I had to present here for an incident and the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Check in was easy and I was seen within minutes after filling out paperwork. My nurse team Jenny and Neri were sure I was made comfortable and kept me medicated according to my needs. Naturally, no one likes to present to the ER, but being treated here, and on the hospital side left me with nothing but positive things to say. I'm very grateful for all the hands that went into my quick recovery. Side note: The food here wasn't terrible either. Hospitals typically have a bad rap for barely edible meals. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! If I could give this ER a ZERO I would. This was my second time coming here as a resident of this area. My last visit I was misdiagnosed and made to feel like I didn't break a bone when I did. The dr even said "ok little buddy you're gonna be ok". Walked on a broken foot for 2 weeks before another dr diagnosed that I had a broken foot. IDIOTS HERE MISSED IT! This visit I was brought in, against my wishes for a concussion I suffered earlier in the day. I asked to be taken to st Joseph, but ended up here. Symptoms at home were trembling from pain, couldn't get my words out and confused. I asked a million times for an ice pack, some water and it took them forever. My husband and the dr didn't even discuss with me my prognosis and just assumed i was faking my symptoms. Never have I been so embarrassed, confused and just flat out not believed in my life. Is it just as women we are not believed anymore?? I had head pain, neck pain, confusion and difficulty getting my words out. I feel like an anvil was dropped on my head from hitting it earlier in the day. But ok maybe she's got some mental issues ?! WTAF I will NEVER EVER EVER come back to this facility. I felt minimized, discarded and didn't even have the dr come and discharge me...as a 46yr old woman. She talked with my husband in the hall and 12 yr old over heard that maybe I'm crazy?! I do have anxiety and depression but am faithful in my meds and have a full time job. You all need to get it the F together!!!!! So unprofessional and minimized me as the patient. I just kept thinking about my previous visit years prior with my broken foot and was told I would feel just fine. Like I was a waste of their time. They didn't find any broken bones. They don't do a full work up and just do the bare minimum to get you out and charge WAY too much for the level of care you get. I did have a ct scan but it is clear. Most concussions do not show any damage, but that doesn't mean you don't have symptoms. I've heard multiple stories from multiple people who live in the area, including one of my clients whose husband died because this place would not see him in time. Told him that he had a kidney stone without checking him, had him wait, when actually he had an abdominal aneurysm and was bleeding out. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! This place WILL NOT give you the type of care, consideration or decency you deserve. This place should be shut down and turned into an urgent care instead of an ER. read more

