Not sure what has happened to this great pizza place in Delavan...the pizza "in the past" was always tasty and used quality products, However the last few pizza's we picked up there were very disappointing. The crust had very little taste and the overall pizza (sauce, sausage and mushrooms) did not taste fresh or properly cooked. Not sure if the kitchen staff has changed or they decided to buy lower quality products....will try them again but only one more time. read more

Ended up here by accident, had intended to visit one of two other local independents but they both have late opening hours. Leaving town, caught the sign here out of the corner of my eye and made a quick u turn in, walked in, ordered at the counter, giant pizza to go, sat down and waited, It didn't take long before I was on my way. My favorite combination is sausage and green olives, so that's my standard when visiting someplace new. This is a SUPERB pie, if you like thin crust tavern cut style pizzas. The sausage was hand-pulled flavorful chunks, seasoned olive slices, and copious amounts of cheese. Why is it Wisconsin pizzas cheese always seems better? Close to the source? Or am I being udderly foolish? Help was friendly, washrooms were clean, I'm guessing the employees were all family. It's a lengthy, ambitious menu, with pasta, dinner entrees, ribs, and more. Out back, I noticed they have a taco truck as well, which probably hits local events. It'd be quite a hike (50 miles) for me to add this to my regular rotation, but I'm seriously thinking about it. P.S. Pizza is about 25% cheaper than it is near my house in the big city. read more

Oh. My. Goodness. 10/10 food, amazing environment, top tier service. Visited while taking a weekend to Wisconsin, and it's my all time favorite Italian restaurant. Cheese Curds were incredible, heard several people say that the chicken Alfredo was amazing, and the pizza, my goodness gracious, the pizza. It was immaculate right off the bat, the pepperoni and sausage was an amazing combo, and I absolutely loved every bite. I'll be taking a trip up to Wisconsin just for this place. read more

I was passing through and starving. Yelped pizza nearby and everyone sent me here. The second I walked in, I could smell this was the place. More than just a mom and pop pizza joint in a small summer tourist town, this place seems to have the passion to please. Kindness greeted me as soon as I stepped up to the counter, and it followed me out the door in a warm box. Pizza here is thin crust. It's a little too thin for me, but I didn't mind at all. Sauce, pepperoni, and cheese all tasted fresh. And the prices are great considering what I am used to paying in L.A. In fact, both pizza and price were so good, we went back for seconds. I don't often do that with some random pizza joint. As I've written before, I try not to review pizza because everyone's taste is different. But if you are willing to support a small business, this one will NOT let you down. read more

So we finally decided to stop and try the award winning chili. This place will not disappoint. The chili is homemade. With very good taste not out of a can lol. The hamburger was a dinner burger. Good flavor and better then Fast food but just ok. And for the price. Fantastic. We did get the Italian beef. That was truly one of the best. The meat taste fresh and homemade. It was not something sitting in a jus all day. I got it with cheese so they then toast the cheese and made the bun nice and crusty. I will get peppers next time. The fries were fresh and good. We will be back when we are in town. Definitely worth the stop. Beef sandwich's and chili are so top notch. read more

Oof, this was a miss. Thin crust was ok, cheeses and sauce didn't have much flavor and the crust was decent thin, but not crispy texture. The pan pizza's propotions were all wrong, could have had half or 2/3 the amount of cheese and needed twice as much sauce. Crust had a good chewy texture with crustiness on the outside, but not much flavor. 1/2" of kinda bland cheese over next to no sauce and ok crust. Some reviews said this place was comparable to Chicago (thin crust) pizza; nowhere close. Hope this criticism is constructive read more

I have two main problems with Jo Jo's. even though I love their food! No.1 is that you cannot order online. I was without a phone, but could not order! No. 2 is that they put the pepperoni on the pizza after it is cooked - real pepperoni lovers want it cooked with the pizza! Otherwise, the food was great!! read more

I'm going to be constructive and positive: This is the 2nd time I've ordered here, and it was good. Looking at this from a 'Foodie' perspective - this place can be the 2nd best pizza in Walworth Co. with attention to two considerations. 1) The dough is pre-made and pulled from a ziplock (I watched it through the order window). It is fast and cheaper that way, but it's about 2mm thick (a few pages of paper) and doesn't rise up for that classic 'puffy' crust. An in-house dough would be AMAZING. 2) The sauce is under-represented and barely noticed... it's mostly cheese ( a good mix-blend plus a good added blend of seasonings on top), and the thin afore-mentioned crust. Easily able to be GREAT, or even the BEST pizza in the area. I hope they consider this feedback as encouragement. read more

