One Star Is Too Generous - An Unforgivable Experience This was, without exaggeration, the worst experience I've ever had trying to get food delivered in my life. I placed a substantial order: a large pizza, two desserts, a calzone, cheesecake, fries, and a soda. What did I receive? Absolutely. Nothing. Not a crust, not a crumb--zero food. Let's be clear: this wasn't some unavoidable disaster. There's a bridge out on my street--a fact I told the restaurant when I ordered. I even explained it again to the driver on the phone. Other delivery drivers have no issue. Everyone else figures it out. It's not some cursed labyrinth--it's literally just a detour with directions I provided. Instead, their driver showed up at the completely wrong address. The bridge wasn't even the issue. He was already lost. To make matters worse, the driver didn't speak English--which is fine, except I had to step in and do their job for them. I called him, in Spanish, gave him clear instructions, and even walked to the closed bridge in the rain to meet him halfway. He never showed up. So now I'm standing in the middle of my neighborhood like a desperate pilgrim trying to retrieve a calzone that never existed. Meanwhile, the pizza place? They ghosted me. Stopped calling. No follow-up. No apology. Just radio silence. This place is a joke. A tragic, customer-service-abandoning, time-wasting, dinner-ruining joke. Unless you like playing hide-and-seek with your dinner, do not order from here. And the punchline? I had to make myself dinner. After all that, I stood in my kitchen and made my own damn food. Pathetic. Update: lol the manager offered that he could "maybe give me a coupon for NEXT time." Give me a break, Ha! I'm never going back. I told him he could eat the gross pizza that I only order because the good place (Angelo's) is closed. Do you self a favor and go somewhere that has good pizza, competent management, and delivery drivers who can find an address. read more

Good Afternoon, i usually am not a complainer, i keep my mouth shut, BUT, the food and service was horrible. i ordered a gyro which looked like a kit from you buy from the store, meat was burnt, pita bread fell apart and sauce was sour cream, my husband ordered a beef sandwich, the beef was plentiful but was cold and so was the juice. the waitress no personality at all or try to make things better, never came to see if we wanted anything else, also we were the only ones in there and had to wait for over five minutes for a menu or for anyone to approach us as they seen us walk in. i understand with covid prices have gone up, i dont mind paying the price if all is good, but what we paid we got so little. thank you for listening, Debby, snow57fire@yahoo.com. a response would be greatly appreciated. read more

Showed up after my daughter played a game. It was a solid visit. Waitress was friendly, portions were wow, not too shabby. If we are in town again, I would definitely choose this place. Bosco sticks for the boy, buttered noodles for the girl, Italian beef for me and a calzone for the hubby. See pictures for food and my children's faces. Fantastic Beefs. People already know they've been rated number one in McHenry Country. If you get Tommys you're lucky to get 2/3 The beef. The fries are delectable,, natural with skin on. The Onion rings are outrageous in flavor, but also in price. Overall, very very good. 4 1/2 star's. Notes: They bake their own bread and buns. :) read more

They don't know how to pack a bag for take-out meals they slap everything together and then make sure it's all out of the box at the time we order this supposed to be quality care it's a shame they used to do such a good job read more

I have never into life been treated as poorly as I just was. I am shocked to almost tears. Two of us walked in to sit down for dinner. I was told they were closing the dining room so we could not sit down. We asked if we could still order to take out and ordered a pizza to go. After that a group of three walked in and sat down and were given menus. Then an order of another table was taken. We arrived 45 min before the posted closing time of the dining room. I don't think I will ever visit this location again. read more

If you want to hear the best hits from 1986, visit Bravo. Every memory of my sixteenth year of life came flooding back! Sense memory, freaky stuff. Anyhoo, we stopped in this cute pizza+ restaurant when we were in the area. The staff is super friendly. The food was okay. We ordered mozzarella sticks, which came out almost alarmingly fast yet were good, and pizza (half cheese, half sausage). The pizza crust was very light although rather bland. Overall the flavor was, well, okay. They had both Coke and Pepsi. We didn't taste test, just had Cokes...and smiles. read more

I don't go here for the pizza, sorry. I go here for the Italian beefs and calzones. Nothing else. The calzones are the size of a football and the beefs are too. I mean really if you wanted to share, they both could be split but at this point who wants to share. And they have the best fries ever and you can add a cup o' cheese for pure bliss! I've only ordered carry out so I can't comment on the dining experience but the place is constant busy and they also deliver. read more

A decent pizza place. Nothing exceeds expectations but it also will not disappoint if you know what to expect. This is suburbs pizza through and through nothing compared to real Chicago pizza but the norm for the suburbs. Prices are fair. Food is ok. read more

Ask a Chicagoan what Chicago pizza is and you will likely not hear about the same kind you see on the Food network. That said, Bravo is not true Chicago pizza. Nor is that what they are attempting to do. I have grown to accept that there are other ways to make pizza. They make a great 'za. 4 stars here means that the ambiance is more diner than pizzeria. Love the pesto pizza, and the cannoli are on par with any Italian bakery. There are two other pizza joints in town, but I have not even looked at them since Bravo opened. (one is a Rosati's, so that is saying something). read more

Very expensive for subpar pizza. The cheesy garlic bread was good but the girl on the phone when I ordered seemed a little vapid.

Tried to order the xl pizza with the free medium and informed them my wife has a allergy and they said they couldn't do anything for us do to the sauce having cheese in it. We tried to substitute for marinara and they said we would be charged extra?!?! We are paying over 50 bucks for our order and they try to charge us more for something cheap as Hell?! Not an allergy friendly place and even spoke to the supervisor and they had an attitude over the phone and told them we will never do business with then ever again! read more

I ordered food from this restaurant for over a year and it was reasonably good. The owner is no longer on the premises and has moved to Texas. It is no longer affiliated with Bravo Restaurants in other towns close by and the quality of food has gone down hill. Nearly every item is merely taken from the freezer and cooked. The pizza is very difficult to discern from the box it comes in. Their sauce is obviously canned and they use a cheap mozzarella. The word flavor and proper use of spices are clearly not something the current staff recognizes. It has gone to bland with no use of oregano or any other flavor agent in the sauces. Sad to see yet another restaurant think that survival in a 'tight economy' means raising prices and lowering food quality. That is the way a banker runs a restaurant, not someone who has interest in serving good food. Service is always slow and staff spend more time texting and being on their cell phones than serving customers. read more

Bravo Pizza is one good go to for pizza in the area. Just order the large, thin crust, italian sausage to go, an you will have a great treat. Good food, good people, and good service make for a pizza place you can depend upon. read more

If you want bland, flavorless pizza, Then This is the place. The Rosatis reopened today and we couldnt be happier. All these pizza places here in Harvard are pathetic. Glad Rosatis Is opened. Now were only going to Bravos for there entrees. Which they do have an awesome Chick Parm. And there fresh bread is amazingly good. Just there pizza needs some saving. And alot of there other items on there menu are good just not the pizza. read more

Bravo has good Italian beef sandwiches, but that's about it. The pizza is really pretty bland. Is that just spaghetti sauce on there? I love spicy pizza with a lot of sauce. The sauce makes the pizza, sadly their sauce makes it bland. read more
