Friday night when two other pizzerias in town were closed for vacation. Not surprisingly, VIP was crazy busy with about 3/4 of the tables occupied and a steady flow of people picking up takeout orders. This is a place your order at the counter and carry it to your table type situation. We ordered a family size pizza and a salad. The cashier took our order quickly and after About 15 minutes, my buzzer beeped and we grabbed our food. The salad was large, fresh and visually appealing. It was a great addition to our meal. Our pizza was thin crust and flavored well despite being slightly overcooked. The cheese was not gooey and warm like you'd expect, rather it was brown and slightly hard. Two minutes less in the oven and it would have been excellent pizza instead of okay pizza. Because it was so busy and they were a bit overwhelmed, I'll give them a pass on the overcooked pizza, and we will try it again on a less crowded night. read more

Was in town playing disc gold so I tried this place out. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and wings. Pizza was terrific (but greasy but that seems to be the Vermont norm). Wings were crispy like I like and the Buffalo sauce was on the side (odd but not a deal breaker). Everyone was friendly and I would definitely come back here again if in the area. read more

We. Love. This. Place. We've been ordering here for a few years and it's definitely hit its prime. We get onion rings, occasionally 'cause they're the bomb- but the portion size was always small. Today, the price was the same but the order was huge! They switched up the turkey too. It used to be that pinkish turkey that's clearly processed, but again, today, it's actual turkey. I hope they don't switch up from what today was. My pictures are garbage, and we've already had like eight onion rings.. but you get it Definitely best sub spot in Brattleboro, hands down. read more

I've been coming to VIP my entire life. Up until recently, it has been my favorite local pizza place. The last few times we've been there the pizza has had an odd, sweet yet trash-like flavor to it. Tonight was the final straw for us. We bought $60 worth of grinders that were essentially inedible. The bacon on the BLT's was not even really bacon. It was a thick, greasy, very unappetizing piece of gristle. We couldn't chew it, and once we realized what it was we were disgusted. So disappointing. We essentially paid a ridiculous amount of money for tomato and lettuce sandwiches, since that's the only part we ate. After decades of being loyal customers, we will no longer be dining here. I recommend House of Pizza across the street, where the ingredients are fresh and the food tastes good! read more

Ordered delivery pizza, they asked if I'd like to tip the driver so I tipped $2. Pizza arrives and bill lists an additional $2.50 "delivery fee" plus the $2 tip. Never again ! There are several better pizza places in Brattleboro but VT Inn has delivery, but now adding a rip off additional fee. Village Pizza far superior and will consistently get my business now. read more

My wife and I were traveling back home through Vermont and were looking for some place to eat lunch. We drove through Brattleboro and discovered that there are no restaurants open on Sundays. I don't know if it's a labor thing or because it's Winter or what but it was a struggle to find a place to eat. We checked our trusty Yelp app and finally found Vermont Inn Pizza. It's a small mom and pop, Greek pizza style, local restaurant. The restaurant was filled with families and it got loud. That's ok, just wanted to let you know in case loud isn't your thing. I ordered a small, chicken parmesan sub, and my wife ordered a small spanakopita pizza. We sat down to wait for our food and during that time we discovered that our bill was more than we had thought. We were charged for a small chicken parmesan pizza, which was more money, not a small chicken parmesan sub. We also discovered that we were charged a 3% "service fee" to use a credit card. there is a handwritten sign on the register alerting customers that they will receive a "discount" if they pay in cash to avoid a 3% charge if they use a credit card. I don't know about you but I am so tired of these games. Just charge me 3% more for food and stop the antics. On top of it all, there is a tip jar on the counter. So, you want a tip for no table service and on top of that charge customers a 3% fee for using their credit cards? This is getting ridiculous. Anyway, the good news is that the restaurant gave us a refund for the difference we were charged. Our food arrived in a timely fashion. My wife enjoyed her pizza, which was cooked nicely and had feta cheese and spinach on it. My pizza was good, the chicken was tasty and it was also cooked nicely. I thought there was way too much oregano on it and it over powered the taste of the pizza. The sauce and cheese was just ok for me. Over all, just an ok pizza, that's why the three stars. I had a bite of my wife's pizza and I really didn't like it. Nothing against how it was made it just wasn't my kind of pizza. Admittedly, I am used to some of the best pizza in the country being near NYC and New Haven, CT so I am spoiled. I don't like the whole 3% service charge thing and the ever abused tip jar, but I do appreciate the refund for the mistake when taking my order. I enjoyed the chicken on my pizza and If I went back some day I would get a hot sub like I initially ordered. read more

