I was hoping this park would have a smaller footprint or to be more grand in size, but it was still a good park. I did enjoy my walk around the park. Went around twice, since it wasn't a huge place - you have to actually make up your own route to get a good workout. But they also have an outdoor workout area. I think I'll have to try those out on my next visit. I did like sitting on one of their benches on the other end of the pond. And lots of parking, depending which lot you enter from.

Too bad that the city lacked funding to keep that charming little children's clubhouse maintained. Demolished about five years ago, it'd apparently sustained unfixable neglect over the years.

That route got me about 6 miles in. It's a well-trafficked trail, so I felt safe throughout my run with plenty of walkers, runners, and cyclists around. The trail is mostly flat, making it great for easy runs, but there are a few sections that dip down and back up so you can get a little hill work in too. One thing to note is that there isn't much shade, and I didn't come across any water fountains along the trail. If you're planning to run on a hot, sunny day, make sure you're hydrated and bring enough water!

If you park next to Brea Blvd., there is a small parking lot with restrooms and an outdoor gym. The parking lot is small, so be prepared to wait or find other parking. The paved trail runs a few miles in both directions. It also has painted lines for two way traffic. It's a scenic route with houses on one side and businesses on the other side. Overall, a wonderful paved trail for your young riders, joggers, walkers, skateboarders, e-bikers, and outdoorsy people. Xie Xie!

And one advanced started doing his stuff and I was sitting under a tree watching . Then I came back an hour later to skate. But I fell twice the first time hard I walked it off. I was skating some more and hit something on the cement and fell again when I finished my shoulder, started getting sore darn.

However, plenty of parking when there's no games. It is a few minutes from Tustin Market Place and other shopping plaza. There are actually staff onsite during operating hours. Restroom is open. There's vending machine as well. Be careful - watch out for coyotes because Peter Canyon Trail is next to the park.

Follow the cement walkway to the "Safe Play place" and do not worry about your little 2-5 year old getting hurt. Must admit there is no cubbyhole to sit your American Girl Doll or offload your Batman in--- just have Mom or Dad hold it for you. No bathrooms here, yet a large grassy area is available for picnics. Tennis Court was painted and in good condition with access on the East Side. Do bring new bouncy furry balls, tennis racquets and water. Afraid of dragon smoke to pollute wee ones lungs? Have no fear, as this is a "Smoke Free Zone!" Tennis court is lighted and this "T" shaped park serves affluent North Brea residents well. It's a true little slice of heaven and Robert Macias (City of Brea) has kept this little park looking fine. Not sure if the un-happy tree was in the park or branching out from a resident rebels home. Delightful little play place and safe. Do visit!

The entrance I came in through was small and I only saw street parking. However there's another entrance where I saw a pool and tennis courts. The play area itself is small. There are no swings but everything was accessible to my 2 year old niece. There's 3 slides: a double and a curved one. Usually my niece is scared to go by herself but she didn't hesitate to go down the curved slide by herself the slide ends in some soft sand. The playground can get hot. There's no shade in the playground area but if you want to bring a blanket there's lots of grass area with trees around the playground. I didn't see any bathrooms. Not that many amenities but it was great to take my niece for half an hour.
