The checking in process was easy and quick. The staff was friendly, however the property was a complete NIGHTMARE including the room we stayed in which was room 110. We had reservations to stay for 3 nights but checked out a night earlier since there was way too much suspicious activity happening around us. First off, our room was dirty. There was blood stains on our bed, including hypodermic blood squirted on the walls and light area of the bathroom from someone probably previously doing heroin in our room. The room has a door for a conjoined room next door and you can see the hotel staff stuck the refrigerator and microwave shelf to block the door which didn't work anyways because the next morning someone opened the door up which was totally creepy! On top of that, all night there were men walking the parking lot on their phones seemed as though they were drug dealing. This place was definitely not a good spot to stay for vacation, and totally had me and my fiancé uneasy. Thank god we checked out a night earlier. Shit. One yelper mentioned something about a chair, and disgusting stains, and so on and so forth and then I looked to see what room she was in.... And it's the one I'm in now. Front desk workers can be a bit sassy... I'm trying to determine whether they're being 'professional, emotionless business ladies' or just total bitches. They're actually really helpful and can be friendly, there's just a touch of coldness. I looked at some of the other options in this town and lo, this is your best option. Minus one star for the smell! There was a weird mildew scent the second we walked in, my boyfriend actually gagged. It got better as the weekend went on but it was always lingering. Of course this is Brawley my hometown and they are definitely on a different schedule and a slower pace. They made a mistake and charged us immediately for the entire two nights and after I complained they corrected the mistake and gave me a $10 discount for each night so I'll give them four stars. There were some very loud drunk men fighting during the day but I didn't hear them at night. We came in so late from my class reunion I didn't notice. I recently found myself here, at the prestigious Brawley Inn, when our production company decided to have a shoot out on the Glamis sand dunes. Reviews I read prior to my arrival had me prepared for the worst - I brought my own sheets and pillow - but, you know what, my stay here was not at all the miserable experience I had expected. In fact, other than a few notable knocks this wasn't half bad at all. Look, you're staying in Brawley. Don't expect to find much more than decent accommodations. There are something like three hotels in this entire town, and I'd be willing to bet they're all more or less comparable. Check in here was a breeze, no hassle. All of their rooms have fun names, mostly animals, though I got stuck in "mimosa" which is admittedly kinda lame. The room perfectly suited my needs, which were extremely minimal. Everything appeared clean, dust-free, and much more modern than I'd been led to expect. Furnishings were outdated as compared to hotels in LA or OC, but for Brawley? Not bad. Not bad at all. I was amazed to find a flat-screen TV, too, not that I planned to use it much. Wi-fi requires a password. That's it. No weird log-in screens or hoops to jump through. That was nice. They have a spa and a heated pool, both of which I used. The spa could have been a bit cleaner, but it wasn't exactly brimming with leaves and dirt or anything. Pro: free breakfast. Con: most of it is bad. I wanted to love this free meal, because I'll eat almost anything, but powdered eggs I cannot do. At all. They're weird and cubed and full of holes, looking like some Picasso interpretation of what scrambled eggs should be. The best part of the breakfast was the waffles, which are done by this company called "Golden Waffle" and set up in such a way that it's entirely idiot proof. You pour the batter in a cup to the fill line, pour it in the waffle maker, flip it over, wait for the timer to hit zero and - voila - you have a waffle. I never had my room made up by the staff because I prefer to be left alone entirely until my stay has ended. If you have to stay somewhere in town. and you aren't some picky jackass with a laundry list of needs and wants from a hotel outside of simply providing the basics, then I'd say this place does the job. read more

The price is $89.00 a night but I think they work with you. My children's father got a room here today July 04, 2020 in room 208 and they only charged him $60.00. I stayed here about 4 years ago and the service was awesome. They had great good breakfast, swimming pool, jacuzzi and a gym. The rooms were nice and clean when I stayed there. I was referred to Brawley Inn by a colleague who visits this area much more frequently than I do. Although the purpose of my trip was not for leisure, I thoroughly enjoyed my week long stay at Brawley Inn. I was also blown away by the service, accommodation and friendly attention I received from its management and staff: The front desk always attended to my needs promptly and the manager even called me on the phone to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my inquiries. For an extremely competitive rate, the room I stayed in was very comfortable and included features such as refrigerator/microwave oven and other must have amenities. Additionally, the surrounding area was pleasantly quiet and not noisy like many other hotels I've visited. Best of all, breakfast at Brawley Inn is more than satisfying, as fresh eggs/bacon are always available with an abundance of other drink/food. There is also a good restaurant located conveniently just steps away from the hotel lobby. As an extremely satisfied customer, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great and favorably priced hotel that truly cares about its guests. read more

