Yum! Authentic empanadas made with love. Are they a little pricey? Yes. Are they worth every penny? Also yes!

A small place with a couple of tables. Plenty of free parking. You could either have them heat the empanadas or you can do so at home. If they heat them, they recommend eating them within 30-minutes. That's what we did - we ordered the six pack with three sauces to take home. We got the beef, pulled pork, chicken, humita, mushroom, and caprese. The empanadas are pretty big. They don't really need the sauce. Good flavor. They also sell pop, water, and juice. It's not a place I would go to regularly but I'd definitely order from them again. read more

The empanadas are amazing. I tend to order them when I'm entertaining because they are the perfect finger food. You can serve them as a light appetizer or you can serve several and make a whole meal out of them. I also stock up on the frozen chorizo to grill out. They are nice, mild and super juicy. Argentine chorizo is not the red oily chorizo you may have seen elsewhere. Get chimichurri to put on it and serve it in a slice of baguette. Also, ask them how to grill provoleta. Small family owned business that serves some of the best empanadas I've tasted. Smacked on the Northville/Novi border on Novi Rd. Their empanadas are Argentinian and it is my first experience trying empanadas of that origin. Super well seasoned and so filling. I tried the beef, chicken, pork, and mushroom flavors. I got the 6 pack with a free empanada and it was just such a good deal. Lovely woman gave my order right when it was supposed to be picked up and just great service overall. Def try them out. First time visiting. I had a few questions and they were so amazing and helpful with what I was looking for. I tried a beef and a chicken empanada and they were delicious!!! I then ordered 3 of each of the beef and chicken empanadas. You are able to get them half baked if you want to finish baking them at home or on another day within a week. Lunch for three to go. Bought the box of 6 which gets you a 7th for free. Beef, chicken portuguese, and spinach and cheese. Still fantastic empanadas. Chicken portuguese is a little bland but the chicken is super tender. I still think the beef is my fave. Did not call ahead so we did have wait for things to get cooked. But so well worth the wait. I got to try these at the Saline food truck festival. I got the vegan and the beef. The vegan was so creamy, with creamed corn and pumpkin filling. Very unique tastes. The beef was amazing, nice and hot, with the perfect balance of beef and veggies. I'll definitely hit them up to try the pulled pork and mushroom. read more

I'm not gonna make this a long or super in-depth review, this is hands down THE BEST empanadas I've ever had in my life. From the dough that manages to be soft and crispy at the same time, to the beautifully packed and flavorful fillings, these are truly a work of culinary masterpiece. I got one beef, one chicken, a vegan empanada and finally one with apple compote. Not that they needed it, but the two sauces I received definitely complemented them (esp the chimichuri). Also the gentleman that serviced me was very warm and passionate about the product that his family puts out. These are the types of businesses that deserve recognition! read more

I love a good empanada! Whilst Visiting family here I saw Brava wasn't far at all. It's a small but very clean and calm space Just three tables but I gather it's predominantly a carry out spot. Regardless, the empanadas are excellent and VERY fresh. I had the pork and potato along with the traditional beef. Both are were great tasting warmed up. Prices I consider very reasonable considering I've paid more for slightly smaller ones else where. Definitely coming back before I leave town. read more

These empanadas are insane. Brought 24 to a tailgate recently and they were inhaled in about 45 minutes. Tried the beef, chicken and mushroom and loved all three. Unique empanada restaurant for the area. Based on limited seating availability this is primarily a takeout place. We tried a variety of empanada including beef, chicken, ham and cheese, corn, and mushroom. We all agreed the beef is the best although I would have preferred to try it with the chimichurri sauce. But they forgot it in our order but they did ended up crediting us back for the dessert empanada we also had. I would definitely try again. read more

This place is just wonderful. This is a great choice if you're looking for something different from the typical cuisine around this area. The flavors are different, but subtle and not in your face. I tend to go with the traditional beef, but I've had several others and they were fantastic. Staff/Owners are top notch as well. I ordered two dozen empanadas for a birthday party and they did not disappoint! We ordered some of each flavor and each was balanced and cooked well. The chicken empanada with the spicy mayo sauce was a collective favorite. The service is always fast and friendly. I fell in love with empanadas during an extended holiday in Buenos Aires and have relied on an El Salvadorian variety (very good at El Guanaco on Livernois in Troy) to take care of my cravings. My wife and I stopped by after savoring a coffee ice cream cone at Guernsey Farms Dairy (directly across Novi Road) and bought a selection of 4 varieties for dinner. We enjoyed them all, but decided the beef filling was our favorite, though I also liked the mushroom/cheese, pulled pork and chicken varieties, as well.