I've been going to Jo Jo's since shortly after it opened long ago. I used to visit more often when I worked in Delavan but still make it over there - on purpose - once every few months. My wife loves the Calzones - they are huge and a super deal - she gets at least two meals out of one. I love the Italian Beef and various chicken dishes and although I'm not a big pizza eater - it looks great and it's hard to pass up as they have various varieties circling around in a hot display case by the checkout. As others have mentioned - this is locally owned and the fellow and his wife have been there every single time I've ever visited - so - you know the quality is going to be consistent - and consistently great at this place. I recommend the calzones from Jo Jo's. They are huge and definitely worth the price! They have single slices of pizza that are pre-made and great for hungry kids! The staff are welcoming and friendly as well. The ambiance also has a nice Italian vibe to it. I will be revisiting this hidden gem of a restaurant again! read more

We live in the pizza mecca of the world, Chicago, and Chicago has the best pizza on the planet, far far better even than other so-called pizza-cities like NYC (:-)), so when we ordered from JoJo's, we didn't expect much. Boy were we wrong! This is some fantastic pizza that could stand up to anywhere we've found. We've ordered from them 3 times, and each time, the pizza and apps were top-notch. Nice family owned restaurant in Delevan Inlet. Pizza always has fresh ingredients on it and is adequate. The crust is homemade and good and cooked perfectly. The size had just enough spice in it so I won't complain. I actually like pizza sauce with a tangy spicy flavor. Their sauce was good. Pricewise, I believe they're priced about right for what you get. I paid $20 for a veggie pizza. Employees there are always friendly and eager to help you. I get food to go so I cannot honestly make a comment on the cleanliness of the restaurant however it appeared to be clean when I was in there picking up my pizza. read more

I was at a friends and they ordered food for the big Packers Bears game. I have never had food from JoJos. It was really good!!! We had everything from appetizers to beef sandwiches to stuffed pizza and strawberry cheesecake. Everything was great. I haven't had a good stuffed pizza since I lived in Chicago. Grew up in Delavan, but never had gone to Jojo's. Back visiting family and had to try it. We decided to get it to go because we were staying at nearby Lake Lawn Resort. We got mozzarella sticks, Italian Beef sandwich and a 16" Garbage Pizza. Everything was excellent!!! And you cannot beat the prices! The only bad thing was I wanted to try some of their award winning chili, but they were all out. I will have to go back for that another time. read more

I ordered their homemade lasagna for delivery and it was horrible. The bag was drenched in grease. I figured well maybe some sauce spilt. I opened the very messy/greasy container and the lasagna sauce was oily too. I ate the cheese off the top and pitched it. The garlic bread was good and so was the carrot cake. Very kind delivery guy. Without question the best pizza in the area. I have been a fan for over 8 years & the food is consistently fantastic. The thin crust is similar to what you would find in Chicago, without having to leave beautiful Wisconsin. Call well ahead of time with your order, as they do tend to get super busy. I have in the distant past called to receive only a busy signal (this may have been resolved). Superbly well run, small family business that takes a lot of pride in their endeavor & it shows. Friendly small town service, this sort of thin crisp crust American style pizza is best eaten fresh hot so call it in and pick it up or eat here. GPS directs you to the back way, which is a short run on a bumpy pot-hole ridden dirt road instead of just pulling in the front. It's not that obvious your first time in the dark. Although I haven't spent a lot of time around here, I get the feeling this is your best choice in town. read more

We like JoJo's thin crust pizza. The vege one is a fave, loaded with mushrooms, peppers, onion, and fresh tomato, but the crust is sturdy enough to hold them all. We recently ordered on a snowy evening and were delighted with how fast our order arrived. The spicy wings are also very good. read more

Beyond excellent service!!! Food was delicious. It's been a long time that I have had such friendly service. The staff was so kind to my rambunctious six year old; they even showed him how to make pizza from scratch. We ordered baked Mostaccioli, stuffed pizza, and cheese cakes. Everything tasted great.
