I love visiting the Braum's store for its friendly service, good food and market options. The staff is always nice and courteous. I enjoy the solid cheeseburger and fries meals. The meat quality is good and the fries are always warm and crispy. I went in with a friend and my girlfriend. They love this place and I don't seem to see the hype and in trying to see what the hype was I got a simple 4 piece chicken strips. The wait was a while for only making 4 chicken strips. I ordered them at 5 in the dot and then I went over to the register and asked them about the order at 5:15 then she goes over the the kitchen area to tell the cooks or whatever they're called to make them. So they didn't see the order and they just then placed the strips into the fryer then finally I got my strips at 5:20. 20 after ordering I got my strips... the strips were alright. read more

The past couple times I have been to this braums they make everyone pull past the window to wait on their food. Expect to being waiting here for at least 30 minutes after paying before you even receive your food! Then when they Finally get someone's order ready they walk it up to every single car until they figure out who's food it is.. This is ridiculous! One of Braum's older store designs in bad need of a remodel. This store looks tired, and is dimly lit inside. I wasn't impressed by the state of cleanliness as I have been at other Braum's locations in the past, but it's been several years. The lone staff member at the counter greeted me quickly, and made my selection of two scoops in a cup. There was an awkward moment after she handed me the cup as I asked where to pay. That process seemed to go in slow-motion on her end, but it was the end of the day. The ice cream was solidly frozen, super premium, and definitely tasty. I returned to my car to eat it, as the dining area just didn't seem welcoming. It wasn't about the clientele, just that the dinginess seemed depressing, and ice cream is supposed to be uplifting. To their credit, they were busy at 9p on a Saturday night, both inside and out. Clearly, they have a return clientele, or maybe lots of travelers who are familiar with the brand and staying at the nearby hotels. read more

Being in the food industry for more than 35 years you see a lot of discrepancies in health department policies... Braum's is no different or above the bar.... They do not wear gloves , they do not wash their hands after making food or ice cream dishes... much less after handling cash... My mom and I have been coming here for a few months now for a special treat... most of the time it's ok... but when we went this week it was pretty bad.... Employee comes in for their shift... no washing hands... puts fingers in the cup for a sundae.., absolutely no regard for sanitation... I'm so sad that I have to report this... We will give them one more shot.. I'm hoping that someone in management or corporate will look into this.... This needs to be addressed ASAP!!! read more

All I had was the hot fudge sundae with Heath bar and coffee ice cream but it was excellent! The place was bright and cheery and I enjoyed the visit. I wish I had one of these where I live. I was very impressed with Braums. How many times have you been to one of those other burger places and asked for a shake only to be told that it is broken or being cleaned? That won't happen at Braums. Also, the burgers are very flavorful and you can trust that the meat is good because Braums has their own farm where they get the milk and meat for their restaurants. Also, I was VERY IMPRESSED to see that the prices for most items in their market were MUCH CHEAPER than going to a grocery store! You can't go wrong with this place! Update: 5-29-17 we don't go to Braum's anymore. For some reason it has a funky smell in the place. Maybe we'll go if we aren't in Tyler but until they fix that problem we won't be back. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the friendliness of the staff and customer service is outstanding there! read more

I was surprised that this Braum's was dirty and the service was not very good. We haven't been to a Braum's for years and wanted a quick dinner and maybe a little ice cream. We had a hamburger and chicken strips that were pretty good but we just wanted to get out of there. It's burgers and fries, hard to mess that up and the ice cream is always good. Have to agree on the place always looking a little dirty, especially the ice cream prep area but that can be attributed to the amount of business they do. Having said that, they need some serious retraining on their customer service skills. These look like the most miserable group of people I have ever seen in a retail environment and it often comes across as being rude to customers. You never see a smile on these poor kids faces and getting a thank you from one of them is pretty rare. This is probably a managment issue more than anything else As I'm sure they are told to crank the food out as fast as possible. It's a small complaint but one that may keep me from spending my hard earned money here in the future. read more

What's not love?! Great, CHEAP Ice Cream. You can get a double scoop hot fudge sunday, with some extra toppings (such as; peanut butter, brownies, cookies, etc.) for around 3 bucks! I've been to a couple of different Braum's stores and they are all pretty similar; clean, friendly and serve delicious Ice Cream. I waited patiently in line for an ice cream cone for what felt like an hour. It might've been closer to 30 minutes, but the wait was excruciating. When I finally had my cone in hand, I waited another 5 minutes to be rang up, while the staff was giggling and joking around, working very slowly at the customers' expense. This is our favorite place to grab a burger and ice-cream. The price is right, especially for the ice-cream. About half the price you'd pay at Baskin Robbins or Marble Slab, and every bit as good. They have a store as well where you can get fresh dairy items and produce and other things that are also very reasonably priced. Wish we had one closer to home. Love us some Braum's! read more

We asked for a spoon and the lady was so put off about it. To make it worse, there was a big hair at the bottom of my ice cream.

Good clean place. Hardly ever eat there because of my diet (can't eat bread or fried), but love their ice cream and shakes and breezes. Just hate it when they are out of cherry limeade, but can settle for lime. We usually buy our milk, cottage cheese, & sour cream here as the price is as good or better Than anywhere else & the product is better. Drive thru is slow, but worth the wait. I have always loved burgers and icecream at Braums, so I,suggested my family stop on our way home during a roadtrip. Big mistake! My sister-in-law is lactose intolerent and asked for a salad wirh no cheese. My mother-In-law did the same. They brought her a salad, with cheese, then were very,rude when we,brought it back, explaining the allergy. Not sure what to say, we came here today to get some ice cream but when we went to order, the ice cream had no labels as to what flavor a they were. The girl behind the counter, Carrie asked what we would like and we told her we weren't sure because we didn't know what the flavors were. I guess I kinda hoped that she could tell us what some of the flavors were but she just looked at us with a blank star. It was pretty ridiculous how my husband and I were treated tonight and I'm so angry we're probably never going back to this location specifically. I've never had a problem with the one on troup highway or the one in Athens, they are both always pleasant. The one on Broadway however has left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth. We went through the drive thru and I had asked specifically for no cheese on my hamburger. We get all the way home and notice that it has cheese on it. Already irritated, my husband wolfed down his food really fast and went to remedy my problem. He told them, handed them the old burger and without my husband noticing, they used THE SAME BURGER WE BROUGHT THEM BACK, SCRAPED THE CHEESE OFF OF IT AS LAZILY AS POSSIBLE (leaving signs that it was obviously the old burger) THREW THE PATTY BACK ON THE GRILL TO HEAT IT UP FOR A MINUTE AND THEN PROCEEDED TO HAND MY HUSBAND THE SAME FUCKING BURGER WITH CHEESE REMNANTS STILL ON IT THAT WAS ALREADY ALMOST AN HOUR OLD. I'm sorry, but if THESE are your standards, then WHY the hell are you still in business?! (Side note I used to work at this exact location but ended up leaving because of disgusting work conditions, an incredibly racist boss that STILL works there who got fired from managing the other location but somehow got her managing job back at this location, and they do this type of shit to their customers. This is the first time I've been back in a long time as I wanted a quick meal tonight and was hoping maybe they finally fixed things, guess not!) I'm from Oklahoma grew up on Braums. Yet this store acted like they could not make a burger without it being a combo. Employees were clueless on how to ring it up. The creator of braums would be ashamed of this location. The clueless girl took forever to figure out my order. Now I'm currently waiting even more in the parking lot for 2 burgers with nothing else.