Great eggplant grinders at Vermont Inn Pizza. Over the years they seem to have gotten better. Tonight was the best ever - over-stuffed with crispy, yet juicy eggplant, caramelized onions and peppers, lots of gooey cheese, and their just-right sauce, which I always get an additional side of. In all the years I've stopped by this place when going through Brattleboro, I've never been able to get past ordering this one thing, but the friendly counterperson advised me that the burgers were really good, as well as the chicken sandwich. Maybe next time I can try something else, but why, when their eggplant grinder is so perfect?? read more

We recently ordered delivery from here and have to say that we had mixed reviews. We ordered during the lunch rush and actually got our food it really quickly, the only issue being that one of our pizzas wasn't made correctly. When we called back to have it re-made we received a little bit of pushback, but then they quickly delivered at the other one. Overall the pizza was OK. The crust was cooked perfectly, it wasn't too greasy, and the toppings were fresh. Not a bad pie for the price. read more

My wife and I have been going here since the new owners took over. The place is very clean and the staff is wonderful. Emily is the best. Everything we have gotten from their menu was spot on. There pizza's are fantastic. LOTS of toppings, no skimping. The crust was nice and thin the way we like it, with all quality ingredients. Their meatball grinders are to die for, same goes for the ham and cheese. They are the best pizza place around. We live in Mass. and make the trip their to get our fix. Try it out. Great sandwiches, bad pizza. The sandwiches are well cooked, good amount of toppings and what not, highly recommended for sandwiches. Pizza on the other hand is not worth it. Both pizzas were extremely burnt and they were stingy with the toppings. Sauce is ok at best. A 4.2 out of 10 on the one bite scale. Monz sticks we're good though. read more

I can smell the wafting cheeze already. The food is warm, fresh and tastes good. My favorites are the cheese pizza, the gyrros, and salads. The set up inside has group size tables and there is a friendly atmosphere. Phone orders have been easy and efficient. The staff are really nice here. I was VERY impressed and surprised at how great the pizza was! We were going back and forth between delivery and just going to another restaurant since the pizza joints around here didn't exactly get rave reviews. But we took a chance and I'm happy we did! The pizza was a perfect ratio of cheese and meats (ordered pepperoni and sausage) and had a crunchy, delicious crust. They definitely did not skimp on the toppings. We also got jalapeño poppers, which came with a side of marinara. Fried to crispy perfection and filled with gooey cream cheese- these hit the spot! Overall- I'd have to say that everything was at a 4.5. I have to say I'd take off a half star because the parmesan cheese we asked for came in packets instead of fresh (not a fan whatsoever) and the pizza, while great, was a tad salty. Just a tad though. Pizza was good but it seems like this place is operating in an alternate universe where there is no pandemic? Workers were all unmasked, multiple customers coming in for pickup had no masks on - they did have some small plexiglass screens hanging up but one of the workers (maybe a manager) was walking around on the other side anyway and yeah, mask-less. Known to most as V.I.P (very important pizza) this place is one of the better examples of the theme in Brattleboro for this sort of place- greek and greasy. The pizza is alright- but as someone who had one slice too many in childhood I go for the hot subs/grinders at this point- particularly the hot veggie with feta cheese. If you are used to thin-crust or are calorie counting- skip this place entirely but if you're going for the pie try either the hawaii style or green peppers, onions and sausage. My family has been getting these combos for almost two decades and they haven't done me wrong yet. One of the few places in town that delivers even on the weekdays and with no minimum. Update: I'm adding a star here in April '07- I called in for two grinders (that's new englander for sub) and a greek salad to relive a childhood memory of mine- delivery and the red sox vs yankees on a rainy Friday night and was pleasantly surprised to see that this place has improved the quality of in the ingredients and construction. Less grease, more flavor- really outstanding results for my sliced meatball sub with grilled onions and peppers. Greek salad was excellent! I'll be ordering more often for sure! read more

My family sent us fried chicken dinner, veal parm, chicken parm, lazagna and meatball dinner with garlic bread as my husband was recovering from surgery. When it arrived I couldn't believe it was all hot. Spiced very well. The chicken and veal were tender and moist.The coating on the fried chicken was very good and crispy.None of the dinners were greasy and the spaghetti was not mushy. The garlic bread was tasty .