Prompt check-in. Have brought my father here before. Very caring staff and prompt testing. Today was unusual, maybe short staffed. Nurses seem scattered. Not as attentive. Once a bed opened in ED mom was called in. Bed linen had not been fully placed on bed (hope it wasn't the old sheets) Floor had visible hair and trash. Recently had a big scare and was transferred to this hospital. From the EMTs to all of the nurses and doctors, it was a pleasant experience regardless of what I was going through. The doctors and nurses who took care of me were all amazing, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I literally have nothing bad to say about anyone or anything besides you know....not wanting to be in a hospital! Haha. They took extremely good care of me and I was lucky to be there when I was. Let me start by saying this: I was admitted for seven days and had my gallbladder removed. Those seven days were some of the most painful and frustrating of my life--not just because of the surgery, but because of the absolute failure of certain night shift staff to provide basic, competent care. To be fair, some of the staff were phenomenal. My doctors and most of the nurses? Incredible. Professional, kind, and attentive. I'm the kind of patient who doesn't like being doted on, avoids hospitals like the plague, and keeps to herself. So when I do speak up, it's because things have gone terribly wrong. And they did. After five days of bouncing between meds that weren't helping, I finally had a doctor come in, actually listen, and immediately say, "You need surgery." I could've cried from relief. She adjusted my meds, told me I could have Mylanta for the acid reflux I'd been suffering through for days, and got the ball rolling. Now why is Mylanta important? Because it exposed the pattern of negligence and lies. When I asked for it before, a nurse said I wasn't allowed to have it--lie. When I asked for proper pain meds, I was gaslit repeatedly. Dilaudid? "Taken away by the doctor." Lie. Toradol? "Approved." Another lie. Morphine, which I can't tolerate? Suddenly offered when they realized I wasn't buying the excuses. The worst of it happened post-surgery. I was wheeled back in agony, told we had a game plan: transition to oral meds, get off the IV, go home with less pain. Cool. Got it. Enter the night shift. Two nurses--one Middle Eastern, one (I believe) Hispanic. I don't care about their ethnicity--I care about their ethics. And what unfolded next was pure, unapologetic fuckery. They ignored clear doctor's orders. Lied to my face. Denied me clean gowns when I was sweaty and bleeding. Left me suffering and confused, trying not to beg for relief. And yes, I was watching Fox News in the room. Suddenly their demeanor changed. One nurse even stood by my bed, arms crossed, glaring at the screen. For thirty awkward seconds. Baby, I'm pretty--but I'm not stupid. I read body language for a living. And I felt the shift. Whether it was personal bias or political judgment, it was unprofessional and unacceptable. But the real kicker? They put me on a regular diet after gallbladder surgery. Not a liquid diet. Solid food. Luckily, I knew better and asked for broth instead. When I told my doctor? Her face said it all--pure shock. Oh--and let's not forget the nurse aide who tried to take my temperature without a plastic cover on the thermometer. DISGUSTING. The next morning, swollen from crying all night, I finally broke and told my doctor everything. In front of the nurse. I laid out the lies. The neglect. The excuses. And when the doctor asked the nurse, "Is that true?"--suddenly she didn't remember a thing. I'm speaking out because I can. But what about the patients who can't? Who don't have the knowledge or strength to advocate for themselves? I'm not letting this slide. Formal complaints are being filed. Reports are going to the state board and Joint Commission. And I'm using every single note, record, and receipt I have. Healthcare professionals don't get to pick and choose who deserves compassion and care. And if your politics are so loud you can't hear a patient crying out in pain, you have no business wearing that uniform. To the staff who did right by me--thank you. Truly. To the ones who didn't? My daughter came by ambulance to UCI Placentia Linda. She received wonderful care by staff in the Emergency Room. She was later transferred to the ICU. She remained in ICU for seven days. The care she received there was absolutely amazing. Our family was there around the clock and saw firsthand the care and compassion that was shown to our daughter. The nurses there were so very knowledgeable and relentless in giving the best care possible. They saved her life. Bri, Chanel, Andrew, Chris, Grace, Devon, Abdullah and the entire staff are super heroes! We are so thankful for them and will never forget the care, compassion and love they showed in caring for our daughter. They were also so sweet to our entire family by bringing us blankets, pillows, water and snacks. Chanel even brought in a recliner for our long nights there. She moved us into one of the quieter rooms too. She was there to always give us updates and make sure we were taking care of ourselves. The first day Bri was with our daughter, she worked her 12 hour shift, plus stayed tirelessly, several hours longer making sure everything was just right. She then turned around and came back at 7am the next day. She always treated our daughter with incredible respect and thoughtfulness. She's a gem!! Andrew was amazing in his care for her. When our daughter moved to Med-Surg, he would come visit her all the time, keeping her spirits up. Devon was there when our daughter arrived in ICU. She knew just what to do in this most critical time. We are thankful for her. Chris was a breath of fresh air. He spent so much time at her bedside talking to her and helping her through a tough time. He kept things light, which is just what we all needed at that time. Abdullah was right by her side in the evening hours when she was having a particularly difficult time. He was a good listener and kept her calm and comfortable. Grace brightened up the room when she came in. Our family just adored her. Her care for our daughter was so sweet. Lastly, we cannot say enough about Dr. Mahmud. She spent so much time with our family. She was incredibly caring and comforting. We never felt rushed when talking to her. We all have such respect for her. Her caring words, compassion and expertise was more than we could have ever asked for. She is a treasure!! Thank you to this wonderful staff. We have been going to this ER for years and always had a great experience. But now that UCI heath has taken over, my last 2 visits the charge nurse has been completely rude. Tonight my son (25 years old) hurt his hand on a punching bag machine when he hit the bag and also the wall. They reported it as punching a wall. We went back and I asked if they could change it as that is not what happened and it wouldn't look good for his work. The charge nurse came out and he said, no, wall or punching bag, its all the same. They are both solid. We said, yes, but for his work if he could change it. He said, no and told security we needed to leave. I looked at the security and said, come on, you hear him. He is being an ass and we are not the only ones he has been treating like that tonight. The security just said, yes, I know. Sorry. I hope you have a good night. Its sad that they are hiring people like this now and no longer treating people well. read more

