We came for the rodizio and THAT was fantastic. Honestly this is one of the best rodozios around here. The issue we find we have is that no one has both good meat, with a good selection, and good sides. This restaurant does. The meat selection was great. Varied and all cooked well. There was a nice selection of side and all were good. The soup was delicious. The sauces are all good. While I don't like to knock free extras brought to the table, the complimentary little fried blobs truthfully were terrible. Inedibly terrible. They had the worst texture. Like rubber. Honestly. And they had zero taste. I can't even tell you what they were. Such a waste of food they were. The empanadas were also meh. They sat too long and they were not the least bit crunchy. I want to start by saying this was my second time here and was disappointed in my second time here. When you first walk in you are seated by the host and not given any menu unless you ask for it. It's almost expected to get the rodizio which was initially a little confusing. I will say the waiters were helpful and quick with getting drinks and plates out of the way, really nice people and demeanor! The hot buffet was also really good but thats not what you go to a rodizio for. - The meat we were getting tasted good, but my issue was with the organization of it all. It started with the sausage and we would get 2-3 cuts of meat and then they kept repeating the same 3. We saw other tables getting different cuts but never stopped at our table. Different meat waiters kept coming around and skipped us even when we waved them on... i guess it was specific per table? Now if i hadn't ordered a menu at the beginning (which they took away but i had a picture) there was 5-6 meats which were never brought out and we never saw even go to other tables. Example- the skirt steak, which is one of the best was never brought out ... until the end when we were almost full and pointed it out. They did bring it out and the waiter was cool about it, but i think there is some higher management trying to cheap out on the rodizio... and prices have gone up over the years here. Braziero is our favorite date night place. Very affordable price for Brazilian BBQ (which is all-you-can-eat meats that they bring to the table). The staff is wonderful, kind and you sense they like working there. You get a very nice ambiance and a great quality of meat, that is equivalent to Fogo De Chao but half the price, and it's local! If you've never done a Brazilian steak rodizio it's a very wonderful experience. They have a wonderful salad bar as part of the rodizio. Excellent place for fun evenings, and casual, professional, or family outings. Decided to drive from NYC and give this place a try after hearing about the All-You-Can-Eat $35 (pre-tax) deal. Drinks and desserts are not included in that price. The overall experience was a bit underwhelming but a good amount of meat options for $35. The salad bar however was disappointing. Not many options and very average food. The meat options were also the same. Quite average. There was maybe only two meat options that were good in my option. Rest were average. The best part of the meal was the Brazilian cheesy bread and the mango caipirinhas. The two best things we had at the place! Service was average and seating felt a bit cramped. Location was also not the best, but was convenient having a car to get around the neighborhood. Parking was also hectic. The Parking meter in that area only accepts quarters which was annoying. Luckily there was a smoke shop near by where we were able to get change. Overall, if you are on a budget this might be a good option for you but I've had way better Brazilian All-You-Can-Eat in NYC. Although most will cost around $60/70 per person, it's worth paying the extra money for better quality meat and sides! read more

Brazeiro Churrascaria is amazing! This restaurant has been near my job for awhile now, but I've never stopped in. I finally had the chance to stop in yesterday with the ladies from work at lunch. We all got the lunch special, it was only $8.90. AMAZING!!! I got the steak and chicken. The lunch special comes with chicken soup, and 2 additional sides of your choice. I selected the white rice and black beans, but there were a lot of options such as, yellow rice, salad, fried bananas, yuca fries, and a few other. Portion size was very large, definitely enough for more then one meal. We all loved our food. I will definitely be stopping by again in the near future. So happy it's in the neighborhood! read more

