The customer service and office setup at this urgent care facility is remarkably different from similar establishments in the surrounding area. I was greeted by a professional receptionist and offered the password to their wifi service while I waited briefly to be seen. I arrived midday and was in & out in less than 45 minutes (this includes the time to complete paperwork). I will start by saying the doctor I worked with was very nice and helpful. And my overall experience was very good. However, I called before hand to ask if they took my insurance and if they were and in network provider. They took my insurance Info and said they were. I asked again when I arrived to ensure that they not only took my insurance but that they were in network, or if I needed to call my insurance provider to find out, she said I was fine and covered in network. 2 weeks later I get the bill. Not in network, and I owe way more than the co payment I was expecting. Now a few hundred dollars out, I will not be returning to this facility and would not recommend trusting the staff with insurance questions. read more

This is my favorite urgent care. The Staffs here are very nice & professional. From the reception to nurses, P.A's & M.D.'s. Did l mention, a super clean place too. I even come here for my D.O.T. physical. At times there's a little wait but worth the wait. This was when everybody had the Flu nationally. I went there today for a laceration on my head. I should have written this review sooner. I have been to some pretty awful Urgent Cares but this one is awesome. My husband had to go in when he cut his finger and Placentia Linda Hospital charged us over $1000 for the wrong medical care. This place was honest enough to admit they needed to look up the gauze that the hospital had used to see if it was supposed to be changed (something the hospital advised us to do). They told us that the gauze we were instructed to change was actually not supposed to be removed. They gave my husband instructions on caring for the wound and he was in and out quickly. Fast forward to a couple weeks later and my normal eye doctor was out of the office and they saw me quickly on a Monday morning before work with no wait. I was quickly on my way with a prescription for my corneal abrasion and was able to pick it up at the Target pharmacy nearby. This place is clean, they have coffee or tea while you wait, there are televisions in the individual treatment rooms and best of all the office staff and doctors are SOOOOO nice. Hope I don't have to see them again, but it's great knowing they are there :) read more

I walked in right before closing and luckily there was no wait. I had been experiencing severe abdomen pain for over a week. I couldn't retain any food nor water. I was under the assumption it was acid reflux, since I had these symptoms seldomly and didn't know any better. I saw a PA and explained how I hadn't been able to retain anything in a WEEK, the pain was severe to where I couldn't even lay down flat and no over the counter acid reflux medication was helping. She laid me down FLAT to hear what possibly could be going wrong with her scope and I of course got nauseous. She said she was going to prescribe me two medications and if the symptoms progressed she recommended me to go to the ER and get an ultrasound on my gallbladder. You won't believe what she prescribed!! Over the counter ACID REFLUX medication I had already tried that was NOT working and nausea medication. It wasn't SIX hours later I was in the emergency room and they were performing EMERGENCY ERCP to remove gallstones from my bile duct and the removal of my gall bladder. I understand they don't perform ultrasounds at that office, but they could've easily checked my urine to see something much more severe was going on than "acid reflux". It would've taken them five extra minutes to check a little further, but in my opinion, they're money hungry and want you in and out. What a waste of money, time and suffering. read more

I went to Brea Urgent Care for a bad sore throat and nasal congestion. Faby at the front desk quickly processed my paperwork and I was seen by Dr. Land almost immediately. Dr. Land was very nice and attentive to my symptoms. He prescribed an antibiotic and I was out the door within less than 15 minutes. Unfortunately, I developed rashes after taking the antibiotic for one day. I discovered I had an allergy to penicillin. I called Brea Urgent Care that morning and Dr. Shaw advised me to come in right away. When I arrived, the medical assistant Patrick was ready to administer a steroid/Benadryl injection. I hate needles and have a low pain tolerance so I was really nervous. Patrick was so pleasant and made the whole experience as painless as possible by striking up a conversation that helped distract me from the actual injection. The whole experience of getting sick and having an allergic reaction was terrible! Having this urgent care conveniently located in my neighborhood made all the difference! The facility is brand new. I didn't spend much time waiting, but there is a TV in the exam room and the waiting room. In addition, there is a Keurig for coffee and tea. I have never seen that in any urgent care I've been to! The staff is great and knowledgeable. I rarely get sick, but when I do I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