This hospital has gone down hill since UCI took over. All the staff are slow and seem miserable to work there. They rush through dealing with patients so they can stand right outside the room and BS with each other about personal topics. They have people sit around for hours without following up or doing anything to treat or release patients. For what they charge for medical services, you would expect better service and care. The general employee attitude really highlights the failure in management. If you've been here before UCI took over, don't expect the same level of speed, care, or service. I'f you live in the area, I'd suggest making any other hospital your hospital of choice. Especially for emergencies. read more

This may be lengthy. I am an 89-year-old woman with a heart condition and asthma. The evening of March 28, 2026, at approximately 8:45pm I had an episode of difficulty breathing. At one point I stopped breathing for at least 2 seconds. I thankfully regained my breath, 911 was called and Paramedics monitored me to Placentia Linda UCI ER. On arrival, the Paramedic was questioned by a person in scrubs. That person never questioned me as to what occurred at my home earlier. He rolled into the hallway and asked if I could walk, I did and was ushered into a crowded waiting room. I was told to take a seat and wait my turn. That same person returned with a wristband and a mask; he told me to put on the mask. The ambulance was just an expensive ride to the ER. There we sat for nearly 6 hours. During that time, in the waiting room, a lab tech swabbed my throat for Covid, RSV and Strep. All he said to me was, drop your mask, open your mouth wider. I was embarrassed. During the 6 hours of waiting, I used the restroom, it was dirty. Paper towels on the floor, likely to wipe up urine, and no toilet paper. I later saw 2 rolls of toilet paper strung in the parking lot. The waiting room was cold, and no one was offered a blanket. At approximately 2:00am, and next to the last person in the waiting room, my name was called. A doctor questioned me regarding my symptoms and what had happened. I told him I had been coughing, had difficulty breathing and had stopped breathing for a moment. I also felt a sore throat. He looked in my throat and found the irritation was lower than usual. A Chest X-ray, blood test and CT of my throat were ordered. I was not administered a breathing treatment. Walking to the scan room was ridiculous. The floor was disarrayed; I needed to be careful not to walk into something. I noticed that the paper on the CT scanner was not changed. About an hour later I was diagnosed with a swollen Epiglottis, the doctor explained this is part of the windpipe and prevents water or food from entering my lungs. A swollen Epiglottis is serious and could have been fatal without immediate treatment. I was told that an admission for monitoring was the recommended protocol. I declined admission; I had already spent nearly 7 hours in this ER had been ignored and no longer felt safe. He prescribed steroids and antibiotics. I had an overnight stay at Placentia Linda 7 years prior that was a nightmare. The night I was there at 2am the light in the room was abruptly turned on. A young woman was wheeled into the bed next to me. She had flu or bronchitis and was very sick. Only a drape separated us. I was 82. One week later I was back in the ER with bronchitis. Imagine the negligence of admitting someone so sick to the same room, next to an 82-year-old. It doesn't end there but I will spare you. Now, 7 years later I'm told that I have a serious diagnosis and admission was advised. Having spent nearly 7 hours in this ER, not being monitored, I would most likely be overlooked overnight as well. I took my prescriptions to be filled at a 24-hour CVS planning to see my PCP the next day. After 9 hours, we arrived home at 5:45am Sunday morning. After seeing my PCP with active wheezing and chest congestion and the history diagnosis of Epiglottitis, I was advised to go to St Jude ER. I was immediately taken into the ER. I was giving a breathing treatment and X-rays of chest and throat, and blood work. The x-ray indicated that the epiglottis was normal, now I'm diagnosed with severe asthmatic bronchitis that was not addressed at Placentia Linda. St Jude ER areas were clean, unclutter, unchaotic. Constantly, throughout the day janitorial employees were seen cleaning. The waiting area was large with panels and ample spacing between waiting patients. Warm blankets were provided to all waiting patients. Doctors and nurses were kind and informative during my wait. I was grateful for the care. I have read the Placentia Linda ER reviews. 3 stars. no surprise. Some reviews were similar to mine. Placentia Linda is old, but could be cleaned using soap and water, fresh paint, and attention to sanitation. Nothing has changed over the years. The waiting room in the ER Placentia/Linda: Seating is too close. The room is cold due to the sliding door constantly opening. Never offering warm blankets. Most importantly, having a dedicated staff, interested, respectful, caring and kind. It's not JUST A JOB! People are not livestock. There is no excuse for being neglected or neglectful. The staff of any hospital should be respectful, attentive and conscientious. The changes I mentioned would be better for the people and its community. March 28th I was overlooked. Eden, Lawrence, Emily, Chris, Michelle, Elaine and George all deserve raises! They saved my life. That Dr Gogia is a good dude Michelle RN from the ER was great! Berlin, Gary and AJ from CT were professionals! The person that drew my labs was fantastic. Dr Do from the ER and Dr Thomas Lee from radiology were stellar. Everyone has been so wonderful caring for my husband. He came in with stomach pain and it was so slow day so there was no wait at all. Found it was appendicitis and was scheduled for surgery later in the day. The doctors were great, Dr. Guerrero, the main management doctor, and the recovery nurse was so fun and nice to chat with before surgery. Nurse Cori and Dora have been great, and aide Allie was so great yesterday. I'm not sure why people have such a poor review of this place, maybe they don't understand that sometimes you have to wait at a hospital and the staff have so many other patients to care for too. My husband is an RN too and thinks that everyone here is doing a great job so I hope this review holds a little more weight than all these one stats. Thank you UCI team!! read more

