Skip the tiramisu - it's a dupe and no where near the real deal the ribeye is average at best these items were good: grilled octopus New York strip oysters Rockefeller Service was as good as she could do - but seems like for a party of 17 they should have had more than one server

I must start off this review by telling you we had the best lobster bisques we've ever had here. If we come back for anything it is that! Our friends rave about this restaurant and all though we enjoyed our meal we may not have ordered the right thing so we'll have to go back and give it another shot. The staff was friendly and the location was nice.

    Lasagna is quite good here.

Date of visit: May 20, 2025 Our friend has been a fan of Paisano's for many years, so we were really excited to give them a try, and outside of the service, it was a fantastic meal. Host staff was friendly and led us to a nice table up half a level up that had a nice view of much of the restaurant. The menu was large, with many options--but not too many where it was overwhelming. We had lots of time to look at the menu before we were served. Our waitress was all business--the only time she smiled is when she noticed that our friend had bleu cheese in his salad and he had asked for no bleu cheese... Thankfully the food more than made up for the service. My lobster bisque with puff pastry on top was excellent, even if it was a bit light on the lobster. My lasagna was also wonderful, hot and not lacking in cheese--as any good lasagna should be! My side pasta was a bit meh, but that was just a bonus so I wasn't too worried about it. I would definitely come again, just hope not to get seated in Comrade's section!

What a charming place. The atmosphere is comfortable and stylish. The food was awesome. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce, others had the Veal Marsala and Veal Parmesan with a wedge salad. The Clam Chowder soup was very tasty. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly. The service was great. I know we will go back again.

I found myself taking a road trip to god's country and mapped out a journey here, on my way home. I recently saw them highlighted by Mario Turano (the bread guy) and took his advice on getting the delicious chicken parm. I guess they also have it with a ribeye. Comes with potatoes or pasta, I went with the spaghetti and meat sauce. The bread is great and can easily fill you up, be careful. I was stuffed,.. but the sweet hostess brought me some of their house made gelato. I usually don't like salted caramel but it was delicious. Orange sherbet cleansed the palate. Wonderful waitress checking in frequently. Has a great feel on the inside of a northwoods lodge, in a historic building. (1846) They've swallowed up 3 other units next door and have al fresco dining too. I guess there's no set closing time, depending on patrons at the bar. Kitchen typically closes at 9pm.

We made a reservation for 4 people at 7 pm on a Friday. We made the reservation two days before. When we got to the restaurant it was very busy, but we were seated immediately due to our reservation. Our waitress came over right away and got our drink order. Our drinks took a bit to come out due it obviously being a Friday night. The waitress poured a little wine for my friend and I to taste and then poured us each a glass when we liked it. I ordered the filet - medium and I would say it came out medium rare but I didn't want to send it back so I just dealt with it. My husband got lobster bisque which was delicious BUT NOT FOR $17!!!!! That is outrageous to me. It came with a plume of bread on top which was a cool touch. The gnocchi was good with the vodka cream sauce. My friend ordered chicken parm and said it was yummy but she didn't like the pasta that came with it. My other friend ordered fettuccine Alfredo and said it was very good. Our bill was $230 for all four of us.

Paisano's is great! We've been here several times over the course of a decade and have enjoyed it every time. We've had a lot of their menu, most recently got the sausage rotini and it was incredible! The flavors were explosive and it even had a small kick to it which was a nice touch. My grandparents' favorite thing on the menu is the Broadway shrimp. Pro tip: the rigatoni is all homemade. Our servers were awesome and even suggested some fun tweaks to the menu (baked rigatoni with vodka sauce and sausage). They served fresh bread right up front with olive oil and cheese, and again, that was super delicious. The restaurant itself is themed like Italy and it provides an enjoyable ambiance. Everything is kept very clean. Our kids and whole family loved it. Excited to come back again!

There's made with fettuccine topped with a cream sauce made with honey Dijon and wine. It came with either a grilled or breaded chicken, and we both chose the grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection in season perfectly. Tender chicken breast meat, which was moist. The cream size was made to perfection and very tasty. You could actually taste the honey Dijon and wine in the cream sauce. Nice and thick and tasty. We also decided to try a bowl of their homemade chili. Mama T's does not hold back on the meat! There was plenty of ground beef in their chili with lots of beans and a sauce was thick and not runny like many places make it. It was seasoned spicy, but not over spiced. For me it was perfect. We also had the breaded mushrooms as an appetizer, and I will tell you that their breaded mushrooms are nice size and moist with a nice breaded coating over them deep-fried to perfection. I have these breaded mushrooms every time I eat there. Our waitress Suzanne recommended the specials to us and we are glad that she did. They are very good waitresses at Mama T's. Prices for the meals is comparable to going to places like Olive Garden and other Italian restaurants. Portion size are more than adequate and you'll definitely not leave hungry. The restaurant is very clean and very appealing to the eye.

Thankfully, we were seated right away. We were served water and a wonderful tray of bread and focaccia with marinara -- everything was delicious, especially the sauce. (OMG!) We explained to the waitress that we wanted to also order an entree to go, and asked for the best timing to do so. Our waitress remembered this and returned at the perfect time to take that order -- rigatoni with marinara and meatballs. We had a 30 mile trip home and the dish was still warm when we arrived! It did take a while for our food to arrive. We were a little concerned because we did not want to drive home in the dark. Our food was very good when it arrived -- the Chicken Vesuvio was amazing, and the leftovers are even better today. Our family member liked the Alfredo, but thought it was a little watery. We were too full for dessert, but carried out a tiramisu. This was also delicious. The dining areas are Italian styled supper club. We were seated to the left of the bar. It looked like the dining area to the right of the bar was a little nicer, but again, we did not have reservations. We were appreciative of the table we were given. Some updates are needed, but we were comfortable. The service was amazing. The host/hostess was friendly and welcoming. The waitress was terrific. The bus boys deserve a special mention -- they were back and forth with water multiple times, and one even offered additional bread to soak up the Alfredo sauce. They were humorous and kind and for being so young, they were very professional--said how much fun it was to work there. (They deserve some special kudos!) Overall, this was a wonderful stop. We'll be back and will try other dishes. We hear that the vodka sauce is also amazing.

I've lived near Richmond for a long time and have been ordering pizza here for over two decades…read more This location has seen transitions, and I remember well what stood here before: La Gustosa--an institution in every sense of the word. Let me be direct. The pizza at Rosati's is no worse than Domino's. That's not meant as a compliment--it's meant as a baseline. It's consistent, predictable, and serviceable if you need something quick. But it's not in the same league as what this space once represented. Not close. In a strange way, part of me is grateful La Gustosa is gone and Rosati's took its place--because if La Gustosa were still here, I'd probably be 20 pounds heavier. That place had gravity. Rosati's doesn't. I've ordered here more than half a dozen times hoping for a different outcome. Each time, the result has been the same: acceptable, forgettable, and entirely lacking in the kind of care, flavor, or identity that makes you want to come back. And that's really the point of this review. Richmond is wide open. There is a genuine, almost glaring opportunity here for someone with vision and execution to step in and build something exceptional. Not just better pizza--but a real Italian kitchen. Or a serious Szechuan or Chinese concept. Or sushi done with precision. Or a proper steakhouse. Or Latin, Greek, or barbecue executed with intent. The demand is here. The competition, frankly, is not. Rosati's isn't offensive. It's just... a placeholder. And in a market like this, placeholders don't last forever. To the right entrepreneur: this town is waiting
