I'm just getting home now after leaving Erica's Studio I had a great experience!! she is a very nice woman, I feel some of the negative reviews here are taken by people who have a closed mind on what respect is. If you want to be pampered it's a price to pay to deserve luxury. but let's be realistic we need affordable prices today living in LA or the South Bay Area. I can recognize she is a woman of business so I'd think if she has a studio in the back of her house, she uses to make her living, of course she needs to be available for all of her responsibilities but I really appreciate her help. she's very knowledgeable on life love happiness and an extreme expert on waxing the armpit that was the first time I've ever had my armpit waxed she walked me through it, and calmed my nerves down just by talking to me and asking me about myself . I think she's a very lovely woman and she deserves all of her credit. The waxing itself took 10 to 15 minutes. it's great who wants to go to a place and sit forever waiting with slow service in a hot room. I've been coming to Erika for over two years now. My first time I went with a friend and it was the first time I ever gotten a Brazilian. The experience was great! She walked us over everything and it was *almost* painless ;D I've made an effort to recruit another friend to go for her first time and we all have been loyal customers ever since! Her studio is a cute little shack-like building behind another house. No biggie, support your entrepreneurs! The pricing is good and making appointments has been easier since you can do it online now but it's also harder because Erika has gotten quite popular now! Follow the reviews and do not pass this place up! Ericka is a master at Brazilian waxing, I'm sure it helps that she's actually Brazilian and makes her own homemade honey wax. I was a hot mess before and she did her miracle work and I'm now as smooth as can be! Omg best place in LA to go for waxing. She is very professional and it's very private. I had a bad experience prior at another place and she totally put me at ease. She will talk you through everything if you are new to waxing so you feel comfortable. She is very fast and accurate. No re-waxing of the same spot-- i hate that !! The only reason I didn't come back to her is because I broke my foot shortly after and can't drive. But soon as it heals I'll be back. Since I can't make it to her I do not go anywhere else. Choose which area you desire to get waxed and pick a time. You even get text msg reminders! It's best to book earlier in the day for parking, considering that the wax setting is at her home. First and foremost, Erika is amazing. She uses a natural honey that she makes and portions out per client. Her studio is located in the "backyard" of the front house, so don't knock at the front door, follow the brick walkway to her studio. She is so amazing, sweet, and awesome! Before you get started, when you're laying on the table, she will wash your area, baby powder, and then the honey and a cloth to follow. My appointment was at 1:30pm and I strutted out at 1:54pm. In that time, she cleansed, waxed/honeyed me, took care of my pesky ingrown hairs thoroughly (hard to come by!), and received payment. She is efficient and fast because her natural honey is really not as painful as hard & soft wax and sugaring. I was going on about 2 months without a wax and Erika's honey made my experience way less painful!! She is also a massage therapist and is studying to do acupuncture, so now her clients can see her for everything!! Parking is fine, its residential. I definitely suggest arriving 15 minutes early to get a good parking spot. My first Full Brazilian with Erika was $40; cheaper than European Wax Center and most other smaller Salons. read more

The owners sense of professionalism is pathetic! Before i purchased the groupon deal, i verified avail on her website. After i paid, she called and said she has somewhere else to be and wont be avail till after the new year. She refused to take me at an earlier time or try to fit me in until after the new year. Well, next year is too late. Bad move brazilian studio, i have been receiving honey wax for 5 years and go every 4-6 weeks. I just moved .5 miles from your studio.
