    6 pack with free empanada!
    Rin G.

Small family owned business that serves some of the best empanadas I've tasted. Smacked on the Northville/Novi border on Novi Rd. Their empanadas are Argentinian and it is my first experience trying empanadas of that origin. Super well seasoned and so filling. I tried the beef, chicken, pork, and mushroom flavors. I got the 6 pack with a free empanada and it was just such a good deal. Lovely woman gave my order right when it was supposed to be picked up and just great service overall. Def try them out. The chicken is my fave! Soooo soo delicious!

I got to try these at the Saline food truck festival. I got the vegan and the beef. The vegan was so creamy, with creamed corn and pumpkin filling. Very unique tastes. The beef was amazing, nice and hot, with the perfect balance of beef and veggies. I'll definitely hit them up to try the pulled pork and mushroom.

I'm not gonna make this a long or super in-depth review, this is hands down THE BEST empanadas I've ever had in my life. From the dough that manages to be soft and crispy at the same time, to the beautifully packed and flavorful fillings, these are truly a work of culinary masterpiece. I got one beef, one chicken, a vegan empanada and finally one with apple compote. Not that they needed it, but the two sauces I received definitely complemented them (esp the chimichuri). Also the gentleman that serviced me was very warm and passionate about the product that his family puts out. These are the types of businesses that deserve recognition!

Exciting new place in Northville superb, family owned and friendly service. Clean little place with some Argentinian sweets to buy and Messi poster on the wall. They have 4 types of empanadas with different meats and 4 types with no meat. Also an apple empanada as a dessert. The dough was perfectly flaky and fillings were plentiful.

I love a good empanada! Whilst Visiting family here I saw Brava wasn't far at all. It's a small but very clean and calm space Just three tables but I gather it's predominantly a carry out spot. Regardless, the empanadas are excellent and VERY fresh. I had the pork and potato along with the traditional beef. Both are were great tasting warmed up. Prices I consider very reasonable considering I've paid more for slightly smaller ones else where. Definitely coming back before I leave town.

I had a chance to try them on Yelp event. There were two options available, spinach and cheese and vegan corn. I only could eat the vegan one and it was very good. My husband tried both and he liked them too but said the corn one was better.

Unique empanada restaurant for the area. Based on limited seating availability this is primarily a takeout place. We tried a variety of empanada including beef, chicken, ham and cheese, corn, and mushroom. We all agreed the beef is the best although I would have preferred to try it with the chimichurri sauce. But they forgot it in our order but they did ended up crediting us back for the dessert empanada we also had. I would definitely try again.

Empanadas! Crimp style indicates what the filling is.

Yum! Authentic empanadas made with love. Are they a little pricey? Yes. Are they worth every penny? Also yes!

The food is amazing. It's not easy to get to with the road construction, but definitely worth it.

This included chicken and mushroom, chorizo and black bean, shrimp and crab, and bulgogi empanadas, along with ground beef, and cheese carimañolas. The chicken and mushroom and chorizo and black bean were my favorites of the 4 empanadas. The shrimp and crab was flavorful, but had a prevalent fish taste. The bulgogi was enjoyable, as well, but had a bit of kick. As for the carimañolas, I liked the ground beef a bit more than the cheese. The dish came with a sour sauce and, the cilantro based, aji sauce. Both were great, to the point where I didn't have a preference. For our entrees, we got the deep fried red snapper and the meat platter. The snapper was delicious, and the bones did not negatively impact the enjoyability of the dish like I thought it may. It came with limes, fried plantains, and an avocado salad. I recommend utilizing the limes, and trying the avocado salad simultaneously with the snapper. The meat platter came with chorizo, both links and pulled, fried pork belly, rice, a fried egg, red beans, sweet plantains, and avocado. Of the 3 meats, the links were my favorite. As for the 2 kinds of plantains, I definitely preferred the sweet over the fried. This was a solid meal, and you can't go wrong with any of other the menu options, either.

There are only 3 booths and two tables. The place is clean and is equipped with some modern signage. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Atmosphere, as I said small and homey. Lots of windows to view the outside world. Prices seemed reasonable for where you are but really got my attention was the food itself Placed our order and the food appeared in a reasonable timeframe. When I tasted my shredded beef burrito I was hooked. It was good. Three burritos covered with cheese (I like mine without the cheese) alongside rice and beans. Beans were pretty good as was the rice but there is no doubt that the burrito took center stage. Drinks are on the lesser side of the equation as there is a cooler with what drinks are available. They do have Mexican soda and carry out. Well that's about it. Close to my home, reasonable prices, good food and friendly staff. Will I go back? Yes and I recommend you give this place a try.

For nachos they were fine but be aware nachos would have to be other worldly to impress me at this point. I am nacho-ed out. They were chips with good toppings and I'm sure if you still like nachos these would do it for you. The chimi combo though? OMG. They let me mix and match. The shredded meats stuffed in massive quantities into non-greasy fried tortilla shells. The shredded beef was my fave, having a real depth with a variety of spices that danced across my tongue. Super moist but in a perfectly crispy shell. Speaking of moist the chicken was fantastic, perfectly seasoned and shredded. I could not begin to finish this massive portion. You should probably just get one but damn when I return I'll probably still get two because I want both of these again. I'm still thinking about the meat. Salsas were tasty. Particularly the hot. Beans and rice were good. They are super friendly here and dine in worked. I was surprised at how nice our experience was. I mean canned pop (meh) but I got to have a bit of pineapple Jarritos as a treat. I'm going back. My husband will have to do nachos solo, I need all my stomach room for chimis.

I got the chicken tacos and 8oz side of rice and beans. Their menu read confusing, as they didn't have prices on the different meats, and tacos ranged from $2.99-$3.99 so I wasn't even sure how much my tacos would come to. I also thought it was 8oz combined of rice & beans for like $2.99 but I believe it rang up as individual 8oz containers. My total for the plate (3 tacos) & sides came to ~$16 without a tip or drink. The chicken tacos were SO bland. I tried adding more lime, the grilled onions, radishes, both the red and green salsas, and even rice and beans but nothing could rescue the flat flavor of nothingness every time I bit into my tacos. My red salsa that came with my plate was genuinely lame, it had hints of Tabasco sauce? Like they were trying to make it so spicy without any actual depth or flavor. I expected more from this place. I did try my friends steak from his taco and it was a bit more flavorful, so perhaps I got the wrong meat. Their employees were very nice and service wasn't too long, restaurant clean but limited seating! I would only return here to try the California burrito.
