My scratched up, non working, one day old $8000 Wolf Stove from Bray and Scarff.

Absolutely horrendous experience with Bray and Scarff. I bought a new Wolf 30" Dual Fuel stove around Thanksgiving. Installation was yesterday 12-19. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. The installation team from Bray and Scarff was not the specialized Wolf team promised. No electrician was sent to make electrical changes (even though I paid for an electrician in the installation quote). The brand new stainless steel stove was severely scratched in the installation attempt. Bottom line: my brand new $8000 stove does not work. At all. Plus, I was charged $900 for a completely botched installation. I've contacted the sales team at Bray and Scarff and they basically tell me they can't help -- Wolf has to look at it and assess the problem. Nevermind that the installers scratched the stove so badly they should give me a new one anyway. Customer Service at Bray and Scarff have washed their hands of this, they do not return my calls-- and the store manager in Columbia asked me to have some empathy for HIM! I'll be cancelling my Christmas parties and dinner. DO NOT TRUST BRAY and SCARFF. They used to be great. Not now.

Danillo and his helper did a fantastic job in removing and installing our new Fisher & Paykel refrigerator. They were on time and very neat. The installation of the water filter in the cabinet looks great. One happy customer.

The staff and their team were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The senior design consultant and manger, Brian was very professional , his recommendations were great, and extremely thoughtful. The production manger Angel, was absolutely fantastic and patient, always answering my calls promptly and attentive throughout the process. The stone company and their team were also outstanding. They told me the project would be completed in three weeks, and it was finished in less than three weeks. I highly recommend them to my friends and family. Fantastic job VKB Kitchen & Bath Team! I would strongly discourage anyone from using VKB Kitchens & Bath…read more A few years ago, this company was hired through a third party to renovate my fireplace at the request of the previous owner. Last year, that fireplace was determined to be the cause of a devastating house fire that displaced my family. Following a thorough investigation, we were informed that the fire resulted from the fireplace being improperly installed. We also learned that the renovation was completed without the required Howard County permit. Had the proper permit been obtained, county inspections could have identified the installation issues before the project was completed. As a result, our home suffered extensive damage and is expected to take approximately 12 months to rebuild. Beyond the financial impact, this experience has taken an enormous physical and emotional toll on my family. Despite everything we've endured, we have not received any acknowledgment of responsibility from VKB Kitchens & Bath and they were informed last November (2025) that they were responsible for my house fire. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you're considering a home renovation, I encourage you to carefully research your contractor, verify that all required permits will be obtained, and make sure the work will be properly inspected. A renovation should improve your home, not put your family's safety at risk or turn your life upside down for years.

HORRIFYING experience with this place. Ended up reporting them to the BBB, State of Maryland and…read moreothers. I grew up with my Dad being a GC, this experience.....unreal. It was a bathroom gut and remodel, same footprint, no real changes. I would have used my Dad, but he's getting on in age now. Just a few of the 1000s of issues I had: - Stored the demo ON MY DECK, ruining the deck while charging me for a removal dumpster. - The final tub shower never had the drain plug attached (behind the wall) so baths couldn't be taken. - Mis-drilled holes in brand new tile, covered up to place glass doors. - Finishing work was HORRIFIC, Helen Keller could have done better. Huge globs of caulk, thick seams where there should be none. - Job took over 2+ weeks, putting me, my kids and dogs into a hotel. - Floor tile set uneven and grout work never cured. - Upon initial demo, never capped off the sink drain, shooting water across my floor when I came home. A certified plumber would have NEVER done that. - I had to make runs to Home Depot for the proper parts FOR THE WORKERS. I have TONS of photos and if I can, I will attach to this review. DO yourself a favor - DO NOT USE THEM. Absolutely the WORST experience of my life. My google review from that time, DOES have photos

We needed to flip the shower and tub area in order to have enough space for an ADA compliant rolling shower. Bath Boutique accomplished the remodel with class and style. Their father and daughter team did absolutely beautiful work. They use top quality materials and it shows in their work. Reggie, the owner and his management staff have a very hands on approach making sure everything is taken of. We also added work to the contract for a new kitchen countertop, sink, faucet, and backsplash. We love sitting in the kitchen now. It is so cheerful. Thank you

TL;DR - Don't trust the sales person on delivery dates. Ensure that you thoroughly check your…read moreappliances before you accept them. Know your right to to refuse appliances that do NOT work (do not let them install it, you accept a broken/non-working product and then send a tech to fix it). And, prepare to spend a LOT of time dealing with them if there are any hassles. My washer went out, and I needed a replacement urgently. I came into their showroom and spoke with one of their sales team. He strongly pushed me toward two options, an Electrolux 517 or an Electrolux 617 both for the same price. I, of course, chose the 617 (the Electrolux 617 online gets great reviews, the 517 not quite as much). I was told by the sales guy that they'd be delivered on the following Tuesday, early Wednesday at the absolute latest. I paid for it, and waited to hear from the delivery people. The next day, I was told that the delivery would be on Friday, not Tuesday (3 days later). Ugh. The clothes are piling up. So, the delivery day rolls around, and they show up to deliver the unit. When it's installed, it 100% does not work. It lights up, but doesn't take water, and the door locks and won't open. They tell me to hang out and wait for the service team to come and look at the unit. I say that's not acceptable. I call the sales person, and while I'm talking with them, the service people leave, leaving the unit behind. So, in talking with folks (sales and service are "different divisions" and seem to use that as an excuse for why things can't get done), I finally get them to understand that I'm not going to wait several days for a service tech to come out and repair a BRAND NEW unit. They agree to pick it up and work on some options for me. After several hours, I reach back out to them to see what they plan to do. Note that they told me if we get a solution today, it could be delivered tomorrow. IF not, then it will be 5 days before they can deliver it. So, obviously, it's URGENT that I get something selected. They close at 6pm. At 5pm I call, and they offer me the "lower version" of the same product ("517") for the same price as I paid for the 617. Or, they said I could get the 627 (the newer unit) for $100 more, as they didn't have any more of the 617. After a LOT of hassle, they said they could do the 627 for the same price as the 617 they sold me. BUT, they have to verify the warranty (which makes no sense to me. If it's a new unit, why do they need to verify the warranty?). The next day, they finally delivered a working dishwasher. But, there was tooo much hassle and headache. Appliances a better way? Hrm... As a last note, my next door neighbor's washer went out about 2 weeks ago as well. They purchased from this same place. Their first unit was DOA as well. So, be SUPER careful. Make sure you get a solid test wash, and that things are working.