Unfortunately the quality of care here was not good. I came in for stomach issues (various) including weight loss of 8 lbs in 3 days/dehydration. While I was brought back very quickly to a room, after that it wasn't the best experience. I was refused an xray or ct stating that if I didn't have a lot of pain it wasn't needed... I was given IV fluids and then forgotten about. My labs came back in the portal abnormal some high and some low and the MD just said my bloodwork was perfect. When I questioned him on it he said he would take a look again if it would make me feel better... which makes me feel like it was never looked at in the first place. I used the call button 3 times and waited 1.5 hours for someone to return to disconnect me so that I could leave as I was discharged. 1 week later my symptoms are worse and after finally getting into my primary doctor and showing the labs being told they absolutely should have done the imaging testing is disappointing. For reference, I never once asked for pain medication, I was patient and tried to not complain.. but it feels like the staff just treats you as a number with a "treat them and street them" mentality. My lesson learned is that I paid my ER copay to not be heard and essentially for a bottle of water (if hydration). I would avoid if it isn't a minor issue. read more

On Aug. 1, 2025 upon arriving at the ER, my daughter was in excruciating pain due to acute stomach cramps. I parked in front of the ER entrance at PLH and went inside to request assistance. The receptionist on duty, Vanessa, appeared distracted and did not acknowledge me for several moments. When I asked for help, explaining that my daughter was outside rolled-over on the sidewalk in severe pain, she told me I would have to wait. Vanessa eventually brought out a wheelchair approximately seven minutes later and instructed me to have my daughter wait in the lobby. Unfortunately, the quality of care did not improve once we were inside the ER. The nursing staff was impersonal and dismissive. Despite informing the nurse on duty, multiple time my daughter was in constant pain. The nurse dismissed my requests. During our nearly six-hour stay, we only saw a physician twice. PLH demonstrated a lack of urgency and compassion. It appeared that the ER staff are very angry and not patient focused. read more

I just got a hip replacement with Dr. Fan and it went great. The nurses spoiled me, I love the physical therapists and every person who helped me, including the hospital cafeteria delivery guy, who altered my menu and got me what I needed. Everybody was just so caring and so nice. I swear it's reassuring to see that this experience for me was so great in this wacky world. Food is terrible. Had no choices. They just brought whatever they cooked that day. Had a meal that was barbecued beef or pork and I didn't eat it because I didn't know how much salt was in it. If I eat salt I get edema. I get edema then I get cellulitis and I end up in hospital. No thanks! Eggs were burnt. Broccoli was Army Green which is the result of way over over over cooked! There is no doctor or Physician Assistant on duty at night. Staff has to call doctor or PA for approval on medication and other requests. UCI took over Placentia Linda Hospital in 2025. UCI has not integrated Placentia Linda into its system and are working on it. I suspect the food will be better as it is in Orange and Irvine. I can't wait. They have raves of compliments on the new chef inspired meals Mark. read more

