love love love this place. me and my bf go everytime we want a heavy plate of breakfast and a good price. they serve everything so fast and the drink sizes are insane. for the cheap price the size of the iced teas are the best! the food is always delicious and the desi manager is always so sweet greeting you and making sure everything is good and correct. i'm supposed this place isn't bigger because it needs to be. we get the omelet meal or the crepes and pancakes. love it everytime. the nutella crepe or waffles is the best and they add bananas as well ! the coffee is fresh everytime and the food is always portioned perfectly. they do have booths as well as chairs but if u prefer booths they will gladly send you to one. love everything about this place. we love 25 min away in tulare but we definitely will be coming back! read more

Talk about dumb luck, car hunting and just by chance found this breakfast place. Staff was friendly and took our order promptly. Since it was 10 AM there were a number or retired folks like me. When I got my senior special it was an ample amount. I was full and my doctor will tell me my diet wasn't working. Too bad. It is really hard to mess up breakfast, but this restaurant managed to do it quite well. I ordered the steak breakfast, requesting that the steak be cooked to medium and the eggs over easy. What I got was an extremely overcooked steak that was very tough and not seasoned in any way, not even a dash of salt. In addition. the cut was very poor; at least 30% of it was fat and gristle. Local diner located in southeast Visalia is diner food plain and simple. It's small and cramped but they do have another room. Don't expect fast service the poor dears that are the servers are also the hostesses and seems like maybe cook assistants as well. They are friendly but not fast. This is a come and hang out diner. They offer a senior menu and 10% discounts for military and first responders. The biscuits and gravy aren't out of this world but it's good. The omelets are good. The Denver was fully loaded with ham, onions and green peppers. The portions are huge. The coffee is diner coffee a little acidic like it's been sitting for a minute. Anyways the first time I came I ordered the Cinnamon roll French toast. It was really good. Had plenty of leftovers to take home. Btw I love their coffee! Not a huge fan of diner coffees but this one I do enjoy. The second time I came I went with a classic breakfast which was pancakes and the usual sides like county potatoes. I also like their pancakes as well very fluffy. My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles pricey and not good at all. The chicken strips looked like something from a frozen meal. Took close to an hour and a half for our food. I realize it's a holiday, but the wait for food was too long for diner fare. Ordered eggs Benedict since the special of Huevos Rancheros was not available. When it finally arrived, the Benedict sauce was broken, the poached eggs were over hard, and for some reason there was shredded cheese between the egg and the sauce. The cowboy scramble that was supposed to be smothered in gravy barely wet the biscuit. When more gravy was requested, it took close to 5 minutes to get. The waitress was so attentive and the owner as well who made the rounds and ensured everyone was doing well. Food was out in a timely manner. I gotta knock this place for the food though. As soon as they take your order they print out the bill on a little handheld device. The server came back dropped off the food and never came back. My daughter needed water and I asked the server for water and she never came back. I only got one cup of coffee when they dropped off the cup. Server never checked up on us after everything for like 30 minutes. I tried telling Pam (owner maybe?) about it and she just ignored me and got the water and tried giving me coffee. My husband's breakfast was supposed to come with three chicken strips it was brought to our table with two we had to ask for the third strip. Are hash browns were soaked in Grease and extremely overcooked there was no flavor to any of the food. Waffles were burnt. I had to use coffee creamer the coffee tastes burnt as well. The food came back to our table quickly but I would rather have waited for fresh food hot with flavor then to get fast food soggy and burnt. Ok I have been meaning to try this place as a friend of mine frequents it. The place is very outdated, a very typical hole in the wall. Don't let that scare you. The food was amazing I had the Cinnamon French Toast it was literally a cinnamon roll bread thick and flavorful, the portions are so big, my daughter has the BLT. In addition to my meal I ordered a side of Biscuits and Gravy which is one thing I have been trying to find in the 5 years I have lived in Visalia that taste extremely good this is the place but the downfall is when I got my plate my gravy was room temp. Not sure if it was the first thing prepped. I told them if the gravy was hot it would have been phenomenal it's definitely a 10/10 if it was hot! This place has potential to be a regular. I've had bigger sized waffles with more texture- that's what I'm comparing these waffles to. On a scale of one to five, I'd give them a four. Overall, the food looked good.
