But here is the deal I asked for them to diagnose why my truck wouldn't go into O/d. So I leave it with them and this is how they do people. Two months later they call me and tell me it's going to be $2500 to rebuild my transmission. I told them I didn't want them to but what I didn't know is they had already tore my trans apart and it was in a grocery buggy in there shop. But I was told sure you can go and get anytime but no one was telling me it had absolutely no tranny in it. Then when I was going to pay for them to rebuild it. They push my truck which was running when I carried it there remind you. So my truck has under a 100000 miles on the original motor so they put all the parts in back of truck and now they are ruined completely now because of rust. And now probably going to have to scrap because I can't afford to pay $2500 for the rebuild because truck is only worth $500. What would you do.

Sean (I believe he may be the store manager) greeted me right away as soon as I walked in and asked how he could help. I explained what I needed, and he let me know they didn't have an opening until October 12 and that state inspections aren't available on Saturdays. That was good information to know! What impressed me most was that even though they couldn't fit me in, Sean went out of his way to give me 5-6 other locations nearby in Belton that offer inspections. That kind of effort really stood out. Even though Firestone couldn't help me directly, the level of customer service I received would make me highly recommend this Raymore location for any of your car service needs.

The person I was speaking with then questioned why I would ask about the warranty and seemed offended by my question. In his words, "No one has ever asked me that question before." I find it odd, first someone would question a customer asking about how the warranty coverage works on a $2000 investment in a rebuilt transmission and 2nd customers typically don't ask warranty questions. Just a bizarre, brief, back and forth between myself and the sales associate over warranty questions that convinced me based on this customer service experience alone I would not do business with this shop.