WOW been waiting here hours with my grandkids that both got hurt in sporting accidents, and I'm trying to keep my sanity. Guy across from us has been waiting over 4hrs and having heart trouble and is worried about dying on the way home if he leaves.. People are SOOO FRUSTRATED here, there is no urgency to see patients. Everyone in the waiting room is just waiting no one is being called back to see a doctor it's crazy I've never seen such callous behavior to patient care before,.. Other than St. Jude. I had a great experience after 2 surgeries and an exploratory surgery my foot is healing. The nurses were outstanding, and the doctors are great at what they do. I went to the ER yesterday for my concussion flare up , I hadn't slept well since Saturday I was running on 8 hrs of sleep. Mind you it was already Tuesday, so day 3 about to hit 4 days of no real rem sleep due to pain. I explain this to my the Dr. Hom MD, Darren. Who came in with a horrible attitude and asking why are you here at the ER (with asshole attitude) I was like damn .. I need relief from this headache ... he did explain like I should be seen by my primary... but I have had issues with getting in to see him. He is always booked! So ER is the second best option... it wasn't for the his nurse RN Rita who was sooo lovely and understanding of my pain and apologized for his attitude... I would have left pissed. I am new to the Area and this not my 1st experience at this place... most drs here hate their job but the nurses are sooo lovely. read more

UCI Health -Placentia Linda Emergency Department - My headache aren't normal and this will not help I tried it before going to the ER! - Hospitals Near Me - Placentia, California

This is the short version of my story about my womanly troubles and pains me and so many other woman and friends I know struggle with and got overlooked by doctors thinking it's just normal period pain. I struggle with severe debilitating cramps and pain before during and after my periods. I went to a gynecologist who tried birth control which didn't help at all. Then I was going to get IUD but that didn't happen because I got diagnosed with Antiphospholipid syndrome which is blood clots, causes strokes and other things, and read it was dangerous to get the IUD with that condition. I kind of stopped going to the gynecologist after so many failed attempts of finding a resolution. Then the pain got so bad I emailed my primary Dr. Chamberlin and asked for a new Dr. The one I got referred to ended up retiring so he referred me to Dr. Thanos, I was hesitant only because I have had so many bad experiences with some drs and gynecologist that I was hesitant to try a new one. But after meeting Dr. Thanos and telling him all my symptoms and my primary care doctor sending him all my history he listened and he scheduled me right away for an ultrasound and paps and I knew for so long that maybe I have endometriosis. I'm so thankful to finally get heard and have a gyno who finally listened and wanted to help me with my never ending womanly pain. So we scheduled a surgery for it. He is really caring Dr. he made me feel comfortable in my care and for having surgery. I had ablation of endometrium, hysteroscopic endometrial ablation and Laparoscopic salpingectomy done. When I went in I got a big room with two beds just for myself the two amazing nurses that first checked on me their names were Nola and Monique, they were extremely caring and so sweet! They asked me questions made me feel really comfortable knowing it was my first big surgery and how nervous I was. They brought me a warm blanket since it was cold in there and we just had a blast laughing with each other and they explained everything that would happen. When it was time to get me ready to go the surgery area, I was starting to get really anxious and scared. I met the other nurses who were going to be in the operating room. They asked me some questions and I kept saying I was kinda of scared before I even went there I have been having severe pain on the right side of my stomach for a while now and still and told them that. I think they all thought I was afraid of Dr. Thanos doing surgery on me because they kept repeating how awesome he was. I think it was because I was scared being alone and my first time having major surgery done and I was already in pain before getting there so it kind of worried me. I did end up having a panic attack and they gave me something which made me fall asleep before I even got to the operating room. When I woke up from the surgery. I was screaming in so much pain. In fact, they couldn't give me a certain pain relief because of me still needing to keep testing for MS multiple sclerosis. So they tried other pain medicine but it seemed nothing was working for me. I just remember crying in pain then them giving me more pain medicine and me passing out. I wanted to be moved to another room instead of the recovery room so they moved me but I was still in pain and I just wanted to be in my bed pain or not. I got there at 6:30am and left the hospital around noon. Went home and slept, but my cat ran across my belly button where one of my wounds is and it hurt so much and made the pain last longer. So I called Dr. Thanos the next day after surgery and he called me back to reassure me it was ok and everything went well. I'm not going to sugar coat it my recovery has been difficult and still taking some time to heal! But I'm glad I did it and hoping it helps the pain and periods in the long run. I did like this hospital, they were all really sweet and caring the two nurses that first helped me were the best, and Dr. Thanos thank you so much for performing a successful surgery on me I appreciate your kindness and thank you for helping me I hope this helps my pain for the future. I recommend this hospital everyone seemed really nice there and it's clean with a friendly staff! This ER didn't show any compassion, and I wouldn't recommendation me this place to anyone, let alone someone in a mental health crisis or a person of color. Two days ago at 12:50 AM, I brought my brother to the ER during a severe manic episode, exacerbated by three days without sleep. The interaction with the admitting clerk was immediately off-putting, marked by her cold demeanor. A triage nurse saw us within 10 minutes, and I cautioned her against raising drug-related topics, which could worsen my brother's condition, clarifying that he was not a drug user. Nurse Paul met us in the ER room. An hour later, a doctor assessed my brother, ordered labs, and the procedure for drawing blood unfortunately resulted in a large hematoma. By 3 AM, without any updates on his labs or care plan, I approached Nurse Paul regarding medication to address my brother's growing agitation. It was then Nurse Paul mentioned the need for a urine sample, which hadn't been collected with the blood draw. There was confusion when I queried why they weren't taken simultaneously, and a urine container was only provided after this exchange. The urine test followed, and my brother was given Ativan, which had no effect. When I requested stronger medication, Paul indicated that only Benadryl was available as the doctors wanted my brother alert for the psychiatric evaluation. I inquired about the timing of this evaluation and the possibility of being moved to a quieter area, but received no definitive answers and was told we would remain in the ER. The ER's stimulating environment only heightened my brother's distress. After the shift change, Nurse Emmy Y., unaware of even my brother's name, took over--a concerning lapse given the seriousness of his condition. Around 11:00 AM, the psychiatric evaluator arrived, placing my brother on a 72-hour hold. Despite his escalating agitation, the promised medication was not administered. I had to seek out Nurse Emmy about 30 minutes later, only to find the order had not been placed. The situation reached a crisis when my brother, in his agitated state, tried to leave. The nurse who earlier seemed unconcerned, eating candy at the desk, now applied a chokehold restraint on my brother, leaving marks on his neck. The staff's response to our distress appeared retaliatory, especially when I was subtly asked to leave the room, favoring my father to stay instead. This seemed a direct consequence of my earlier insistence on humane treatment for my brother. Ultimately, the details regarding my brother's transfer to a psychiatric facility were vague and incomplete, provided reluctantly after persistent questioning. This entire experience has left me with deep concerns about the ER staff's ability to provide compassionate care for psychiatric emergencies. read more

