Bravo auto collision did an amazing job on my car. They communicated with me on what repairs were needed, ordered the parts, and repaired my car a day before the estimated completion date. When I went to pick up my car the staff was extremely friendly and when I saw my car, it literally brought tears to my eyes. WoW! Very rarely do you find a company that does, what they say they'll do. My hubby's brand new Silverado was hit by a flying fender on the fwy. The insurance recommend we take it here. I didn't some research and turns out they came very highly recommend from a family member. Let me just say, they did an OUTSTANDING job! As good as new. As if that wasn't enough, they did it in 4 days. The truck was dropped off Monday at close, and it was ready Friday afternoon. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They even detailed the Truck. I was minding my own business driving through the underground parking garage one day, when suddenly a concrete support column jumped out and hit me on the rear fender on the passenger side of my new 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT. I immediately got out to investigate the damage. It was not good. I turned to confront the perpetrator, but the column had returned to its original location, and was quietly standing there mocking me. I knew I had the right column though because of the tell-tale signs of Monaco White paint on the steel cable wrapped around the column. Well, maybe it didn't happen quite that way. Maybe I wasn't used to driving the car and cut the corner too closely. Maybe it was my fault. In any case, the damage did not look that bad. However, it was something I could not repair myself and the mileage on my car was only 2,400 miles. The steel cable around the column had dented the rear-side of the passenger-side back door at the exact location where the door meets the back fender. It would be difficult to fix because of the damage on the edges of the door and fender. However, I couldn't live with this for the life of the car. I had to get it fixed. I called my State Farm Agent and told them what had happened. They were very sympathetic. I asked them for five reputable auto repair shops in the Redondo Beach and Torrance area. The agent gave me six repair shops. I visited all of them. Sadly, the prices ranged from $1,100 to $1,600. I was amazed at how consistent they were. I later learned that they all use the same repair estimating software, either CCC or Mitchell. They all stated that the back door and the entire fender, including the part above the door and below the door, all need to be painted. In addition, the dents have to be pounded out and the indentations need to be filled. I had an appointment to see my Hyundai dealer for 6-month service the following day. While there, I asked my service representative for a referral to a body repair shop. He recommended Bravo Auto Collision. He stated that the dealership uses them. He suggested that I talk with Enrique or James. I called Bravo and spoke with Enrique. I told him what had happened. I set up an appointment to meet the following day. I drove to Bravo the following day and met with Enrique. I showed him the damage to the car. He then used his Mitchell Estimating Software to estimate a price. I told Enrique that I would talk to my Hyundai service representative and get back to him. Enrique expressed a willingness to negotiate if I didn't use insurance and paid in cash, avoiding the credit card fees. I told him I would get back to him. He seemed reasonable and trustworthy. There was no high-pressure sales. I discussed Bravo with my Hyundai service representative. He had nothing but praise for their work. I called Enrique and told him that I wanted to do a deal. We agreed to meet that afternoon. I drove to the shop, and I told him that his estimate was higher than I wanted to pay. I showed him the other estimates that I had received. Enrique reworked his numbers and came back with an all cash price that beat the other estimates. In addition, he agreed to fix a minor scratch in the front bumper. He said that it would take exactly 3 days. It was a Friday, so we agreed that I would bring the car in on Monday at 11:00am and pick it up on Thursday at 11:00am. On Monday, I took the car to the shop at 11:00am. We did a car inspection to document all existing damage, and I signed the required paper work. No deposit was required. Enrique had arranged for Enterprise Rent A Car to pick me up and take me to the rental company. I went to the rental agency and they gave me the body shop repair rate. I rented a car for 3 days. On Thursday, I called Bravo and Enrique confirmed the car would be ready by 11:00am. I returned the rental car and arrived at Bravo at 11:30am. The car was ready. Enrique and I inspected the car. It looked marvelous! It looked like my new car again. I was so relieved. I paid the bill in cash, expressed my gratitude, and drove home. I kept looking at the car for the next half hour expecting to find some imperfection in the repair. I found nothing! I was so grateful to have my new car back. Update: Guess what happened the day after I posted the review...I got reimbursed. Although I would like to think it was yelp, I'm pretty sure it was the call to my lawyer. I think Bravo (Juan) realized that they hadn't received the total payment from AAA (which so happens I was in possession of and didn't realize it). I got a call the next morning from Cheryl (who was still relaying messages from Juan) stating he said to let me know he was doing it out of customer courtesy. Customer courtesy my a**, this is due to the inferior work of your painter. My apologies to Cheryl who got caught in the middle. She needs to tell Juan to grow some **** and handle his business instead of hiding behind her. You may be able to bully other people out of their money, but not me. read more

Visited Bravo on recommendation by South Bay Lexus to fix a dented bumper. I spoke with them on the phone and sent multiple pictures to get an idea of the quote. They came back with $750. I supplied the bumper purchased through Lexus as well as the reflector that was damaged. So I was looking at a total repair of about $1200. IMO too low to file an insurance claim. I fully accepted that this was a preliminary quote and that they would need to see the vehicle to fully determine damage. However, when I arrived the person providing the quote practically insisted that I file an insurance claim. I refused and then suddenly the $750 quote became $3000! He said I needed "a computer" that was located behind the bumper. I explained that the Backup Monitor SENSOR was fully functional and operated as intended. He then insisted the "Computer" was damaged. I immediately checked the price of the SENSOR and it cost $1000. So in essence he was going to charge me $1250 to unscrew and unplug the SENSOR from the wiring harness and reattach a new one that I already informed him I did not need. He insisted that this would be the case and that his cost was fair. I assume his tactics work most of the time because a majority of Lexus owners do not flinch at his dishonest business practices, underbid quotes and frankly bait and switch tactics. Most probably do not research the parts needed or estimate the actual labor required and I'm sure he makes a great living. read more