Was in town for my uncles funeral. Check in was easy and the lady at the front desk and professional and friendly. I was very pleased. Got to my room and struggled a but to open the door but figured I just wasn't using the key card correctly. When we came back at 10:30 pm after the funeral we could not get into our room. Our key card wouldn't work. Called front desk. The brought another card and their master key. Nothing. No budging the door open. The ladies at the front desk couldnt find the master key to open the door the old fashion way. They couldn't get maintenance to answer their calls. Finally what seem d like 30 min later because it was cold outside, but was probably only 15min later we got in. But can't have a key because well the lock doesn't work. We get in bed and the toilet starts running. No jiggling of the lever made it stop. I figured I could turn it off at the shut off valve but at this point Im afraid the damn thing might break. So we end up hearing the toilet run all night, the head board on one bed was loose so every movement of the bed made it knock. Needless to say it was a sleepless night for me. I didn't expect a five star hotel but at minimum I expect to have a room key to come and go as I please and a toilet that works. Oh and did I mention that my mother who is eldery and 5' 2" had to request a stool to get on the bed. When I checked out this morning I found out another guests was also locked out of their Pro: the ladies with the exception of the Lupita who could've been a bit apologetic of our issues but i stead barely even looked at me, were super friendly and professional. The room was clean. The coffee was great and the waffles were good. Cons: bed are way too high for an average size person to get on and off of it(Im 5' 5"). The toilets need work and their door locks need work. Update: I received a phone call today from the operations manager Jose. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! I believe in great customer service and this act definitely has won me over. I will definitely give them another try. I am a traveling nurse who came to Brawley to help with the covid crisis. After staying at a few other hotels I ended up at the Brawley Inn. For the 1st few weeks everything was going good. The night desk clerk Sean was awesome. He was helpful and avaliable any time I needed. Fast forward about 4 weeks into my stay. Since I live about 2 and a half hours away I would travel home on my days off. I made sure to reserve my room 1 to 2 weeks in advance becuase they book up quickly. I called and reserved my room for the next 2 weeks requesting to be place in building 3 since I am a female traveling alone and dont feel safe being placed in the back building. The reservations were approved and I was guaranteed a room in building 3 (the same building I have been staying in this entire time). When I went to check in they had placed me in the back building. I explained to the desk clerk Elizabeth that I was guaranteed a room in building 3 and she told me there were no rooms avaliable. I had a friend staying at the same hotel and since they did not have my requested room I decided I would just room with her. I informed Elizabeth that I wanted to cancel my reservations for this week due to my requested room not being avaliable. She informed me that since it was less than 24 hours notice I was not able to cancel. She contacted the manager and got the cancelations approved since THEY messed up my original reservations of the guaranteed room request. She then informed me that they would no longer be able to offer me the traveler nurse discount if I made any further reservations but since I had the following week reserved I would be able to keep that reservation and they would be able to honor the nurse rate for that stay. Fast forward to this week. I get if work at 11pm and go to check into my room. Upon arrival Sean told me there was no reservations under my name but they had a room for 1 night avaliable ( I needed 2 nights). Sean attempted to reserve the room for me and stated he was unable to because they flagged my name red and he was unable to override it. So here I am a female traveling alone in an unknown city at 11pm with no place to stay because the Brawley Inn manager Abraham decided to cancel my reservations with no notification and flag my name so I would not be able to rent a room. To say I'm pissed is a complete understatement!! If I ever return to this dusty ass city (which I don't plan) I will for sure be taking my business elsewhere. read more

If you decide to stay here, start by managing your expectations. The reservation system was a headache and when I attempted to confirm through the 800 number their website directs you to it was a fiasco. I didn't have my confirmation number and they couldn't find it under my name. Really?? Its 2015! They ended up referring me directly to the hotel. Eventually they found it but they screwed up my rate at check in, which I still have to clear up with them since I'm part of a wedding group. The room? On par with an average Comfort Inn. Beds were comfortable, not all the lights worked, bathroom had some mold and busted tiles. when I see those signs, I feel ripped off after dishing out a hundy for the room. We stayed here because we were attending a wedding and this was the only descent hotel around the area. I was pleasently surprised that the rooms seemed nicer then i was thinking they would based on the surrounding area. I checked the beds and NO BED BUGS. I was really happy about this. The door to our room was extrely hard to open. In fact a few othervv people had this problem too. The pillows were really comfortable but the bed its self left both my husband and my self waking up several times because it was hurting our backs. The room seemed older and in need of cosmetic repairs. Over all not an awful hotel to stay in but not my favorite. read more