I will never go back to Placentia what ever you call it UCI has bought it. Same CEO same Doctors.... 8 to 20 hrs wait! My husband went there for excessive bleeding from his urine, told it was just a little urine infection, latter found out not from Placentia Linda it eas Bladder cancer. I went there with severe pain in my back. The sent me to their Orthopedic Doctor did an MRI. He said I could do surgery but you would not like me after surgery????gave me three back injections nothing worked. Went to St Jude sent me to a NuroSurgeon had surgery because a splinter from my spine had broken off and went up into a nerve. Of course because of the time waisted my left leg had nerve damage which I was stuck with for the rest of my life. Tagging the UCI name does not impress me at all!! read more

enraged at the help in urgent care, I waited the longest inside urgent care I suffer from lupus and I currently have an infected toe and extremely dizzy and nauseous from new medication I couldn't even walk straight or walk without stumbling. They gave everyone but me a room , people who were walking fine breathing fine talking fine while my eyes are swinging left to right from how dizzy I am and all staff talked about patients rudely as one patient they dumped in the waiting room with me he was clearly off substance calling his mom loudly talking about jockage in his private area loudly while my head is pounding and I'm on the verge to throw up and the staff instead of telling him to lower his voice they say and I hear them call him a "tweaker" and that he's "off a good one". When I ask if I will get help after 3 and 1/2 hours they say I've "waited the longest" and I "might" be next just MIGHT. I feel as if I was put last as a guy with nails, Hispanic and only 19 whether profiled for my age , my ethnicity or my sexuality I was put last for those reasons. This hospital used to be the hometown go to for quick hospital services. Now that it changed its name it to UCI everyone around SoCal comes here. The only thing that's changed is the name. Don't waste your time and just drive up the street a couple miles to St Jude. read more

Worse ER ever!! Please don't go there and waste your time. People there are very dismissive. Doctor James is so unprofessional and passive aggressive. He literally kept telling me there's nothing he can do about my case without even taking a look or do any medical examination. I will never go back there. read more