The price was reasonable for what you get, I tried a decent amount of cuts and they were all flavorful and juicy! The salad bar was smaller than I expected but overall has some nice selections. Also everyone over 7 is the same price...fogo de Chao is half price 7-12. My 9 year old ate mostly onion rings and sausage. Our mistake for choosing rodizio for him. Basically although Fogo is 70 for adults, with the half price for kids it turned out to be exactly the same and Fogo has a far superior salad bar/buffet. We did the all you can eat here and it was so good. The mini buffet had some good eats of fried yucca, croquets and plantains to name a few. The meats that came out with the all you can eat were delicious. I like that they come around and give you fresh cuts instead of having it out in the buffet section. And they keep coming around with the meats until you tell them to stop. It ends with some delicious pineapple. We even got some complimentary port wine. The staff were super friendly and attentive. This is a quaint rodizio restaurant. They have another location, but we've only been to this one. This restaurant is smaller than what you would typically visit for rodizio. They have a small salad bar that has most of the foods you would expect. They also have a full bar, but you cannot actually sit and wait at the bar when they're busy lol. Quality of the meat is great. I've noticed all rodizio places you have to special request the beef ribs. These are always excellent--super rich and flavorful. This is a quaint rodizio restaurant that doesnt take reservations. We went on a Saturday evening around 7pm and were told it would be a 30-45min wait. They have a bar/drinks but no accompanying seating area so we went for a drink at a bar 1/2 block down. W were called in ~15 -20 minutes. Most of the sides for the rodizio were healthy and not carb-filled which I really appreciated: sliced beets, pickled vegetables, boiled broccoli, grape tomatoes, boiled eggs, hearts of palm, rice, beans, pasta salad, mushroom&celery salad, garbanzo salad, cole slaw, sweet plantain (not at all oily like places usu have) and yucca sticks. This rodizio does not include any lamb. When being seated, we asked about having meat fully cooked/well done and were told this could be done. Throughout the rodizio when we asked the servers if we they could return with some meat well done for one person in our party, two of them told us that the maximum they cook meat to is medium well. We told them that we asked before ordering and were told it could be done and that other rodizio's accommodate by bringing out a separate piece of the meats well cooked as we dont expect them to cook the full skewer well-done. This was the most unpleasant part about the night as the attitude of the two servers that said that (one very young, the other approaching middle age) was in a tone that was unaccommodating/not-understanding and matter of factly. Are they to tell me that if I were visibly pregnant they would still insist I eat meat not fully cooked? This was disappointing, especially coming from a smaller establishment- I have never been told this, even at another well known and large rodizio we just attended last week. One server (I did not catch his name but he was young, caramel-skinned, and Spanish-speaking) on the other hand, was very understanding and always asked if the meat was cooked enough and assured he returned with at least a little piece better cooked- for which we tipped him accordingly. The salt content was surprisingly low compared to most places. Every meat was outstanding but the picanha and hangar steaks were to die for. The service was GREAT! When most rodizio near NYC have expanded and became almost soulless, this place was fantastic. It was smaller than most, maybe a bit tight, but felt cozy and welcoming. Maybe it's my own sense of nostalgia for restaurants that still feel family own and operated, but our family dinner did feel as if we were eating at a friend's house rather than restaurant run for the sole purpose of making money. The salad bar was smaller than at other bigger rodizios, but it had enough sides to satisfy. The meats were plenty and the variety enough to keep everyone happy. I have been visiting Brazeiro Churrascaria for quite a while now. They have excellent service, and they have good food. But unfortunately, I feel Brazeiro have priced itself out of their market. Price increases can be understandable due to inflation, but their increases are beyond the inflation rates. So while previously, I didn't have to drive out of my neighborhood to have a decent Churrascaria experience, suddenly I find myself asking: "Why wont I drive out of my neighborhood for a Rodizio when my local restaurant is more expensive than the fancier options?" Like let's say Fogo de Chao. Yes, a dinner for two at Brazeiro suddenly costs significantly more than driving to Fogo de Chao at Paramus. And let's be honest, Brazeiro might have the same quality service as Fogo de Chao, but they don't have the ambiance, the environment, and accommodations. And when the drinks, food options, and even the Rodizio are expensier at Braseiro, they should justify those increases beyond good service....and I'm sorry to say it, but they don't. So yes, you can still visit Brazeiro, but you are no longer getting a reasonable price for your experience. read more
