My favorites are the Reuben, the Georgia Reuben, and Tarb's Tenacious Tenure. The latkes and knishes are also fantastic. There was a period where the bread was so sharp it felt like my mouth was getting cut up every time I ate there, which honestly became part of the experience. But the past few times I've gone, the bread has been perfect. Zingerman's Deli lives up to the hype.

So while it was chaotic and overwhelming, the workers would hand you a menu, explain the purchasing process and even give you requested samples! Due to trying a sample of their pretzel, I ended buying a bag. An $8 bag!!! It was perfectly crunchy and buttery and very good! I don't even like pretzels and these impressed me. Also got a $9 bag of only 5 palmier cookies. They were good but definitely a splurge. BF bought a small bottle of balsamic vinegar for $23, like wut?! I eyed a jar of salsa for $28 and jam for $16 but damn, everything was way above even farmer's market prices. The sandwiches start at $18 for a small and go to $24 for a large. BF and I got the chicken avocado on challah bread and a new crunchy pickle. Zingerman's does a good job with their pickles! Skins were a little too hard but I love that they're not overly pickled and still crunchy and not too much other seasoning. For $21, the sandwich was not very big and they don't include chips or fries. If I lived closer, heck yes I would come here pretty often to try a sample and buy a very expensive baked good. I appreciated the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was giving Trader Joe's employee energy! Parking was a little tricky but not impossible. We came with locals so they knew what was up.

They also carry baked goods and various other prepared foods from local businesses like Zingerman's and Avalon. They do $6 sushi rolls after 8pm every night as well as some excellent deals on baked goods (50% off). The sushi is usually $11-15 a roll so the discount is great. It's not the best sushi in the world but it's very good for grocery quality. Otherwise, they (unsurprisingly) mostly carry organic and small-business brands. They have good sales sometimes but even then you can expect prices to be about 25% higher than what you'd see at a "normal" grocery store. Overall it's a fun place to go if you want high quality products but it's not really a feasible substitute for everyday shopping due to the prices. Will go back for the sushi at a minimum!

Gai's Kitchen is located inside of Bethlehem Church and when they say kitchen, they really mean it, there's no dine in or host stand to place an order haha. Despite this though, my friend and I were allowed to eat here in the church cafeteria adjacent to the kitchen after stumbling our way into the church and placing our order online, but just so everyone is aware this is for pickup, take out or DoorDash really. Now on to the food! My favorite thing we ordered was the Leshan Beef soup, so comforting, warming, and flavorful! Xiao, the owner, was kind enough to teach us how to best enjoy it which was to first take a sip of the broth, have some of the veggies, then dip the beef into the chili powder. The billionaires fried rice was unfortunately a bit under seasoned but at least the portion size was quite generous. The mapo tofu was very authentic and the numbing spice they used was top notch, although Xiao did mention that they would hopefully be moving towards using a more tender cut of tofu than the medium/hard tofu they're currently using which I think would be delightful. The snowflakes dumplings were good although I question how well the crispness of the dumpling lace will hold up during carry out considering we got to have these fresh. All in all very promising and authentic, I'm excited to see what else might make it onto the menu and how things might still improve from here, they're working out some kinks with the soft opening and they've only been open for 2 weeks!

Of course! I thought I would hear back saying something on the lines of... On my way! or I'm here! Instead, I was looking at the clock and thought I would look out my window. As it was, there was a car parked precisely where I told them to park. I went to the front door and a young man was standing there as if he had been there awhile. I asked if he rang the bell and he said yes, though I didn't hear my doorbell. No worries... He hands me my one bag and very small pkg of TP. The total was 60+ and I expected more bags, but no worries again, then I see he bought the most expensive grapes, the smallest/greenest Cantaloupe, 5 fairly yellow bananas, (for which I had requested greener ones) the smallest bag of spinach and 3 tomatoes I am fairly sure were not "organic" at all. He selected Kroger's, which is my "go to" and I know their products very well, and he did select the most expensive of almost every item. Called the number but received a VM. Reason for my call? The price had not been adjusted for the TP substitution. Hopefully, Benny will call me with a new total on my one and only order with Delivice. So, when you put this one lil ol' service of mine all together, I rate it a two (2). I have ordered from three other local A2 delivery services and found each to be far more superior and professional. They provided a much better communication between shopper and customer, better product selections and each had a much better "user friendlier" website (BTW). Also, I think giving a new customer a discount is smart, maybe then I wouldn't feel so "ripped off!" and disappointed. You did not, and I have left your sphere. Good bye and Good Luck. This has meant no more waste, no spending a bunch on eating out, much less time grocery shopping and meal planning, but still able to cook and eat together at home. Meez has been a new addition and has a lot about it that is great. The most remarkable thing is how quick it is to cook as they do ALL the prep for you. No chopping or peeling, it comes vacuum packed and ready to use whether that means cubed, shredded, or sliced. Also, quality of ingredients (while not necessarily organic, is very good, fresh, tasty). Generally Meez meals take 1/2 the time to make as the other services that rely on you doing the prep work. The meals themselves tend to be quite tasty, though we have not been crazy about some quirky flavor combos. Also, fewer meals to choose from than other services, so that can be frustrating. We have two vegetarian teenagers and there are always at least three veggie entrees. Also they are able to flex and make items vegan or gluten free if that is your thing. They tend to be somewhat lower calorie and some meals have the Weight Watchers points included if you care about that. The people at Meez are very nice and accommodating. However, they are a relatively newer, smaller business so.....NO app, just a website and its interface with my android phone is quirky. Also, other services show you menus for months to come, Meez has a couple weeks out only. Finally, Meez sends you a cardboard instructions, no pictures or step by step while most others do photos of each step. Not a big deal for me, but some might care. That said, I think they are greener and more of their stuff can recycle. Also, the other companies give you the whole recipe with amounts if you ever want to do it yourself. I have not seen that with Meez. In sum, great quality, super easy to make, very flexible for different dietary needs, no hard sell, just charged if you order (many services charge and send food unless you cancel). I use Meez for about 8 to 10 meals each month. Highly recommend you check them out.