Amazing hotel, a genuine diamond in the rough. Friendly, efficient staff. Although it had been over a year between stays, the staff recognized my wife and me and greeted us by name. Not only that, if a staff member saw my wife carrying packages, they would immediately carry them for her. That's service! The rooms are well laid out with comfortable beds and high quality furniture - no press board here! Rooms are available with up to a full kitchen. The motel is located within easy walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. the motel is very clean. Anything wrong with your room will be attended to as soon as you bring it to their attention. If all you want is a cooky cutter room, any motel will do. If you want to stay where you're treated like a valued friend and not just another "guest" The Brawley Inn is the place to stay. Me and my family are always traveling and we were in Brawley visiting some family and decided to stay here. Well to make a long story short when we went to our room the restroom was not working we called the front desk (thinking they were gonna come fix it or give us another room, like any other great hotel would do) this is the responce we got "well we have a plunger, so you can come get it" not even offering to deliver it and worst saying they werent gonna fix it. So i had to walk all the way to the lobby and get a plunger to unclogg a restroom that we had never even used. The least they could of done was deliver the dam plunger, were paying to stay at a hotel to have service, not fix something that is the hotel's responcibility. We didnt even get an apology we had to call the next day to talk to the manager to let them know what had happened, we still didnt get an apology and the most they could do for that incident is give us 10$ back... I was like "dont even bother with giving us back these 10 miserable dollars were just never gonna stay here again" So yea really bad service, bad continental breakfast + the area its in (the lobby), and it smells horrible. I haven't even stayed here yet and I'm writing a bad review. We booked up here for dove hunting opening 2 days. Part of the reason we booked was because they had a complementary breakfast. Hunters like to get started with a good breakfast so they can get out early before the sun comes up. When I called a week before to find out what they were having for breakfast, they said during opening week of dove season, they were not serving breakfast due to health concerns and the amount of hunters staying at their hotel. When I called the other motels, they said they were giving their guests to go breakfasts in a bag. Why they can do that and Brawley Inn can't, I don't know, but i'm looking for alternative accommodations now so I can cancel my reservations and my hunting buddies are also who are booked there also. This is very bad service and a lot of hunters are going to be very angry when they find out on opening day, there is no breakfast. read more

I am only staying because it is close to my workand i work many hours. first the AC went out, twice...and its hot here this time of year..Now the Wifi has not worked for 4 days and when i call the front desk, they tell me it IS working. i know it is not. The best reason to stay at the brawley inn is the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. I was working nights and sleeping during the days. They had the maids clean my room first thing in the morning. That was so nice. I needed to change rooms later in my stay, and the desk staff were so helpful with it. The first room was perfect- clean and big. The second room had seen better days. The included breakfast was not the greatest. It was a little pricey to stay there, but the quality of the staff made all the difference. read more

I stayed at the brawley inn for 2 months with work. The room I had was clean and fresh. One thing I liked was the manager had breakfast ready for us early because of our schedule. Was a good hot breakfast switched up everyday. Eggs sausage bacon biscuits and gravy. I would recommend staying here. The office and staff are nice. I live in Brawley and am well aware of the amenities and reputation of the Brawley Inn, so when I had family coming in from out of town I made sure they stayed at this first rate facility. My family had a great three night stay and had nothing but good things to say about the hotel, its' staff and amenities. They were especially pleased with the quality WiFi and the on grounds restaurant, Assagios, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a full bar and lounge. This looked like the nicest place to stay in Brawley. Customer service was great. When we first arrived for work she couldn't find our reservation but then was able to and we got our room. We were upstairs near the pool. Room 239. The outside of the hotel looked dated. Our keycard let us into our hallway and into our room, so we felt safe. The inside of our room was large and clean. We had a king size bed and a pull out couch. There was also a large refrigerator and a microwave and coffee pot. The only negative was our bathtub had a hole that they had tried to cover but it wasnt secured so we couldn't take a bath.. we had to take a shower.. and the water pressure was horrible and either hot or lukewarm, no in between. Also walls are pretty thin so could hear conversation nextdoor, but the people near us were relatively quiet. I will probably never be in Brawley again, but if we were, I would stay here again. Each morning they served a slightly different complimentary breakfast. Our first day had sausage, second day bacon, third day sausage and gravy. Every day they had a waffle maker, biscuits, scrambled eggs, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, juice, etc. They also have a pool and spa, but we never used it. I had low expectations for a motel in the middle of nowhere and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were comfy and clean with nice amenities considering the low room price. Plenty of parking, easy walk to restaurants. Breakfast was a only small step up from continental, but given the price/location, I was only expecting a continental. Yes, the room is upgraded and has a modern look to it, but I am not a fan of bugs this room had crickets everywhere from the bed, bathroom behind the TV and dressers. I was utterly DISGUSTED. The Hotel room itself is fine, the rooms are pretty upgraded with a mounted flat screen t.v., it has a refrigerator and microwave and its located in a local area where you can find places to eat within a mile.. So the negative: first, the noise of everything around you will keep you up. Our room had a door that connected to a room next to us which of course was locked, but we could here their TV more than we could here our own. The bed had a light weight comforter which I always take off in any room I stay in, but the bed had no extra covers just sheets which is ok in the summer, but its Jan and a little chilly, thankfully I had an extra blanket I brought from home. The breakfast is free so don't expect much, you can expect boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, weak coffee, bagels, and fruit and instant oatmeal. The staff werent overly friendly like you would expect most hotel staff to be. The noise is my biggest complaint of all I heard everything from cleaning ladies to a guy throwing up right outside our window. read more

Best hotel in Brawley - location is at north end of town. Close to good restaurant (high end coffee shop food), hotel is clean, staff is polite and helpful if a bit slow. Breakfast was adequate although very crowded office makes it difficult to maneuver around other guests. Room was spacious and clean - wifi was difficult to hookup - due to requirements of server to allow popups. would definitely stay here again. read more