Dropped my car off 10 days ago for repairs; and according to their estimate, they were supposed to have it for 9 days, which was harsh in and of itself, but what else can you do about it? No communication from the business about the fact that they needed an extra part and would have my car for perhaps one or two days longer. When I called, no real resolution was offered until I voiced my dissatisfaction about the situation. How you can be so blasé about the fact that I based my actions on what was told to me by your business is absolutely appalling. I will not return here, nor will I ever refer these folks to anyone I care about. Ridiculous! Now having received my vehicle after 2 weeks, I will be fair and say that they did a great job on my car. IF YOU ARE PAYING OUT OF YOUR POCKET AVOID, AVOID, AVOID THIS PLACE. My friend was visiting out of state and borrowed my car and got into an accident. My insurance company asked me to take the car for an estimate and setup an appointment with Bravo Auto collision. We took our car there and they gave us an estimate of $982. Later I found out that insurance is not covering my car so I thought no problem its $982 so i will pay for it. I took the car back to Bravo Auto Collission and discussed the final price. They told me once they start working on the car It might cost more so I told them I don't want them to start any work on the car and give me an exact estimate first. They asked me to leave the car and DIDNOT inform me there will be a charge for the estimate as there was NO charge for the first estimate. Next day they call me and I was shocked when the owner Juan told me It will cost me $4086. I told him I need to think about it and he said he will charge me $200 for estimate if I don't leave my car there. I went the next day to pickup my car and they charge me $200. I took my car to another body shop that had 5 star reviews on Yelp ( I will mention their name once I get me car back after repair and write a review for them ) They asked me the same to leave the car there as they will have to remove the bumper to give me an exact estimate. Next day I called them and to my shock and disbelief and relief at the same time the estimate was for $1600 and it included all the original parts. Thats 60% less than Bravo's $4086. I will definitely avoid Bravo Auto Colission and will inform my insurance company and my insurance agent about my experience with them. I am changing my rating because the only reason I brought my car to Bravo was because Lexus recommended them my car get special paint not easily chipped or scratches. My bumper now has 2 marks where the pant rubbed off from barely dragging a grocery bag over it!!! When my car was hit the second time Bravo replaces the bumper but I don't think they painted it correctly or it would not have came off so easily. Now of course I'm having it redone no thanks to the chop shop Bravo Auto Body. I recommend First Class Auto body they are the best in the South Bay!!!! This is what the owners reply to me was when he read my review!!!! Miss bravo auto collision is in higher standing then first class auto body we actually work with them and the owner and use the same materials. Paint doesn't chjl off wheels you probably scratched them again. And your comment towards bravo is so ridiculous because we specialize in chairmanship and doing work the right way. You just aren't understanding. We put our blood swear and tears in your repairs. We've been doing working for all high end dealerships for 25 yrs plus. Sorry you had a bad experience. While they did this work on my car my back window has about 12 etched scratches in the glass and I told him to replace my window and return it, I want him to put it back to how it was when I brought it into him and he got very upset and changed his attitude and told me "I know how you are"!!!!! I never heard back so I assumed he was honoring my request. When I can to pick my car up he was not even there he had his daughter Handel it and when I say my back window which I know Juan knew about he just didn't care and that was obvious by him not being there and his daughter even agreed and said that clearly you can see it didn't match. He didn't want to do anything about it!! How sad. If you read the reviews that are not recommend they are telling you the same thing I am, Bravo Auto Body is a Chop Shop and Juan you should be ashamed of yourself for telling me I scratched my rim because I will post a picture of how it just chipped of because you painted over the d paint!! My car was in need of my bumper being replaced due to someone hitting me while stopped in traffic. Lexus suggested Bravo to me and if I could give them 10 stars I would. First let me say Stephanie who works there took care of everything for me and because of her persistence with the insurance company the service department there was able to fix my car better than new. I am extremely satisfied with the work done by the Bravo crew. From the quick estimate and rental car set-up, they provided excellent customer service. My insurance company gave me a $30 a day allowance for a rental car, and Cheril made sure to tell Enterprise that the car needed to fall into that category to avoid any added fees. Got a new car and of course got rear ended. The dealership recommended this place and the reviews seem pretty good. Im giving 3 stars for a couple reasons 1st. everything looks great except when i went to close my trunk, I realized that the inside handle is upside down. it took me many tries to figure out what the problem was. So as nice as everything looks it worry's me that there were other small things overlooked that could turn into big things. 2nd there hours suck. I work 8 to 5 mon -fri and so do they. On 2/2/2017, my 2007 Lexus LS collided with a Subaru SUV, driven by someone who thought he could speed through a left turn, across rush hour morning traffic. Even though the police and the other driver's insurance company (AAA) ruled that he was 100% at fault, nearly two months of aggravation began for me. I called South Bay Lexus for a referral to a competent body shop to repair my car. They recommended that I have the car towed to Bravo Auto Collision, the shop that they use for all of their body work. After repeated negotiations with AAA and $11,572.49 worth of repairs, On 3/24/2917, Bravo delivered my car to my home, in what seemed like better condition than before the collision. Lets just say, worst people to work with. They took over a month to fix my car, cut into my frame and now I cannot get market value for my car, and they broke one of my personal belongings.
