Very disapointed. Went for fish fry sign outside says 13.95 however when i got the bill i was charges 38.00 for 2 fish dinner 3 pieces of fish handful fries. When you face the building at 131 N. Wells Street in Lake Geneva, be aware that more than half of it is a coin laundry. Mama Cimino's door is nearly hidden around the first corner to your right. The place is small, offering seating at six tables and places at the small bar. The ambiance is definitely Italian and Italian-American. The tables are set with red and white checked plastic tablecloths and individual paper maps of Italy. The restaurant is open Tuesday-Sunday 4 pm to 12 am, and does lots of take-out business. We arrived for an early dinner, and were met by a friendly older lady who suggested we sit anywhere we liked in the empty dining area. Mama Cimino's does have a liquor license, so my husband and I ordered Blue Moon beer and Pinot Noir wine, followed by Bruscetta and the Specialty Stuffed Chicago-style pizza that takes 45 minutes to make. The Bruscetta came on a dozen two-bite pieces of Italian bread (not like the slices from a big loaf) and was served cold, drizzled with balsamic vinegar. It was good and quite filling. My husband enjoyed his Blue Moon, but my wine had an ascerbic flavor that didn't bloom and wasn't friendly like the Australian and California wines I favor. The Specialty Stuffed Pizza appeared just at the 45 minutes promised. It was a delicate crust filled with mozzarella, parmesan, green bell pepper, olives, several kinds of meats, and a sauce that didn't fight with the other flavors. It also wasn't too sweet. I managed to eat one piece, my husband had two. Our server happily packed the leftovers into a box for us to take home, and asked with a laugh if we'd like dessert. My girlfriends and I recently visited Lake Geneva for my bachelorette party, and after going to a few bars on Main Street, we decided to walk over to Mama Cimino's for some late night food. I completely understand it's the holiday weekend and restaurants are slammed with take out orders. However, I have never experienced such rude customer service as I did at this joint. I ordered via their website $130 worth of food, received a confirmation via their website, an email noting my order is confirmed, and a text messages noting my order will be ready in 30-40 minutes. When I went to pick up order, the woman at the take out desk was sweet and welcoming as she asked the kitchen if they had my order. I could hear in the kitchen chirping there was no order under my name. That was my first sign something was wrong. I showed her my confirmations of my order then another woman came out, who honestly was one of the rudest, most insensitive, unapologetic people I've ever met. She said started out our interaction by claiming my order must not be under my own name and that I was wrong. I again showed my order confirmations, my name appearing on the email, and the order number. She disappeared into the kitchen asking the staff for my order. Nothing was found. Instead of telling me it was a mistake and that they do not have my order, I proceeded to wait with no answers. As I asked for details on what was going on, this woman proceeded to tell me online orders sometimes don't go through, which translates into "you are out of luck." Instead of apologizing immediately for the issue, the woman gave me a lecture on if I order online I should always call the restaurant to check. I was shocked by this response. I have never had to do that for any order from a restaurant before. My rebuttal was the restaurant should take the online portal down if it doesn't work. To matters more bizarre, she printed out my order proving it was received and recited it to me. I stopped her in her tracks and asked for an explanation of what is going on. She never fully acknowledged what happened, but she said she can work on my order now and try to get it to me in 30 minutes. No offer to deliver to me. What was I supposed to do? Sit there for another 30 minutes?! I asked for a refund and went home empty handed to my family. Again mistakes happen. I get it! But to make the customer feel like they did something wrong by using a restaurants platform is mind boggling to me. My complaint is I was sitting there at the restaurant with no explanation of what was going on, where my order was, if I had an order, or if I will get a refund. The woman who was working with me spoke to me like I was dirt on the ground. It was such a disappointing end to the holiday weekend. I've been coming up to Lake Geneva my entire life and never have experienced anything like this. My advice: order from Gino's or Rosatis. They can handle online orders. Don't go here unless you want to be taken for a ride. read more

We used them for catering for a party of 50. Oh my god it was reasonably priced and so delicious. We had abundant amount of food and everything went perfectly it arrived right at agreed time. The pizza was great as usual, and sausage rolls were an amazing hit. The surprise delight was the chicken parmesan wow not the beaten down patties you find most places but plumb breaded chicken breaded and seasoned perfect. You would be pleasantly surprised to dine at this quaint restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is worth the trip alone. My husband loves the sausage or pepperoni ball appetizers, he makes a meal out of it and there is still take homes. We have had a variety of dishes and every single one is delicious. Amazing food! First visit and had a phenomenal experience. Nick (the owner) was so personable, attentive and checked several times to make sure we were fully satisfied with everything. Cheese curds, fries, pizza, fettuccine alfredo, Caesar salad, and a house salad were all made to perfection. We stopped here after a concert at Alpine, because our Uber driver recommended it. Not only is this place open until 3am for dinner seating (stops serving food & alcohol at 2am), but their staff and service was outstanding. Melissa was our servicer and she was super kind, funny, and gave great recommendations. It is cash only but there's an ATM inside the restaurant. There is outside seating, even though we ate inside I can totally see myself coming back for a nice lunch break. I'll be honest, it did take a long time but right after I called, the delivery showed up. I think they might be using their own delivery drivers so you can't even track it.
