I rarely take the time to write a bad review on Yelp, but this one had to be done immediately. I went in to have a polish change. I had black polish on there before and had taken it off last night because it was chipping. There was still some remnants of the black polish and my toenails needed to be cut. They did not bother to put any acetone on my toes to take the remnants of the old polish away and this is the worst polish change I've ever had in my life. I'm going to have to take it off and do it again myself. Some toes aren't even all the way painted and they're definitely wasn't any cleanup done afterward. I could see black polish on one of the toes and the nail tech tried to tell me that that was my toe. I'm sorry my toe is not jet black, you just didn't bother to take any of the old remaining polish away. read more

I'm kind of speechless. Not in a good way. I wanted a plain manicure no color. Just to clean up. The woman who worked with me rushed the service. My nails may have been worked on 5-10 minutes. She also cut my finger and said "oh I had to get the cuticle," yeah but that doesn't mean you cut my finger and don't follow with saying sorry like it's just ok or to be expected. If that's normally how you do nails you don't do them well. This service was $20. Just because it's a basic service doesn't mean you don't do it well. Today I received a rushed service and was practically forced to get a fill on my nails while getting a pedicure. Then when I went to pay I was charged for a full set when I only received a fill. Great job on both my feet and hands; BUT I must say the polish job on my toes was a lil off, but not too noticeable, I wasn't too thrilled with my coffin shaped nails they ended up being a bit shorter than I wanted after she finished filing and buffing and they were slimmer that a coffin/closer to a stiletto shape without the point; but it was after closing time and I didn't wanna make a fuss. My toe nails look nice and my feet are nice and smooth, but the process was so RUSHED. I like having my feet done because it's relaxing and this pedicure just didn't offer that. My wife goes here all the time to get her nails done. She really likes this place because it is close to our house and she has found two nail techs there, Vanna and Lynn, who do amazing work for her. She has a condition that requires her to need the SNS dip for her nails and the few places she has been to has been mediocre at best with them. But when she goes here, these two techs do great work for her and the nails last almost a full month for her. In fact, the ones she has right now has been on coming up on 6 weeks. They have a really good color selection as well as other nail services they provide and the prices are very affordable. I've gone here before and I had great service, but I recently went just for a soak off and it was terrible. I needed to take a break from having acrylic. I told the lady multiple times I didn't want more acrylic and she began to remove the acrylic from my nails very aggressively. Totally skipped over the soaking process and now my nails are in poor condition and there is still acrylic on my nails!!! Soak offs are still a service and is something you're still paying for, it just gave off a money hungry vibe to me. read more

The lady in the front with short hair named diamond had a nasty attitude right when we walked in, didn't even look us in the eyes when talking to us and told us there was a wait when workers were walking around and sitting chilling. Definitely the nail shop to visit! Today was my 3rd visit. Also was in the shop when the caucasian woman answered the Hispanic woman's phone and their fight language broke out (B's and such). It was off the chain, and freaked the workers out. We all think we would respond differently. Me, I left as I would have done the wrong thing. Before leaving, the Hispanic lady said, "I want to leave, and the nail tech said she wasn't done. The Hispanic lady said, no I want to leave and will pay what I owe you. Hair pulling and cursing was flying in the room, no racial slurs were heard by me. After she answered the Hispanic lady's phone, she made a comment about who the Hispanic lady was married to. WTF, so the Hispanic lady did say "I don't pull hair". My memory of my friend came to mind. Does she know Judo? Ju don't know if she gotta gun, Ju don't know if she gotta knife? I was there up to when the Hispanic lady called the police. I don't recall seeing any of the folks slaying the salon in the room, but happy to post negative things. I came to this salon to enjoy my day off. I wanted a regular mani-pedi done. I got sat in a chair that it was broken. I couldn't enjoy my pedicure because the chair was making this horrible noice when I turn on the massage feature. Water for the pedicure was cold, lady said because it was beginning of the day and they needed to wait to get hot water smh!. Despite all this she went ahead and start doing my pedicure, didn't offer to move chairs or anything else. At this moment I was already disappointed. She went too hard to clean my nails that my toe starting bleeding and she tried to hide it putting my foot back in the cold water (I didn't say anything). I also notice that they don't sanitize their tools at all. She was using the same for the new lady that came after me. This threw me off. This place it's super unsanitary in many ways. I was very disappointed with my manicure and pedicure. There's sooo many spots that are better than this place. I just wanted to come here because it's 4 min from my house and I wanted to give it a try. If you are searching for a new salon I wouldn't recommend this place. I didn't say how upset I was because I don't like to argue I just won't be back. Oh! Also I forgot that when I was in the process of drying my hands and feet the lady reach out to my wallet to ask me to get my credit card to pay for my services, I told her I was going to pay cash and she's like "I can get the money and open my wallet again. This is the most unsanitary nail salon I have ever been to. I chose this place because of the great reviews and was so disappointed. All I wanted was to soak my gel off and get a regular manicure with clear polish. The first woman who helped me out had me soak off the gel in clearly DIRTY bowls. There's was literally someone else's nail in one of the bowls. The towel was also dirty. Then they continued to harass me about how I need to get Dip for my nails despite me telling them I can not have dip or gel for my new job. My manicure was subpar and was definitely not worth $28. I will never go here again and do not recommend if you care at all about cleanliness. There were other nail techs in the salon who were significantly nicer and seemed much cleaner I just happened to get the 2 rudest workers. read more
