    Grits

The pancakes were delicious. The grit could have used little salt during cooking so that they didn't require so much to erase the bland flavor . The bacon was too hard. I asked for eggs scrambled hard, they weren't my favorite the waitress was very kind and very patient. The restaurant was quiet and clean with people laughing and enjoying food and each other. The coffee was delicious!! The price was above breakfast expectancy.

Love coming to Snooty Pig. Lulu, Gigi, and Rudy are great servers, so attentive and friendly. Usually always order breakfast but started looking at the chalkboard and saw and ordered their lunch specials the last two weeks. Breakfast is spot on every time. The patty melt and taco salad were great too!! Get their muffins.... so fresh and tasty!

Unlike other businesses within the county, with a few exceptions who either wear them as chin guards or properly, the staff do not wear face masks. The booths are all occupied and the tables do not appear to be socially distanced. The hostess not wearing a face mask was a clue that I clearly missed. Interestingly, majority of the customers approached the premises wearing a face mask. As for the food, I had the desire for waffles this morning. When browsing the menu, I decided getting something which I may not find elsewhere and selected the Pulled Pork Omelette. Usually, I do not get my order until I am in the middle of my second cup of coffee. I had not even finished my first cup when the food was served. Although the pulled pork had little to no flavor, the salsa had sufficient amount. The opposite of mindful eating, I finished the omelette as quickly as possible. Under normal circumstances, I would have finished my coffee before heading out. My second cup was barely touched when I donned on my mask and requested the check.

When we're in Highland Village visiting friends, Ricky and I always get up WAY earlier than Glenda and Reesa. We'll go eat breakfast early and be back home before they're out of bed! And that's why we are at the Snooty Pig Cafe. While I really like the new breakfast places that have become so popular, the old style cafe's with their home style cooking is still my favorite. The lady serving us was phenomenal, in both her personality and her hustle. We never lacked for anything, and my coffee cup never went dry. I had my usual, 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns, and a biscuit. I know, I forgot to take a picture. Some places just get it right, and Snooty Pig is one of those places. A great breakfast, and I will definitely come try lunch. And speaking of lunch, they close at 2 pm, so breakfast and lunch is your only shot at deliciousness! The dessert pictures? Yes, that's what we took back to Glenda and Reesa. Good husband!

Oh wow, their homemade buns for their burgers are mind blowing! I ordered the snooty burger. Loaded with meats and the bun was like eating a cloud! It was so soft and fluffy! It was absolutely amazing! Honestly the bun changed the entire burger and it was like eating a burger again for the first time. I was so impressed! Then there's the cinnamon roll. Oh good gracious! It was decadent. It was a cinnamon roll as big as my hand and packed with flavor! The cinnamon roll was so amazing. So sweet. So FLUFFY. I'm pretty sure they put clouds in all of their baked goods. Great place! I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Texas!

I arrived around 8:30am. The place busy but not packed. The waitress said, "sit wherever you want." Within a moment she had taken my drink order and returned with my cup of coffee and a glass of water. The coffee was fresh (Community Coffee) and had good flavor. I got the French toast combo with sausage, hashbrowns, and two eggs over easy. The hashbrowns had an odd taste; most likely it was the cooking oil. However, everything else was excellent. The place had a local vibe, it was clean, and orderly (typical cafe). The staff were professional and courtious. Parking was ok and price point was typical for area. I will be eating there again and would recommend it to others. Enjoy!

Lots of tables and cute pictures. The place is loud but that's because everyone is talking at their table. Our server Trayvon was super nice and very helpful. He gave some good recommendations since this was our 1st time. We ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and hubby had a Bee's Knee. It had Gin honey and lemon. Hubby got the traditional breakfast-chicken apple sausage, sourdough toast and hash browns and scrambled eggs with cheese. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with the gravy on the side. I rather dip the chicken in the gravy verse having it poured on top. My chicken fried chicken came with grits and sourdough toast. The chicken was so good and flavorful. I loved the grits. I also got a side of chicken apple sausage and when I tell you it was so good. It had just right amount of sweetness. This is a place to bring family and friends from out of town. We will be back.

While we were there, I observed employees loading whole oranges into the fresh orange juice machine. Several oranges fell onto the floor, and I watched the employees pick the oranges up and place them back into the hopper to be juiced. I asked to speak with the owner but was told the owner was not there. A man who identified himself as the general manager came out. I explained what I had observed. The only question he asked was, "Do you know how many oranges fell onto the floor?" I replied that the number wasn't the issue. My concern was that oranges that had contacted the floor were being put back into the juicer. I did not feel my concern was taken seriously, and I requested the owner's contact information. I did not receive it. Because I believe this is a serious food safety concern, I reported this to the Highland Village Code Enforcement Division for investigation. We were excited to celebrate a special occasion here, but instead we left concerned about the restaurant's food handling practices and the response from management. Based on what I personally witnessed, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Fortunately, the daily feature menu provided drink suggestions. When decision making had reached its weekly limit, the Kobe & Crab Smash Burger was ideal. Rather than choose between meat or seafood, the burger is surf & turf between two buns. Fries or onion rings? How about fried onions as a topping and beer-battered fries as a side? While the hatch chili aioli lacked the heat to compensate for the smorgasbord of toppings, it complemented the crab cake.

I was not sure the next time she would return, so I gave my food order. When I last visited, I ordered the Southwest omelette. The entree was carb heavy. In addition to the tortillas which came with the omelette, you still had a choice of either toast or pancakes. Their printed menu and their online menu had a discrepancy. The online menu still listed flour tortillas with the entree; the printed menu did not. I ended ordering the Denver omelette with sourdough toast. Few restaurants serve two whole slices , so I greatly appreciated that. Also, they serve the high-quality jam which I only seen at few places. The omelette in its entirety was not enjoyable. While the interior was fluffy and tasty, the bottom was overcooked. The setup was not consistent. At the hostess counter, there was signage with QR codes asking to rate your experience. The same display was visible on the tables. The table at which I was seated did not have the QR code display, but the surrounding tables did.
