When I had done take-out in the past, the staff would always placed the sundae container in a takeout container. During the summertime, the ice cream would begin melting by the time I got home. As a result, in recent times, I had settled on dine-in and enjoy my ice cream in the store. Today, I decided to try the drive-thru for the first time. Ordering was easily although I did not have the option to pay at that time. I had to give my credit card to the employee at the drive-thru window. The employee was about to hand me my sundae just in a plastic container. I was surprised it was not placed in the takeout containers like in years past. Not wanting to risk the ice cream leaking through, I asked the container to be placed in a bag. For the same reason I stopped doing take-out, I doubt I will come back while dine-in is not available. Food is okay for what it is, but this store/location is in desperate need of repairs to the roof / ceiling and just an overall deep cleaning. I can't help but notice how filthy the windows are on the inside and outside of the building. The ceiling tiles are heavily stained from roof leaks likely and right now they have a number of missing ones and buckets situated next to the drinking fountains to catch leaks. I namely hate coming here due to how unsanitary it is, and prefer the newer location in Grapevine. Service is okay here otherwise. Not stellar, just a okay. read more

Braum's drive through window is very busy and is usually backed up with 5-8 cars waiting. I wish the line moved a bit faster. The ice cream is very good and worth the wait. If I'm having a meal, I usually park and go to inside dining area. The food, especially the burgers and fries are cooked on ordering and are very good. This is a busy location, but wait time is not long. I usually visit for ice cream or burgers at least 3-4 times per month. The location on 407 is brand new. The other reviews are for thee location on Cross Timbers Having said that, the food is prepared when you order it, not wrapped and under a heat lamp. The lime ade is real, tasty and fresh. It may cost a bit more then the arches but the difference is worth it.This new location is staffed by people who care and is so much better. read more

I took my daughter here as a special treat for ice cream. I was hungry so I ordered a burger to eat while she had her treat. The guy said he would bring it out to me when it was ready. It never came out. Then I noticed he went on break. I checked the time and realized it had been 25 minutes since I had placed my order. I went up to the counter and of course they had no idea who I was. Thankfully I had my receipt and was able to point to the guy that took my order. They just said sorry and handed me a burger. I took it home instead of eating it there only to find out they didn't bother following the order instructions on the receipt. There was ketchup all over it. Disgusting! Hire better more attentive staff. train them better. Poor girl scooping the ice cream had no clue what a "Neapolitan" was. I had to explain its one scoop of chocolate, one vanilla in the middle and strawberry next. they even keep the tubs of C, V & S all together behind the counter. well even after i explained it to her she still did it wrong. but hey they clearly dont train on basic information. she tried. The burgers are usually amazing. the other day they gave us a cold one. cheese wasnt even melted when we got home and burger wasnt warm in foil. had to go back for a new one for fear of food poisoning from incorrect food temp. they fixed it. inside and parking lot need MAJOR renovation. Everything is dirty. Trays are dirty. CLEAN THE TRAYS!!!! geez! and tables and seats. why does someone even have to say that. also just in case a manager actually reads this and cares. potatoes in the store section should not be stored directly next to the cold cooler foods nor be under that florescent light all day. go look at your very green potatoes that now are producing more arsenic than they should. just a plant tip. read more

I always find this Braum's great with kindness from all their workers. Sure there's an occasional slip up in an order, or they have their super busy times where you have to wait a bit. I see a lot of the servers are kids and they're learning, so a little patience is helpful. I'd want someone to allow my kids a chance to learn too. Food is usually always really good, desserts are amazing, and the pricing is fantastic. I take issue with some of the negative reviews here too, as they certainly didn't take the time to give praise all the others times they had an awesome meal here. Not my favorite location. Drive through is always spotty with service. Asked for extra braums sauce on the side. Did not get it. Husbands large sprite was filled 2/3 of the way... had to ask them to top it off.. Husband went inside to ask for the extra sauce we paid for, kid at drive thru was adamant he put it in the bag. Then gave my husband some red tangy ketchup concoction in a container claiming it was braums sauce... obviously not as I've gotten it before... This location has slowly declined from when we first started going. My daughter found a sharp plastic shard in the brownie of her Black Forest sundae. I called the store phone number to let them know and got a fax machine. I called the headquarters and learned that they make the brownies at a centralized bakery, which could have distributed more shards like this to other stores. I was told that a district manager would call me to learn more. I did not receive any call at all. It appears that Braum's doesn't really care. So, I certainly don't care to risk my family's health by eating at any Braum's ever again. read more

I always find myself craving something from Braum's. Their shakes, floats, sundaes, and splits always hit the spot. Then I can simply walk a few steps and get either groceries or food. They have some incredible burgers, and there's customer service is usually great. They do get busy at times, and they seem to forgo cleaning for speed. They value the customer and you can clearly see how hard they work to get the customers orders out as soon as possible. There is the occasional mix up, but they always try to make it right. Then again with all the customizations available it's not that surprising. Overall it's a pleasure each visit. read more

I give this place 3 stars because of the prices are great, otherwise please never order food here unless you want to chance food poisoning. It's always busy with a line in the drive thru (bless their heart) then the parking lot is it's own beast... if you finally make it inside... umm, congratulations! Hopefully you know what you want to order but since they don't post their flavors and you have to actually look at the stickers on the freezer that adds more time to the process. If their was a board of current flavors that could save a lot of time and frustration!! On this particular experience, it was busy so I tried to keep my order simple with two scoops in a cup... only to find out they were pretty much out of everything and told me it would take an hour to de-thaw the ice cream from the freezer! 1). I call bullshit about de-thawing! 2). When you know you'll be busy why would you not have replacement ice creams ready? Especially popular flavors like mint and chocolate chip?!!!!!! I have a major weakness for Cookie Dough ice cream and I'll be damned if Braum's doesn't have the best version out there. Good thing I can only get it when I am in Texas. I have only had their ice cream so I can't vouch for their food but I will say that they have crinkle cut fries, which in my opinion are second only to steak fries. Service is provided mostly by teenagers so it can be hit or miss. Sometimes they are surly and don't speak at all and sometimes they are overly friendly and sugary sweet. I have never really had a problem though, I don't need to engage in an in-depth conversation for someone to give me a scoop of ice cream. This store is typically pretty clean unless you come when they are super busy and no one has had time to wipe the stickiness off of their tables. They also have a small market where you can buy some basic essentials as well as anything you might need to make ice cream sundaes at home if you so choose. The fam and I look forward to Braum's every time we are visiting the rest of the fam in Texas so they can expect to see my smiling face on a pretty regular basis. read more

As far as fast food burgers go, Braums is the BOMB! The quality of meat here is so much better than many places that claim to use fresh meat. I've been to many places that try to sell me a $10-20 burger, only 3 of those places are worthy of the high price tag - The Poach, Angry Dog, and The Grape. On Sunday, my mother called this location to ask if they had an ice cream cake for my nieces birthday. The person on the phone informed her they were out, but had a variety of ice cream pies. When pulling through the drive thru, she asked if she could get one of the ice cream pies. The drive-thru attendant informed her they could not sell her the pie in the drive-thru. She informed them she was handicapped and had no one to assist her in coming inside, then asked if they could make an exception as she was unable to come inside. The attendant walked away and came back to inform her no, they could not make an exception. I'm incredibly disgusted at the extreme lack of customer service for a handicapped individual. I understand a policy is in place, you can however, bend the rules a bit to ensure great customer service. I'm leaving one star only because zero is not an option.