I'm not one for urgent care facilities...but when you're sick, you're sick. I am not originally from California, so it's hard to find locations that I can trust. I was here this morning after 5 days of being sick and I couldn't have been more pleased! The receptionist was extremely friendly and helped me right away. They took my PPO health insurance without any issues. I was in and out in under an hour and there were several people ahead of me when I arrived. The guy that took my temperature and blood pressure was also friendly, and I was seen by the doctor within minutes of getting an examination room! On top of that, the doctor was helpful, answered my questions, and actually took the time to sit down and talk to me about my symptoms and what could be done to resolve them. If I ever need to make another trip to urgent care in the future, I would definitely go back here!! read more

Came in to the office today because my PCP couldn't see me and was very impressed. The office is nice and clean. They offer coffee, water, and candy for anyone in the waiting room. I drive all the way from Fullerton to this urgent care because it's by far the best one I've been to. It's so clean, friendly staff, provide coffee, tea, candy & water bottles, WIFI & there's ample parking. Nice, large waiting room with comfortable seating & space. Doctors/PAs are highly knowledgeable, professional and prompt. Shortest waiting time I've experienced. The point of going to urgent care is usually because there's something wrong but they take every possible measure to ensure that the experience is as great as possible given the less than ideal circumstances. read more

Several months ago I brought my partner here for bronchitis assistance, and they were very nice and helpful. I live about 30 minutes from this location and there are Emergicares and UrgentCares closer to my house, but I knew I wanted to come here last Friday when I was having some strange symptoms I just couldn't shake. The nurse at the desk was very personable and kind. The nurse that took my to the exam room to take my blood pressure and temperature, Hector, was a really swell guy, and got the ball rolling as soon as I got in there. Dr Shaw was very professional and made an appearance to talk to me about what the outcome was and prescribe me some antibiotics. Overall, my two experiences here have been very positive, time-efficient and pleasant despite feeling unpleasant due to illnesses. I spent an hour driving around trying to find an urgent care that was open before 5pm and had xray capabilities. I abhor ER. The wait, the sick people, you walk out with a virus when you came in for an appendage problem. I should have just called here first. Great doctors, wonderful staff, clean offices, great attitude! I had to take my wife to urgent care this morning and I have to give this clinic an excellent rating. We checked in with Noemi who gave us exceptional customer service. Next we met Patrick, waiting less than 5 minutes, who checked my wife's vital signs. Lastly we met Dr. Nair who diagnosed the problem and gave my wife a medication that took away all her pain. Let me lead with my father is a doctor so I already had a predisposition of what urgent care might be like-- And I was off....the customer service was equivalent to Nordstrom. Everyone friendly, going above and beyond and smiles. Even asking me to fill out my paperwork was charming. Dr. Land, what a phenomenal bed side manner. Such an authentic, nice genuine man. So, getting past the they were so nice point, they treated my daughter, made her all better. Dr. Land gave a thorough explanation for the treatment and antibiotics prescribed. The staff here treated me like royalty. I explained my symptoms and what I think I should have and the providers recommended what they believed I should have. They explained my symptoms and what might be happening in my body. I was given a hard copy prescription (what I wanted) and I also got to here cool stories about dr. Lewis's cool car. Super friendly staff and uplifted my mood. Diana greeted me and quickly checked me in. Nicole the med assistant quickly took my vitals and was so nice. Trisha was the np student who saw me first and basically agreed I should be treated for my symptoms. Dr. Lewis explained his treatment plan and gave me tons of funny stories and got to know me as a patient. Super friendly team and you don't get a rushed vibe here. read more
